They never answer the phone !

Very nice place and has a few different toys to keep kids distracted while they wait. Staff was very nice as well! The ONLY reason I am giving a 4 stars is due to the facts they dont answers the phones much, let alone did I get a 24 hr call before prior to my childs visit to the point I was an hr late from traveling in traffic while trying to get a hold of someone. BUT I must say once they got the operations manager involved she made sure my son was seen, There wasnt a long wait and I recieved exactly what I went there for. Plus they gave my son a gift! 😊Thank you ladies for all your time and patience!! But definitely gotta get a better phone system set up!!

Hackensack UMC ICD charges $1500, even with insurance, for one hour of Eileen Dolans time, no lab work, nothing else, just one hour of evaluation (her talking to your child). This is outrageous - they must be raking it in. It took about 6 months and mountains of paperwork to get an appointment and we werent told this outrageous amount until the day we arrived. Needless to say ,we left when we were told how much it would cost. The staff here are rude and will not answer their phones or return voicemail. They were supposed to inform us 72 hours in advance of the cost, but due to their total disrespect towards their customers we werent told the cost until the day we arrived. Hackensack UMCs goal seems to be making outrageous profits at the expense of children with disabilities.
