I wish I could give five stars, however, a supposed health food store dropped their employee mask wearing way too early and scared a lot of customers like myself away. Just recently, after months of staying away, I returned to see employees wearing masks again. Unfortunately for them we all found alternative means of getting supplements, etc. They dropped the ball on customer safety and that trust is very difficult to regain.

I’m a regular here, love the food, love the products. I come often and hope to continue to for a long time. One star off for interactions with one cashier who is always borderline uncivil. She accidentally charged me once for soup crackers. When I pointed it out, she said “it’s only 30 cents,” and stared at me in stony silence, like it’s not my problem and you can afford it. Well, I can, but it’s also not about the money. Nobody likes to be treated that way.

Unsanitary Workers. Friday Sept 3 2021I went to buy a few things, including something from the hot bar. The woman behind the plexiglass had gloves on. Her hand were in and out of her pockets with the gloves still on. She then proceeded to pull out a tissue, pull down her mask and blow her nose. She put the tissue back in her pocket and kept the gloves on. She picked up the utensil and asked what I would like. I said that nothing interested me at that moment. Gross is a understatement. If that is done in full view of customers, I can only imagine the hygiene habits(or lack thereof) behind the scenes. Wont be back. Ever.

What a great experience from the moment I called, to when I arrived and checked out. Mark was able to hold something for me until I came in. When I arrived he was helpful and kind. It is a great store full of vegetarian, vegan options and goodies. Never thought I’d see a vegan chocolate Santa Clause! It also smells really good when you walk in :)

This place has some great soup! also a wide selection of hot foods and packaged sandwiches. the produce section is small yet has everything you might need for last minute groceries. can get a bit crowded sometimes but when 3 lanes are open the line moves fast.

Great local health/organic grocery store! They also have a great hot food bar in the back - everything is always very tasty with vegan options. Love their bulk selections of grains, nuts, teas, spices, and coffees. They also have a very expansive selection of vitamins and supplements. I would like to see more locally sourced produce though! They seem to have most of their organic produce shipped from far away places like California.

Ive spent thousands of dollars yearly at Thyme&Season for many years. Ive exclusively got all of my supplements there mainly because Linda is so awesome! Sadly, the manager, Nick has a very negative and very unfriendly vibe. He is rude to both customers and staff. He does not own the store and is merely the manager, but Im tired if being subject to his energy. Im moving on.

This place is unbelievable! The food is to die for! Chef should be up cooking in Park City it’s that good!!!!

Very little fresh produce - only a tiny amount of space. is devoted to anything you could call fresh. This store largely caters to those who want some magic elixir in a bottle or some prepacked food that says non-GMO

The place is definitely more expensive than your average grocery store, some items you can find at the Big Y (exactly the same) for much less. However, they have a wide variety of vitamins and supplements which you cant find elsewhere, and they have nice organic produce and some in-store made food items. A good option for a healthier lifestyle, but you can be a bit smarter with money by getting some things online too. They do occasionally have sale items. Handicap accessible entrance, a good amount of parking, and staff are very friendly.

Great place for organic, locally grown produce. They have a wide variety of supplements and the staff is very knowledgeable about their products. Their hot food bar is delicious (different every day)! They have prepared food too....salads, sandwiches, and wraps. My only complaint is theres always too many carrots on the sandwiches. Theres also a wide selection of frozen food that includes meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free items. Theres plenty of other things they have that I didnt mention, like locally made vegan peanut butter cookies that are sooo yummy! My favorite things about Thyme and Season are the friendly staff and knowing that Im supporting a local business.

Ok, I was skeptical at first about their in house food, a lot of healthy food stores have ready to serve lunch/dinner, but a lot of times they taste blah, I tried their vegan lasagna, wow it’s good, tasty, perfectly salted, well spiced, exactly how it should taste! My taste buds got exactly what asked for and I have no sugar cravings, thank you. Happy to see they have Abraham’s hummus, it’s excellent! I always pop in to get some sweet alternative for me and my daughter. Yes, they are a bit pricey, as expected, nothing over the top (read other reviews), in fact I’m ok with their prices. Thank you, oh yeah, thank you every one who works hard at the store.P.s. they use sustainable cutlery:))) yay

The pros: The only Natural food store that is decent in between Whole Foods at Milford and Glastonbury. For a small store, there is a good selection of prepared food. I like their hot food.The Cons: It is NOT cheap. It is clearly more expensive than Whole Foods in produce, dairy, noodles etc etc. Their selection is limited. The worst experience I had was a cashier probably in her 60s who with a big fake smile told me she was a Trump supporter! Did I need to hear this at a grocery store?

Such a great selection of foods packed into this place, from vegetables to bulk spices to supplements to candy... all kinds of great stuff. And the prices are very reasonable. This isnt Price Chopper; youre paying for quality and convenience. Normally Im in an out of this place quickly, which I love.

