If you are looking for a great rental space or co-work environment. This is the place, with a friendly and accommodating staff you cant go wrong. Treasured and mission-driven community institution that provides inexpensive office and event space to numerous local businesses, religious groups and other nonprofits. WCC has existed only a few years but it is hard to imagine Hamden without it. Whether you are having an event for 20 people or 200 people, they will work with you to create a memorable and affordable experience.

This place is truly a wonder. So much so I wonder why people dont book it more often. Plenty of space for whatever event youre planning. The accommodations are unrealistic. Check them out for your next event.

Compassion fest was superb. Had a great time. Talked with many venders & had some marvelous food - all vegan. Stopped into the Playwrights Pub for A beer and. . then headed to Day Orange Cat Brewery in East Hampton for a tasting. WOW!! Thats a whole new story What a lovely Hotter n Hell Day!!😚😚😚

We do a lot of events for our church and have rented Whitneyville Cultural Commons many times. We LOVE this venue!! The space is fantastic, with the stage, sound system and lights! The price is right, and the owner Robert is absolutely fantastic to work with!

Love this place, I go line dancing here every Saturday morning 9-11 am. Come on out and have fun learning new dances. Wed. are for beginners 5-6:15 pm The instructor Xan makes it fun, shes a great teacher.

Parking in the lot immediately adjacent to here is smallish, but there is a free public parking lot directly across the street. I only rated this 3/5, but as public spaces go, thats pretty good. It would be better if there was a crosswalk to the public parking, instead of having to dash across 4 lanes of road.

The venue was very nice very accomodating for our baby shower of about 50 people. Centrally located and parking available.

Excellent public space and community gathering spot. Ive attended numerous events and gatherings here and its a beautiful spot - older building, hardwood floors, beautiful old stage, cozy little kitchen nook and comfortable meeting rooms. The staff that are there are very helpful as well!

Great hall. The spaces are very open and well distributed. Perfect to host any gathering with a max capacity of 120 people.

I had went to WCC For a family reunion for the first time that Place was very impressed with the area.

I love this place! It is a gem, contributing to community life in Whitneyville and all of Hamden.

The Whitneyville Cultural Commons is an iconic and gold standard community center.Rob, Laine, and the rest of the WCC staff, are all-star event planners. Their space has held everything from middle school field trips to folk dancing, to co-working spaces for tech companies.Their attitude and positivity is contagious, their experience and insight is helpful, and they are always up for a good time.I cannot recommend the WCC any stronger. Their facilities and time have been instrumental in the growth of my company, and has lead to countless smiling faces at events both indoors and outside.Thanks WCC!
