I do not recommend Dr. Royters office as I was recently disrespected by office staff including his wife (office manager) and discharged by Dr. Royter because insurances no longer pay much for this treatment and it is not worthwhile for him to continue providing the service. Absolutely unprofessional and the wife shouted my personal information in front of staff and a patient at their office and the receptionist threw my credit card in my direction rather than handing it to me. When I informed the office manager I was going to report to Adventist Health the way their office treated me she told me to go ahead as they are not affiliated with Adventist Health and own their own practice. Please go elsewhere for your treatment even if it means you have to drive farther for better care.

My wife and I have use this Doctor and the experience was ok, he seems like a nice doctor. Today my wife attended her appoint that she is been waiting for a month to see him and to her surprise no appointment was on the schedule. Like I said we call in advance and were told that there was a wait time of about a month, so my wife schedule and appointment to follow up with him. Today Nov. 4th for her appointment we had to take time from work, make day care arrangements etc. just to be surprise that they FAILED to write her appointment up on his schedule. I dont know who drop the ball, but is disappointing and we are considering looking for a different neurologist.

My husband and I have been looking for another neurologist in our area. We were referred to Dr Royter in Hanford.Dr Royter is a very compassionate doctor. He LISTENED carefully to our concerns, offered his advice with complete details, and always asks if we have any questions. He takes adequate time to clarify if needed. His staff is friendly and seem very professional.Thank you for taking us as your patients!

He has no interest in the wellbeing of his patients or the patient’s family. He’s my mom’s doctor an 80 year old lady with dementia. My mom for sure is not in the right treatment because of the crisis she’s having, called the office on Friday to ask aboutThe medication que prescribed over the phone and never got an answer from him or the office.I DO NOT recommend this doctor.

If youre a smoker than dont bother seeing him, because anything wrong with you is because of smoking. Even though he stated that the radiologist who looked at my MRI was good, he dismissed the findings. Then lied and stated there were no treatments for the problem (there are 2). I was an oncology certified RN, so I know he was full of it.

If I could give it half a star I would. This office only cares about their money, not their patients. I had a phone appointment with the nurse practitioner, not even the doctor. Got a bill for $300+. And a very unpleasant call from the office manager demanding her payment. She all but accused me of insurance fraud. Told me to call my insurance company and straighten it out because she had no luck with them. When I called the insurance company they had not even received the invoice. She cancelled my .uch needed appointment saying that I could make another one when my bill was paid. Well of course my PPO insurance paid their office. Then I get a call, not to make my needed appointment, but to get their copays. So I have to call them to make my appointment and they say they will call me before my appointment to collect their copay. Not to remind me or check me in with a nurse. If they werent the only neurologist in the area I would go somewhere else. I made my appointment, hopefully its my last.

I took my father to Dr. Router for his dementia and the initial visit was pleasant. He sent us to get lab work. The second visit Dr Router had forgotten that he sent dad for lab work and did not have the results. When asked about the results of the lab work he played it off like it really wasnt important and scheduled us a future appointment. It seems like he is only padding his pocket.

My first experience with this office was extremely poor. About two months after my last scheduled appointment (when I arrived to this appointment, the office was closed and no one called to cancel or reschedule), I received a call from the office. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and offered me a next day appointment but I was unable to make it until Monday. When I arrived at the office and spoke with the nurse, they said that there had been a change in staff which makes sense. Although I was completely dissatisfied before, the professionalism and efforts of the new staff has been great. The new NP in the office, Jan, was very friendly and listened to my needs. All of the problems I had been experience were corrected that day.

Hello. My name is Brandon. I am a disabled veteran diagnosed with a mild tbi and migraines and also have had a c5-c6 disk surgery so my headaches can be very severe and dibilitating. I have been just fighting through them for the past couple years but I believe it is time to get back on medications for them and to see a doctor to receive treament. I have Tricare and Medicare insurance do you accept those? And will you see me?

I am currently a patient at Cedars Sinai for my Multiple Sclerosis treatment but I am looking for a neurologist that treats MS closer to home. The Dr. at Cedars is great but traveling is a far distance. Does Dr. Royter accept Anthem Blue Cross SISC insurance? If so, I am definitely interested in scheduling a consultation.