This was my first time shopping here and the experience was less than pleasant. The cashier who is an older Caucasian woman did not greet me nor acknowledge me for that matter. She did not speak one word to me while checking me out. She simply rang up my item, placed my receipt on the counter and was ready to see the next customer. She was all smiles to the customer before me, but her entire demeanor changed as soon as I reached her register. I would say she was simply having a bad day, but that clearly was not the case. I guess she only likes a certain “type” of customer. Will not be returning back.This incident occurred on Saturday 5/16/20 between the time of 11:10am and 11:25am

Fantastic food! Its a very different experience than other dining — theres no traditional menu, and your choices are whatever you think of with the chef. Its fun, but youve got to be mentally prepared for it.

I been shopping at Thyme & Season for years now so do not let the small store image fool you. They have variety of foods that cater to different dietary needs. Daily they prepare delicious soups that are labeled gluten free, vegan...etc. The ingredients are all listed and if you need more info just ask the chef who is often available. You can also place a large order for your favorite gf pancake mix or other. They are constantly expanding and open to suggestions. I give it 5 stars for sure.

I wish I stopped in before such a cute market. I love there prepared hot food I already been there twice in a week to get lunch.

Great option for quick snack and bite to eat. One of my favorite items to purchase are the vegan parfait(small/large options) they go fast so call in to check if they have them. They also have a hot food bar vegan and vegetarian option plus soups. Theres a bulk food section inside the store. Great place and would recommend. If your vegan try out the parfaits today!

Ive never seen such a collection of healthy foods before. I stop by here for lunch every once in a while. They have a great selection of hot foods that you pay by the pound. The selection changes daily.

Just visited this store for the first time in ages and it has become a delightful little place! Great selection of natural and organic foods, produce and supplements. And the staff was delightful and friendly! :)

I called to see if they had a product and the man on the phone was great! He even told me the different variations of the product they had and the prices! Very helpful when you are trying to look for a hard to come by item!!

For the area, this is a great natural food store. Considering the size of the store, they have a shocking variety of fresh produce, supplements, and other groceries. The front parking is typically full, but there is plenty of side parking and a spacious gravel lot behind the store.Despite always seeming busy, the staff has never failed make time and direct me to an item I couldnt find.If you need something they dont carry, you certainly could go to Edge of the Woods in New Haven or to Whole Foods in Milford. But if youre like me, youll take advantage of not being stuck in New Haven or Boston Post Road traffic, and youll stop in at Thyme and Season instead.

I love the staff. They are helpful and honest. I left my cell phone and they returned it back to me the next day. The soup is delicous here and I love there nuts selections. The only problem is its a little pricey. But overall, Im really glad there is a Thyme & Season in my town!

The food there really is so much better for you. The organic avocados are a great price and a personal favorite of mine. The staff members are so kind and knowledgable too. And if they dont know, they admit it rather than lying to you. Definitely a 5/5 experience. I now buy my groceries here every week.

Three stars for the items they carry. Dont call first to find out if they have something, oh no, they are rude and sound like you are bothering them. Always in a hurry to get you off phone. They carry great items, but the staff could use some talking to.

It is the BEST store around for finding a variety of prepared foods when you have to deal with food allergies. I have used them for years and kept my kids happy while avoiding seven of the most common food allergens plus six more. Every time I visit relatives I am reminded why I am so happy to have them nearby.

Linda... asset to the store... knowledgeable about supplements and always willing to help you with any questions. She will suggest the right product for you..very good health product store.

Thyme and Season is NOT open until 7:30. They close at 7. Its a nice little store with lots of great products to chose from. Some staff are very knowledgeable.

I needed help for a medical issue and was provided three items to select from - I bought two of them and am happy to report I have not had a symptoms since. - thanks again to the great staff for helping me out.

Im surprised he has returning customers or a staff to help him. Ive never been treated like this at a restaurant. The owner is the most rude and inconsiderate person I have ever met... I asked for one alteration and he freaked out because it wasnt his way.. the food is over priced and isnt that good to be treated like that. Horrible experience.

I have shopped here on about 5 occasions and have enjoyed it every time. The staff is helpful, the produce is high quality, and they have a great selection considering they are not a large natural food market.

Has more health food things you will need without driving to New Haven edge is better but I dont like going there

The staff is completely rude and terrible. Every employee I saw seemed grumpy and annoyed with customers. One of the younger workers there bumped into me and didnt even apologize and ask if I was alright. The prices on some items, such as Silk and Daiya, were outrageously overpriced for no reason. I can go into any other grocery store and pick those items up for less. Will not be returning - I recommend New Morning in Woodbury. They bet this store out in every way.
