While the office staff was very friendly, this did not match the physician himself. The entire appointment he talked over me and wouldnt let me explain how Ive been feeling. He also shot down everything I was able to bring up saying that what Im saying has nothing to do with why I was there (ie. reasons why I thought I kept having migraines, repeated patterns, etc.). He also said that nothing causes headaches or migraines accept the way our bodies were made from birth (hormones, weather, physical activity, etc. has nothing to do with it, apparently). I felt so uncomfortable throughout the whole visit that I had tears in my eyes half way through, which he didnt notice, and highly considered leaving mid sentence. By the time it was over, I couldnt even reach the elevator before breaking down and crying. I absolutely will not return and I will not recommend anyone to that physician.

I’ve been pleased with the care given by Dr. Zapata, and his staff is very friendly.

He literally told me I am out of his pay grade after 3 years of seeing him. Genetic generalized epilepsy is out of this pay grade?! Not impressed. Im only giving 3 stars because his staff is very professional and he is always on time.

As usual, Dr Zapata was his charming self.