When the appointment was made I was told I would be seeing Dr. Royter. After waiting in a room for over 30mins. In walked an NP named Jan. No thank you for waiting or sorry for the wait. When I asked why i was not seeing the doctor she was well it doesnt matter Im the NP. Yes it does do not like being told one thing having another happen. She came in with scratch paper folded several times with notes. Was not even concerned with the patient other than how she wanted to handle things. Was not even slightly impressed with any of the office visit. Left the appointment will not be back.

Took the time to explain things and discuss optionsEdit review: Ive been going to the office for a few years now. I have only seen Dr. Royter for about 2 of my visits. Every other visit I see his RN, Chris. I was told I need to take a medication that Im not comfortable with. I asked for a different method of treatment and was brushed off.

Dr. Royter is the absolute best Neurologist ever! He is very thorough and actually listens to his patients instead of just throwing medications at symptoms like other doctors in this area do. He gets to the root of the issue causing the symptoms and does so in a very kind and compassionate manner. It is so very nice to have a doctor like him that cares about his patients.***UPDATE: It is laughable now to look at the response I received from this provider after writing this review about a year ago. I had a grand-mal seizure on 1/21/2018 but was already a patient of Dr. Royter prior due to having severe migraine issues. At first, Dr. Royter was great in helping explain and testing for the possible cause of my seizure. I was then put on three medications to help with migraines and also seizure activity as well. Topamax, Relpax, and Klonopin (1mg tablet) at bedtime to help with insomnia. During my last visit with Dr. Sietz, he upped my dosage of Topamax and scheduled a follow appointment for me in six months for a follow-up appointment, which is April 5th, 2019. However, upon going into Walgreens to pick up my Relpax, the pharmacist informed me that ALL of my medications had been CANCELED because the doctor’s office told them I was NO LONGER A PATIENT OF DR. ROYTER AND HAD BEEN DISCHARGED BACK IN JANUARY. Confused and very upset, my husband called to find out what was going on, and thought there must be some mistake somewhere; however, we were told that I had indeed been discharged as his patient, they will no longer see me anymore, and that they don’t have to give me a reason why they are discharging me. So now I am scrambling trying to find a new Neurologist and as any GOOD NEUROLOGIST WOULD KNOW....when you have had a patient on Klonopin for a year, dropping her cold turkey is a ticking time bomb for another seizure. Please take my advice and DO NOT GO TO THIS NEUROLOGIST. It makes me almost laugh at the response they posted below. Clearly, they will NOT always be there for me. It is a huge slap in the face as well to be discharged and then see on his website and everywhere else that he is “ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS”. I will be writing letters, posting all over social media, whatever I have to do to let people know how badly they screwed me over. WORST DOCTORS OFFICE TO GO TO, FIND ANOTHER NEUROLOGIST.Response to Dr. Royter’s “excuse” below: Your “reasons” for discharging me, not for public discussion, would be well understood had you at least explained TO ME why you decided to just cut me off as a patient so abruptly. Secondly, I was given NO list of doctors with the same specialty in the area and on top of that, your discharge letter was sent to a wrong address and I never knew of a 30 day “grace period” for your services. But, hey, at the end of the day I thank you for showing your true colors to me because my daughter also sees you for her Epilepsy and is about to start having children and you assured her you would be there to work with her ob/gyn during all of her pregnancies. So, since I believe you are discharging patients who don’t “pad your pockets” as stated by another reviewer, by getting rid of me, you just lost a WHOLE LOT OF BUSINESS with my daughter who would have needed your extensive services during her childbearing years. Your loss, not ours. You have done us a HUGE favor by showing your true colors, sir. I am so glad I know not to let my daughter see you anymore either.

Dr. Royter gives the patients that are not on medi-cal the better treatment. If you are in the hospital and he recommends you to see him in 2-3 days after discharge dont plan on it. 2 months out for a patient who had seizures. Hmmmm.

I would advise anyone with Tri-Care to stay away from Dr. Royters office. He claims that he accepts Tri-Care Prime however he prescribed a treatment for me and he was unsatisfied with what Tri-Care pays he tried to put the cost on me. Anyone with Tri-Care knows that we have no out of pocket cost. His office told me that they will not treat me if I do not pay them the extra cost and now I have to find a new Neurologist. This means an extra 2 months of pain for me to get in with another office now because his office is a bunch of scammers. Stay away from them.
