I had an excellent first visit today. The staff is wonderful. They were kind and helpful from my first phone call and in every interaction I’ve had with them.Sue and the Dr are phenomenal. I have a clear treatment plan that I understand. I look forward to my future visits.

I came here for a second opinion as I searched for a new dentist. The experience was stellar- from the office staff, to the hygienist, to the dentist. These folks get what it means to create trust and treat you like a human being. And the treatment/educational piece was highly competent and professional. No more second opinions for me, Ive found my new dentist!!

My recent visit at Smiles By The Sea is by far the best experience that I have had regarding dental work. The environment is warm and welcoming, which is a major factor for someone like myself who struggles with anxiety over having dental work done. The staff are very knowledge and friendly - I didn’t feel like I was just another “number in line.” They treated me with respect (zero judgements) and took the time to answer any questions I had. It was really just an awesome experience after having so many negative visits in the past with other dentists. I look forward to becoming a long term client for all my dental work in the future.

Being new to the area and having let my dental check ups lapse I was very nervous and cautious selecting a dentist to go to. The first visit was very good - especially liked the hygienist Sue who did the cleaning as I have sensitive teeth and she did the best cleaning I’ve had in years - was very pleased! Dr Nachawati did a very quick and accurate diagnosis of what he found. Explained well and answered all my questions.My next visit was even more nervous because it involved a crown and filling two cavities.This time I had a different dental assistant, Quinn along with Dr Nachawati they were excellent, caring and efficient through a two hour multiple procedure. I strongly recommend this practice to anyone and am appreciative of their professional and caring team!This includes btw their administrative staff.

I had my first appointment recently and I was very pleased with my experience! From the moment I made the first call to the moment I left the building, I felt safe, happy, and like family. My hygienist was very gentle and knowledgeable, probably one of the best cleanings I’ve had! The dentist was really nice and very knowledgeable- she answered all my questions and addressed my concerns- it really felt like she cared about me. And the front end staff was extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. I have a lot of dental anxiety, and just speaking with the front end person made me feel more at ease. So overall, I was extremely happy with my visit, and look forward to my next appointment!

Smiles by the Sea is an excellent team for your dental needs! They go above and beyond with covid precautions by fogging twice a day, full PPE and air purifiers; I felt very safe. Sue is a friendly hygienist and I loved their ultra sonic cleaning system.

A great place to have your teeth taken care of. The rooms have massage seats, a clever way of covering the vibration of the dental drill excavating your tooth decay. I also like the skylight that lets me look to the heavens and take my mind off of the poor self-care that has led me to having two dozen cavities to fill.Everyone is nice. Prices are upfront and they are good about giving detailed receipts so that you can avoid insurance battles.The work done by Dr. Shevchenko is great. Ive gone to a few dentists over the years and she is quick and clean with fixing up your teeth. Pain is minimal and falls back onto the patient, as had I gone to the dentist earlier I might have been able to avoid the quantity of work I need to have done.The best dentist is not having to go to one, but if you need to have work done, I highly recommend Smiles by the Sea.

This dentist office has done it right! From their precautions to COVID-19, all the way to their warm welcome into the office. Being a new patient, you always have that skepticism. From the moment I sat down in the chair, she educated me on all the tools that she was utilizing and kept conversation going despite having all the layers of PPE on. Terry did a great job cleaning my teeth and was able to get me in and out quickly. Its always hard to have a conversation when your mouth is open and filled with cleaning tools but Terry is a great story teller and her banter keeps things light and relaxing. I also appreciate how flexible the office is to adjust to my schedule. That flexibility is a key part of my positive experience.
