Do not go!! Covid patients in small waiting room. They advertise you can wait in your car, then refuse to register you until you come inside. Go anywhere else and you will be safer!

The staff is amazing. Dr Qadri was so good with my kids. Wait times are a little long with covid but in the past it has always been super quick

This was my second time visiting. The first time I was so impressed with the service, I bought two bouquets of flowers snd left $100 for staff lunch. It’s very seldom you go somewhere theses days and service providers treat you like they would treat their own family or even better. Everyone was very attentive and warm and concerned. When people are I’ll, that’s exactly what they need. My second visit was just as accommodating but I couldn’t go back to take anything because I’m in pain with a broken toe so I’m commenting instead. I’d recommend 100%

Staff is amazing!! I have been using this urgent care for years some of the people have changed but the quality never has. The doctors are the best always nice and you can tell that everyone there enjoys and take pride in what they do.

The best example of false advertising I have ever seen “Urgent care” it’s more like let us take our sweet time care. They don’t prioritize the appointments that are made and are extremely slow. I can understand if there are a lot of patients, however it’s 9 in the morning and there is a total of 2 other people here and it is now 10:00Am and I have been waiting for an hour after making a 9Am appointment the previous night.

This urgent care always takes good care of my son and I. While other well known clinics have waiting lists into the next day we are always able to be seen here in a decent amount of time and the staff is helpful and supportive while other urgent care staff can be dismissive. I recommend.

The staff was very friendly and nice. The office was clean. The doctor was phenomenal! He took his time and explained my care I was receiving and he answered all my questions and I had a lot. He also was very informative and understanding with all my concerns. He was very reassuring. I felt very comfortable after my visit.

The woman at the front desk was unkind, short and unpleasant. There was only one doctor here and it was an hour and a half wait. A gentleman who came in and reserved a spot in line online had to start the process again. The online reservation doesn’t work apparently. I tried calling ahead of time and no luck getting through. People here are sick or injured it would be nice to be treated kindly and not as if you’re an inconvenience.

This location was very convenient. The medical assistant and PA went above and beyond so I was able to get my toddler in and out very quickly! Also, loved the ability to be check in and complete all questions on my cell phone as soon as we got in. Thankful to have this center in the neighborhood!

Had a great experience while there. I did have to wait a hour over my appt time however, I was very patient as they were short of staff. Megan the medical assistant and Madonna the nurse practitioner WAS GREAT! Front office young lady who name I didnt get was very knowledgeable, polite, helpful and a joy to talk to while I was waiting. It made the time go by. When I got to the back everything went quickly and they listen and took great care of me. It was worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this urgent care.

You should call the place Urgent Bandaids. There was a nurse practitioner running the place. She did not do any kind of physical assessment other than a cursory check of parts of my lungs. No assessment for dehydration but sent me to the ER for IV fluids. I’ve trained NPs before - I would fail this woman. No bloodwork was ordered, no meds, no real diagnosing!Totally substandard as a clinic and deceiving to the public.

Staff was friendly and efficient. All my questions were answered completely.

I saw Alicia Gronowski PAC. They were able to get me in for my rapid test and she did an excellent job. Everyone needs to remember the pressure our providers are under. We are lucky to have providers like Alicia. I will be using them for my healthcare needs in the future.

Don’t waste your time. This place is terrible. I had an 11:30 appointment for a Covid test, showed up on time and was told it would be a two hour wait. What is the point in making an appointment? It seemed like the lady at the desk took joy in telling people the long wait time. Just awful!

The lady at the counter helped my more than she needed to , she made us feel special , the staff nurse was sweet and Doctor was superb, (the physician ) was specific and detailed I felt cared for! Was very happy and comforted with the care facility

Do NOT get your COVID test at MI Urgent Care Grosse Pointe (MIU) I made appointments for my mother and uncle so they could finally travel to Canada. They were in the clinic for 1 hour 10 minutes. The MIU staff told my relatives that they had to wait 15 minutes after the test, then they said they had to take their blood pressure and be seen by a medical professional, etc. They also used the nasopharyngeal swab that was used early in the pandemic, rather than the superficial nose swabs that are more widely used now for PCR tests, work well, and don’t hurt like a brain scrape. I’ve had several COVID PCR tests and never had to see a medical person, had my blood pressure taken, etc. – I’ve just driven in, gotten a swab and been on my way.I called MI Urgent Care Grosse Pointe and asked why my relatives were detained so long with unnecessary medical procedures and they said it was how they conducted testing. I asked if they did this since I gave my relatives’ insurance and asked if they’d have to pay anything. The MIU woman replied that although they will submit it to insurance, not to worry about any co-pay, deductible, etc., since the state of Michigan covers everything. IMO this is a complete scam. MI Urgent Care gets paid by the state (we, as taxpayers) to do extra, unnecessary medical examinations when someone is simply getting a COVID test to travel (e.g. no symptoms, not contact traced, etc.) – and the travel reason for testing was noted at the time of scheduling and by my relatives upon arrival.It gets worse. The people at MI Urgent Care told my relatives that the test would take 3-5 days, but not to worry since the 72-hour travel requirement starts when they receive the test results. False – the clock starts 72-hours from the time the test is taken.I made several attempts to call MI Urgent Care Grosse Pointe back on day 3 to find out the status of the tests since we hadn’t received any email notifications through the Solvhealth.com registration site. After about the 5th try (previous calls went to a voice mail that was full), I was told that my mom’s test had come back negative and my uncle’s hadn’t come back yet. I asked if the results would be emailed or alerted via email so they could obtain them via Solv. She said no, they couldn’t email results because of HIPPA laws. Side note – do you think she was complying with HIPPA by telling me my relatives’ test results without authorization?! I then asked how they could get the results. She said she’d print them and we could come pick them up (totally inconvenient and they might miss their deadline to enter Canada). I replied that there must be some way to get them online. She said that Quest Diagnostics does their testing so I could try getting the results through them. I asked how to go about doing that when we don’t have an account with Quest. She replied that she’d been hearing complaints that Quest’s site had been down most of the day, so it probably wouldn’t work anyway.The whole experience was utterly unreal and frustrating. It was topped off by my relatives getting rejected at the boarder since they said that the MIU tests weren’t PCR tests. I don’t think that’s correct as the print-outs they obtained, although confusing, looked like they were PCR tests, so I think the Canadian customs misread the results.

