Dr Kime was one of the kindest doctors I have ever had. He actually took time to listen and explain how the procedure will work. Never seemed to be in a hurry to get me out of office which so many doctors seem to do anymore

Such a great place, Dr Lovelace is the best, his assistant is very sweet. I’ve told several people about this office. I would love to see more Facebook post from this office and be able to keep up with the amazing faces on Facebook!

I have always had a very good experience over the years at Hess Orthopedics. Dr. Lovelace, his staff was very professional, courteous and ensured I was well informed. My surgery today went very well and the surgical team and all those involved from the front desk to the nurses, Anesthesiologist and Dr. Lovelace was excellent. I appreciate each one for the excellent care they provided.Thank you!!Darrin Barkley

Wonderful Doctors. I have personally seen two and my son has seen one. I had double carpel tunnel surgery done on my hands. It went great the doctors were very informative and comforting. My son had a fractured ankle that another facility thought was just a sprain. But the doctor at Hess fixed him right up. Its where we go for all our orthopedic needs. Thanks to all the staff there you are truly the best.

I went for treatment for pain, administering injections, and it is ongoing for me. 5 employees helped me get ready for orthotics and good shoes to fit. 3 of the 5 are former students of mine years ago. It was like a homecoming! My last visit included a 3 inch wire that went into my hip...way back. I will continue going there regularly for help... for pain mostly. Great facility, many professionals. Special kudos to Pam Thomas, the supervisor.

Complete waste of time. they do not know what they are doing. was told to get my nerves burned to help pain radiating down legs from back so I can lose weight as my back wasnt that bad at all. Went to a real doctor who is planning to do a fusion on my back.

Completely ineffective; wasted months of pain for no reason. My fiancee is expected to walk with a gimp for the rest of her life for a heel spur that this office could not handle. Do not waste your money and time here. WARNING.

Its been a little under a year from my last visit to see Dr. Moorman. Very Pleasant experience from himself and his staff! He helped alleviate my worries about my broken ankle! He listen to me and didnt just treat me as another patient which I think rare now days! Glad to have chosen this place! I broke 2 bones ankle in February of 2016 and was back to work at the start of May! Also, There book keeping system made it very easy to get my paper work for work and insurance purposes!

Stay away if your concerned if they care...Nasty staff, lazy Dr., retalative. Never felt safe, staff and Dr. response proved my fears. Moved on from fractured ankle on MRI, to another better Dr.

Doctor was very unpleasant; rude and unprofessional. No bedside manner or compassion. Entitled and would not accommodate patient rights to determining their plan of care.

I went with a friend to an appointment that they had for moral support and upon arriving we had to wait exactly an hour to be seen after the original appointment time. When the doctor finally came in and had some rather upsetting news he was EXTREMELY unhelpful with answering any questions that we had. I have never in my entire life seen a patient treated SO POORLY and I will be advising friends and family to go elsewhere. This man could care less about the health of his patients and his attitude and demeanor made that very clear. A doctor is someone that you go to for help and I can certainly say that help was NOT received. We certainly left this office defeated and in tears. My advice would be if you’re looking for a friendly professional environment go elsewhere because you will not find that here. I’d also like to add that staff members should be more quiet when talking/joking around about patients in the building because we could HEAR them the entire time we were inside our room VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

I was in RMH Sentara last month with 4 broken bones. The Ortho surgeon from Hess made the recommendation that my displaced upper humerus break should naturally fuse together. The doctors where I live laughed at this and said that the doctor who made the recommendation to let it fuse naturally should not be allowed to practice medicine.I received a bill for $236 from Hess Orthopedics. The surgeon for them did absolutely nothing for me. I dont think I ever even saw him. His recommendation was laughed at. I am not paying the bill.

I should have known by my phone conversation while trying to set up my appointment that this place was deep, righteous, judgmental south at its pious worst. The ensuing scene is noteworthy of the grandest sham of theatrical hysteria in southern history...its funny to that the south is known for its hospitality when in fact what that means is we will smile at you, talk about you behind your back while we ridicule you for being different than us, as a generality of course. The clinical manager, Tiffany or something equally southern belle-ish, an over done, peroxide blonde whos entitlement emanates thru her pores decided that i was a threat...because i have opinions and voice them..decided when i chose to leave and not continue my appointment due to the gross discrimination based on my outspoken opinions. So she was tatle taling to the Doctor i think, telling him she refused and early morning appointment time...Hello ?? Is anybody home? Are you not aware that the customers get a choice? Well, that was pretty funny and very telling about the mentality and great efforts of the peroxide blonde to try and degrade me while grasping at straws to do so.As I am leaving the inner office she gets right up next to me and starts yelling at the staff to call 911 they question her...she yells again call 911..911..now AND lock the doors....she really did this. Her attempt to Incite panic to portrait me as something i was not, of course, a threat in any way except for my opinions. The performance was exceptional for a shallow, judgmental southern woman whos value lies clearly in how she is perceived verses the rights of a potnetial customer of the practice to express opinions and, oh, god forbid chose not to come to crack of dawn appointments. So, if you are of northern decent or simply a persona who can think for themselves and share opinions, i suggest you choose another practice. The Sentara orthopedics is very good.Shame on you Tiffany, or some such vapid expression of who you are to the bone. Its all very theatrical, funny even if it werent such a tragic expression of not only a culture, a small town but also our country and its superficial values.
