The reason this pharmacy has lower end prices is because of how bad the service is. Yes, youll get your prescription eventually, but Gods forbid you need it within 3 days of your doc sending it in.The best part was when I got the excuse of oh, we just got that prescription called in! Itll be ready in 2 hours. At this point, Id like to add that I was talking to my doctor THE DAY BEFORE while he emailed it to them!The next day, when I called to see if it was ready, Oh, we just got that prescription called in! Itll be ready in 2 hours.Long story short. Youll get lied to, have to wait exuberant amounts of time, and theyll probably be rude, but youll get your meds..... eventually

The worst pharmacy I have ever used. My medication has never once been ready when I get there and I always call it in days prior to pickup. Staff is always clueless. Aside from having much cheaper prices than most other pharmacies, I would not recommend.

This is where I go to get my medicine. There is always a long line. And they are always messing up on my medicine. I get a message from them saying that my medicine is ready to be picked up. When I go up there to pick it up its never ready. This happens every single month. theres also one of my medicines that they never have in stock. But they know I come back once a month to fill my medicine here. This Krogers I would not recommend to anybody. It is the worst service worst pharmacy I have ever experienced by far. Do not go here because you will leave very upset.

“Your prescription will be ready at 3pm”“EDIT: this time, I called in the prescription and the pharmacist said it would be ready by 3pm the following afternoon. In order to ensure no wasted time, I waited AN EXTRA 26 HOURS before going in to pick it up. After waiting through the incredibly slow three person line, they tell me it isn’t ready.Is this the DMV or Kroger Pharmacy? I can’t tell. Downgraded from two stars to one”Original review:When calling in a prescription a day or two in advance, I hear this every time. Knowing better, I show up at 3:30 or 3:45. Still, it isn’t ever ready. I usually have to wait through the slow line several times before they actually have it ready.If you give a time, but can’t achieve it, you should give a later time. Simple.

The only positive thing I can say is my prescriptions are never incorrect and they haven’t caused any issues with filling incorrect medications however it doesn’t matter how much time you give them to fill your prescription. I usually call several days ahead and still try to give them an extra day only to arrive and have them tell me they’ll have them ready in 20-30 minutes and they’re not friendly about it. They must hate their jobs because they always seem ticked off . Don’t even bother asking a question about anything over the counter or a vitamin they’ll just tell you to read the label. I have a strong moral compass that keeps me from ever being rude to anyone working with the public but I promise these folks test my patience every time I have to fill a prescription. I always come home and say that’s it we are switching pharmacies but here I am still waiting for them and ignoring their obvious attitude!! One day I will switch pharmacies I swear it!!!

Horrible place. Not only do they lie to you constantly about your prescriptions, but the staff is extremely unprofessional. I just got off the phone with the pharmacist Ted who completely lost control all because I asked why my prescription wasnt filled despite being told it would be filled the previous day. I tried to express that I understand he is stressed out and having a difficult time; however, the way he talked to me (telling me to be quiet when all I was doing was trying to speak) was hateful and very uncalled for. I contacted corporate and will be following up on this. People like Ted should not be working with the public. Everyone is having a difficult time these days and his lack of empathy is disgusting.

Horrible experience!!!!!Very bad experience. I went there and i was told that my medications will be ready within 1 hour.Went and checked with them after 1 hour. Then i was told another 20 minutes. Went again and the lady told me well this medication isnt in stock and wont be in stock untill 3 more days. I have just lost 1 hr 30 min of my time for nothing!!!!! Horrible experience i would never go back there.

Had a very frustrating experience with this pharmacy. I transitioned recently due to insurance policies however I am now no longer using Kroger after the TWO weeks of frustration from my experience with them. First the customer service is not good what so ever. The pharmacists are rude and act like they do not care about their customers. Secondly, the Kroger Pharmacy website is awful it glitches and does not tell you the correct information regarding status of your prescription etc. All though, it is not Harrisonburg pharmacies fault, it is something to keep in mind when you are choosing a pharmacy as it is very useful to track your medication etc. Thirdly, since I am a new patient for this pharmacy I was not able to get text alerts when my prescriptions were ready unless I went into the store DURING A PANDEMIC. Its a shame they couldnt do a verbal consent. Fourthly, it took them a WEEK to get my medication and they never offered a small portion of my medication to hold me over (as other pharmacies have done in the past). Luckily, I had enough. In summary- I highly recommend Walgreens pharmacy on South Main. They have a drive through which is super important during this time and their pharmacists are very caring and helpful on the phone Ive had a great experience there.

I need to take way more than my fair share of meds, and have found this pharmacy to be more helpful and courteous than others Ive tried They actually try to help whenever there is an insurance or other problem, and are very efficient in getting refills approved as needed. At least for Harrisonburg, I would strongly them over several other pharmacies Ive tried.

I used to think a lot of this place, went for many many years. However since the staff has changed overtime so has the service. Got there today at 4:30 and it was after 8 p.m. when I finally got my prescription. There has been a lot of turnover all of a sudden and medicine has been sent home with me that was the wrong prescription along with paperwork that has belong to other patients. I can no longer say I would recommend this place for anybody and I myself and my family will be switching pharmacies. Ive had issues getting a very important medicine that Ive got for nearly 3 years now. Last time the only gave me 1/2 of my pills. Ive called in my kids meds twice and get there 2 days later and excuse after excuse the didnt get the message. My family member was also almost sent home with the wrong medicine. I tried to speak up and say something about how the keep making so many mistakes anymore. Its never their fault though. It is either your fault or insurance.
