Affordable Home Care is deserving of the highest rating.My elderly mother and my sister are both disabled, and they desperately needed in-home care.The folks from Affordable Home Care sat down with the family and laid out a well-thought-out proposed home-care solution,customized for the needs of the family.The services they have provided have been excellent!The service has always been very professional: reliable, on-time, and consistently at a high level.This fact is so important because we couldnt seem to get these things from other service providers we tried.We, as a family, were essentially stressed out.But now, with Affordable Home Care, theyve taken the stress out of it with the excellent care they provide.Each day, my sister gets the help she needs, to get up, bathe, get-dressed, exercise, eat, get-ready-for-bed, etc.Likewise, my mother gets help with many household chores like light cleaning, some laundry, dishes, vacuuming, etc.And just as importantly, the care-givers are very nice, polite, and personable.The Coordinating Nurse, Carmen, is the best. She has really made sure that we get the best care.Shes always looking out for us, just like she was a family member.We are very thankful for Carmens dedication and for the service provided by Affordable Home Care.

Affordable Home Care is great!!When I first joined their agency it was a Friday and I was going to need care for Saturday morning. I honestly thought fat chance!! Well, the owner came to my home on that Friday evening and set everything up for me and there was a caretaker in my home on Saturday morning. It was amazing. That person was Carmen and I was so very pleased.I have vacillated between agencies for about 4 years now and I had yet to find an agency that really acts like part of your family, until now.. I have been with them for about 2 months now and the consistency is just fantastic and warmly welcomedIts been quite hard to feel confident that my caregivers actually had my back, but now that I joined Affordable Home Care this search is finally over.Carmen has been fantastic in her attentiveness and ability to organize my care plan. They are not only very reasonably priced, but their professionalism is second to none. In addition, they will help you with any task you need help with in your home such as moving clothes from one closet to another, vacuuming and dusting if it is needed.They make it very clear from the start that they will help you with whatever will make your life easier...I am a 50-year-old Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis patient and I have finally found an agency that I can really rely on.I find that a lot of these agencies get hung up on a three or a four hour minimum for each shift before they will agree to come to your home but Affordable Home Care will come to you, as it is needed. They make you feel very important. When a comfortable schedule is put in place, you are assured to get the best care. I am grateful for finding affordable care. They have provided me with a wonderful healthcare assistant,Norma. Following several falls, and a decrease in mobility, I was unable to maintain my usual independence. Norma has helped me maintain that independence, and in addition helps me with household chores that have become difficult. She has a good personality and I feel she is a friend. Affordable Homecare has great staff, affordable prices. They assist my uncle with daily living activities, meal preparation, assistance to appointments if needed, help keep him safe at home which for me is very important. I am more at ease now when Im working knowing that I dont have to worry about all the head aches with past girls Ive hired on my own Ive had that issue. They are professional and care about their clients and employees, best of all on call 24.7 if I need them. I shopped around and had other agencies but when I joined Affordable Homecare after getting the right people in my home that works well with our schedule that is what has keeped me with them. Best of all management comes out once a week and make sure everything is going well for my uncle and the girls have all the supplies in they need. All my uncles documentation are correct and they are detailed. So if something happens to him we can see what has been going on. Weve been using the Affordable Home Care team for several months. I brought my dad back to Connecticut after he spent several decades in the Washington, D.C. area. His Senior Living environment was not enough on its own and I was unable to give anymore support than I was. I was stressed and making multiple weekly visits to get him settled even after twelve months back in the state. Finally, when I found Affordable Home Care things began to change. They did an inspiring assessment of my dads needs and wants. My stress was relieved instantly. They help with providing him grocery and other item shopping. This was so helpful to me because he is constantly in need of something and I had previously been overwhelmed just trying to get him necessities like medication, toiletries, clothes, phone, and appointments with his doctors. Now we are starting to reach some of our mutual goals. He has begun to join his community in the cafeteria and he is moving forward with a model building hobby. Ideas from our assessment day to provide him with more enjoyment. They also obviously provide the normal homecare services, like helping him with bathing, laundry, and cleaning his apartment.
