Tldr: Be prepared for drama and bs if you try to get an appointment with them.I called in October asking for an appointment to which they tell me there is a 3 month long waitlist. I had emailed them numerous times in January over my spot in the waitlist and was left on read each time(thanks email tracking). I then decided I was fed up with it towards the end of January so I decided to call them. They have options when you call them. For example pressing button 1 will give you a voicemail to leave your name and number, pressing button 2 will give you the front desk at the hamden location and pressing button 3 will give you the front desk at the woodbridge location. I wanted to speak to a live person so I press button 2 and ask for an update on my position in the waitlist and the receptionist lies and tells me she is redirecting me to a person who can help. In reality she sends me to the voicemail line. I call again and press button 2, this time asking for Monica who was the receptionist I had spoken with on the phone and she doesnt even say anything and redirects me to the voicemail because she doesnt want to speak to me. Thanks a lot Monica. Finally I call again and press 3 this time to speak to the woodbridge office and this time a humane lady finally responds and tells me my spot hasnt moved even though I had been placed in the waitlist on October 21st. Now im left without a psychiatric doctor to continue my medications. Be prepared for a boatload of drama if you decide to consider this place.
Very friendly and accommodating. On bus line and hours are great for me. Most important to me is i trust the process here. If you need some help please call them. No bs doc here. Its a place where pill shoppers are not welcome. Dont ruin it for people that really need help.
They dont return calls in a timely manner
If I could give the practice a negative rating I would. Dr. Aversa is avaricious and dismissive. The staff is disorganized and difficult. Spend your money and time somewhere else.
Definitely recommend!