Minimal wait time with an appointment. Everyone I interacted with there was friendly and professional. Would definitely go back for other urgent care needs.

I visit this urgent care often. Today I called three times and no one picked up. I was turned away when I arrived because I didn’t have an appointment. I asked the receptionist if the phone was working because I called three times with no answer. She snottingly stated that they’re busy and she’s training someone new. I stated well you could have picked up one of the 3 times. She stated, “well we busy.” She needs training herself for her unwelcoming attitude and tone with customers. She shouldn’t be training anyone or working with the public at this point. I won’t be back there. I’ll just go to a more professional place down the street. Professionalism is definitely lacking there.

I wouldn’t recommend going here. The ladies at the front desk are very much disrespectful especially the one with the glasses. They didn’t even speak to me when I walked in they just starred at me then rolled their eyes. They had attitudes and acted like they didn’t want to be at work. The only nice people there was the nurse and the doctor they make me laugh and answered my questions…with that being said, I wouldn’t come back here. All I needed was a rapid Covid test and lady with the glasses was very unprofessional.

Just walked out truly upset. No one answered the phone after calling for 2 days. Walked in and was told to spot down and someone came behind me and was serviced before me. I will never be back. Just walked out.

No one answers phone. Depending on the receptionist you can have a good experience or a bad one. Bad receptionist walks away for 20+ minutes without coming back. Not friendly or helpful at desk. Appointments dont mater and you will have to wait in line if there are a lot of walk-ins. If appointments dont mater dont take them.

Professional & Caring Environment. Im very grateful for the way I was treated with compassion. The app lets you know your place in line which is extremely helpful.

I went there this morning and the receptionist said hello. I was slightly distracted as I was looking for hand sanitizer and it was empty so I didn’t immediately respond. She said hello again in a mean tone. I said hello, how are you. She ignored me. I then tried to ask her a question and she ignored me again until another patient asked her to respond to me. I left and went to another clinic. No one should be rude to their customers.

You have a front desk that literally doesnt answer phone calls. Call 20+ times for days and get forwarded to a full voicemail. I walk in to the urgent care and call just to see if the phones work, and I see the front desk lady look at the phone ring and ignore it. Perfect

Ebony and Megan (I hope thats her name) were AWESOME!!!! The entire staff was courteous and professional, they made me feel very comfortable and at ease during my visit (I was there for my very 1st Covid test 😰😷). Ebony did my intake. She was patient and informative, even in our phone conversation before I arrived.. Megan administered my test, she was empathetic, understanding, comforting and funny😁 She totally put me at ease in a frightening situation. Everyones behavior toward one another was sooo pleasant. I will definitely visit this facility again in the future.. Thank you all so much at Michigan Urgent Care, for your warmth, and your service. It is TRULY encouraging in such trying times.

Good for things other than COVID tests. Over a week since the test and I still havent gotten a result from them. People working there were nice, might have more luck if you go in for something else.

Came here after Beaumont Urgent Care up the street kept me waiting for over 3 hours. And all I needed was a strep test.Scheduled online and was seen immediately. Great service and efficient staff all very helpful and kind.

I was very satisfied with my visit... I was able to download the Solv app to keep track of my appointment. My wait time was very Reasonable.

I always go here and receive great service, however Dr. Shah was exceptionally wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable and offered me different options for what I was being treated for. The service is efficient as well as effective. They make sure to send your prescription to the pharmacy of your choice and assist with any other needs. I always ask a lot of questions when being treated and the staff patiently answer all my questions. I would recommend this Urgent Care over any other.

Quick and easy. All the staff was super nice.Went in for a Covid test, and ended up getting both the rapid and PCR test as per the PAs recommendation.The rapid test results were ready in about 15 minutes, and I was given all the info I need to find my PCR results when theyre ready.

We dont use this Urgent Care often, thankfully. And when we need to, the level of service is usually very good and quick. Which are the reasons why we go hereHowever, it is completely unacceptable that they never answer the phone. It goes to some random mailbox extension which does not accept messages. I am not sure if this is a line problem or what, but I shouldnt have to drive there to follow up on test results.

Please, please update your phone system and/or start answering it. It just rings and rings and rings, then goes to a voicemail box that is full. Literally had to drive back to the clinic to try to get COVID test results. What is going on here? I even called the Ferndale Michigan Urgent Care clinic to confirm that I was calling the correct number.

Literally the WORST clinic I’ve ever been to. Unprofessional staff that NEVER answers the phone. Took a Covid test that I am still waiting over a week to get??? This place should be shut down for Covid testing because there are literally people not able to work because we are waiting for results. Front desk is very rude and looks at calls as they come in. Doctors were nonchalant.

Although google said they were taking walk ins, the place was not. I had signed in online like it instructed to do on the door and waited in my car. Apparently my appointment was cancelled, when I went in to inquire after waiting for 30mins. The Receptionist and Doctors were very apologetic and still fit me in.
