Dr. Hecht’s office is a smooth running operation. I was there for hearing assessment and annual removal of wax from my ears. The assessments were thorough and Dr. Hecht took time to explain everything. Outstanding care. Trusted provider and team.

I checked in immediately. Within 2 minutes I was ushered into the room for my procedure. Doctor Hecht came into the room within 2 minutes with his tablet as he was reviewing my history. The procedure took a few minutes, Doctor Hecht discussed the results, and I left. Everything was done very efficiently, and quickly.

I was not impressed with Dr. Hecht. I found him to be on the rude side and inconsiderate. I went to him upon his advertisement for tinnitus. I was not allowed to explain my problem. He was the one who had to ask the questions. Before you know it I was getting a hearing test and told about getting hearing aids. I am not interested. I was trying to tell Dr. Hecht how and why my ear began to ring but he was not interested in what I had to say. Dr. Hecht did not give me a good ear examination. He did not use the instrument that is used to examine in inside of the ear. Dr. Hecht used all of 2 to 3 seconds to look in my ear. I am not going back. Not happy with him or his inconsiderate ways.

I was extremely pleased with Dr. Graig Hecht and his office staff from my 1st visit 5 years ago. I had a very small mass on my face that Dr Hecht was monitoring. Over the years I always felt comfortable with him and his staff. This year the mass started to grow and Dr Hecht explained when I would need surgery. When the time came to have the mass removed, I had come to trust him completely. He was a skilled, professional and answered all my questions. After surgery he spoke to my wife at length, explained the surgery and all my post op needs. She said he was wonderful and in no rush to get off the phone. I had a three hour surgery that was a success and because of his skill I did not have any nerve damage to my face. I am so grateful that i had Dr Hecht as my doctor and I would highly recommend him.

No one would ever accuse Dr. Hecht of being a good listener, or of caring about his patients over his wallet. One might, however, accuse him of being a narcissist and would have hit that nail on the head. Worst experience EVER!! I should have turned and walked out the second I saw his used car salesman smile and the dollar signs in his eyes. I curse myself for not listening to my gut about him. I had such a horrible experience, theres not enough room to share all the grisly details, but the thing that stuck with me the most was my post surgical experience. It was so much worse than they said it would be and when I said as much one of the staff said Yes, we dont tell people the truth about this surgery because if we did they would never have it. Had I been prepared, my recovery could have been much better instead of the NIGHTMARE that it was. When I found myself sitting at my desk at work almost a week post surgery hemoraging from my nose, I called in a panic because I couldnt get it to stop and his response was Yes, that sometimes happens. When I asked Why? he couldnt be bothered to answer me. When I called several weeks later complaining of severe and chronic stuffiness his response was What did I tell you two weeks ago? I told you you were doing fine. Youre doing fine. Chronic stuffiness, and living as a mouth breather is not fine. Im worse off than I was before I went in to see him. Dont walk but run away from this Dr. & this practice.

I am severely disappointed with Dr. Hecht and the staff at this practice. Dr. Hecht came highly recommended by two of my close friends, who each had children with ear and sinus issues.Thinking he could solve my daughters issue with her constantly blocked sinuses, recurrent ear infections, and sore throat, I brought her to the Madison office in early December. Well, much to my surprise, he was condescending and full of himself. Obviously, he knows everything there is to know about Ear, Nose, and Throat, and he should never be questioned by the concerned parent of the patient. He was just so sure that my daughter is suffering from TMJ pain and nothing else. Go back this morning and he says, well she has TMJ and probably silent reflux. Lets put her on Prilosec. When I balked he actually said, Well youll never know what the symptoms are from if you dont put her on the medication and I wish this wasnt the answer but thats what I think it is.Seriously?!! So later this same morning I take her to our regular (and wonderful) pediatrician who notices her ears are congested, and she also tests positive for Strep. And I thought Dr. Hecht being an EAR, NOSE and THROAT specialist would have noticed something that basic. What a terrible experience, a waste of time for my daughter, myself and a waste of money.I will never recommend this practice and I will never go back.

Dr. Hecht has been taking care of my family for almost 10 years. When I was looking for an ENT for my son, I called Dr. Hechts office to ask if they accepted my insurance. From the first conversation with a receptionist through the first appointment and each subsequent appointment there after I have always felt comfortable and at ease. Dr. Hecht is an amazing doctor with a great personality. He explains everything he is doing or will do in detail so you understand what is going on every step of the way. I recommend Dr. Hecht to EVERYONE when theyre looking for an ENT telling them I have the BEST IN THE WORLD.

Awful. Phones open up at 8:45 and got an answering service until 9. Site used for them to show available appointments for the day said one was open at 3. When I finally go through they stated nothing available. I questioned that and got no response. Then I said I will have to look somewhere else and the person sounded like they could care less. Just shows their office is not organized.Way to treat a potential new patient.

Dr. Craig Hecht is an amazing surgeon . He found my lymphnoma as a second opinon. Which was the right opinon, my first one wanted to just keep an eye out for it. But Doctor Hecht said no, it is necessary to remove and do the surgery. He was right and he is right on top of my condition and keeping me safe and healedI love the guy. God Bless him and keep him well and safe also.

I was a new patient and will not be back. Dr. Hecht cuts you off while you try to answer his questions, is short, rude, dismissive, and does not thoroughly examine you.
