I found out Hamden Endodontics through my General Dentist referral. I do not normally write a review but I feel like I have to recommend this place. Dr. Cha and his staffs are so kind and professional. I have had several root canal treatment experience in other places. It was not hard at all to find out why he has such an excellent reputation in the area. I was so calm and relaxed during the treatment. I strongly recommend Dr. Cha for Root Canal or other related dental treatment.

Easy to get an appointment and convenient location, with a beautiful, relaxing view while you’re treated. Dr. Cha and staff are kind and respectful; even as someone with many dental issues I do not feel judged. And even though I do not have anxiety about dental work, He and assistant Toni are very calming and always ask how I am doing during the procedure. Dr. Cha took the time to clean my glasses after one procedure. It’s the little things ;)

I enthusiastically recommend Hamden Endodontics if you are in need of a root canal. My dentists referral to Dr. Bruce Cha was one of the best and happiest experiences of this otherwise challenging past year. Dr. Cha and his entire team were welcoming, professional, and courteous. Dr. Cha himself is an amazing endodontist. Obviously expert with state of the art skills and high tech equipment. But also calm and confidence inspiring as he works. Not only were my multiple procedures successful, they were minimal in discomfort and pain free.

I was so nervous/scared/anxious/you name it that was me. I have never liked the dentist (I am sure many can relate). Dental pain is pain that is like no other pain. The office staff was great when I called to set up my appointment. They explained everything over the phone. The emailed welcome package explained everything. Walking into the office they were taking all the Covid precautions. Toni & Dr Cha were GREAT helping me relax. The background music & the rolling pixs on the TV helped as well. I would recommend this office!

I will first start by saying that I never had a root canal before and was very hesitant. After delaying for 10 months thru this pandemic. I decided (along with my dentist) to see Dr. Cha for a 3rd opinion. Dr Cha along with his staff made my root canal completely painless. Im writing this the day after and have had no need for any advil or tylenol at all. I dont even feel like anything was done! The whole staff is top notch. Dr. Cha is top notch. He explains everything as he goes along. Has an excellent bedside manner and is extremely patient and understanding of any concerns you may have. Toni (his assistant) is very knowledgeable and wonderfully calming. I would recommend Dr Cha to anyone that needs any endodontic work without hesitation. For the record, I never meet him before, I know noone in the office and I am not related nor know anyone that is to him. And, lastly, this is the first review I ever posted . I would give him/them more than 5 stars if I could.

I highly recommend this office. Everyone in this office is really welcoming and makes you feel at ease. The receptionist Margaret was so friendly and accommodating. She was so helpful with the paperwork and insurance benefits. The dental assistants were amazing. They made sure that the procedure was comfortable and knew how to calm the nerves. Dr. Cha really cares about his patients. He is very personable, gentle, listens to all your concerns and takes the time to answer questions. Everyone at the office work so well as a team!

Dr. Cha recently saved me from over 2 years of chronic tooth pain thanks to superior expertise and advanced technology that other dentists lack. I had 3 dentists take both x-rays and digital pics of the area that was causing me extreme pain to the point where i couldnt chew on that side at all. Each x-ray showed nothing wrong. Those dentists concluded I was grinding my teeth at night. I finally went to Dr. Cha and within 15 minutes, after imaging the area with his 3D CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomogram) machine, diagnosed an abscess in that tooth requiring immediate root canal. The difference after the root canal is amazing and the tooth area has returned to health. I never before realized the extreme diagnostic limitations of dental x-rays. If you have tooth pain that is not being diagnosed by x-rays or digital photos, you need to go to Dr. Cha or the problem will worsen. Thank you Dr. Cha and your excellent staff!

This office provided excellent treatment. They were very patient and attentive. The doctor was comforting and informative. I recommend this place to all. Best service Ive received at a Dentist office.

I have not met Dr. Cha or any other doctors at this office. I was surprised to findout from the many papers they asked me to sign that this office charges a consulting fee of $150. I should have been notified of the fee over the phone when they made an appointment. The referral dentist should be informed by Dr. Chas office. Not all endodontist slide in a $150 bill on the day you need help.

I got my very first root canal done a few months ago in this office. Dr. Cha and the staff were professional and courteous. Dr. Cha offered clear explanations of the procedure and the calming presence of the staff made me feel at ease. All went extremely well without any complications, and my general dentist was very impressed with the fine work done by Dr. Cha. I highly recommend this practice.

For full disclosure, I am directly related to Dr. Cha but Ill do my best to remain objective.I required a root canal last year and having grown up knowing what kind of procedures these entail, I was fairly anxious. However, Dr. Cha put me at ease immediately with his calm, controlled, and confident demeanor. There was zero pain during the procedure, and the follow-up was thankfully minimal.From what I hear from his colleagues and other patients, I am highly confident that Dr. Cha gives the same compassionate treatment to whoever walks through the door.

Had 2 bad teeth that Dr. Cha performed root canal on in his Hamden office. I was treated with such amazing respect and care. Both went perfectly and have not had any problems since. I would highly recommend Dr. Cha and his amazing staff for any endodontic treatment.

My experience with Dr Cha reminded me of a story from Greek mythology, Androcles and the Lion...Androcles encountered a lion who had a large thorn in his paw, causing great pain. Brave Androcles carefully removed the painful thorn...the lion was so grateful that they became friends for life!Dr Cha is both brave and carefull!

I honestly walked out of the waiting room on my first appointment in the middle of filling out paperwork. Secretarial staff was extremely unprofessional and talking in whispers about their apparent annoyances with my visit and issues that they had with things that were apparently not done correctly regarding my referral and insurance. In such a small office staff should be careful what they say within earshot of the patient. Also if there’s an issue all it takes is to peek up from behind the computer and ask me a clarifying question instead of whispering about how it annoys and frustrates you. I already have a severe amount of anxiety about dental work and I no longer felt comfortable after this lack of professionalism. I’ll be rescheduling elsewhere.

Came and saw Dr. Cha first time for a root canal. He seems very friendly. Id definitely recommend him.

I was pretty freaked out about having a root canal done after a really bad first experience somewhere else. Dr. Cha and his assistant walked me through every step, putting me at ease. For the first time in 9 months I dont have pain and can chew normally. He was the only person, besides my hygenist, to listen and take me seriously and immediately put me on needed antibiotics. I highly recommend Dr. Cha.
