The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and made sure that I understood everything that was going on. Very professional setting and affordable. Not to mention that they put me at ease. Not everyone likes going to the dentist but they’ve changed my outlook. I will continue coming back and I even referred a few family members.

What an absolutely amazing visit today! I was very skeptical about getting my wisdom teeth pulled but Dr Denalia put my mind at ease and the procedure was very smooth with no pain at all! I would recommend him highly! He is very professional, focused, and determined to get the job done right!

Awful experience. Things start with a simple cleaning or just checking the tooth by the two doctors over there and you end up losing a tooth! They keep charging insurance and you and you remain in pain. As I and my wife lost two teeth by just a simple filling. They are unprofessional and busy, the dentist is taking care of several patients at the same time, do not waste your time and money!

From the moment I entered the dental office, I was greeted as usual with a warm welcome and smiles. I felt safe from any thoughts of the covid virus and lead to the chair to get my teeth cleaned by Sandy. After cleaning we talked about fixing my bridge and making a plan for the inevitable time that the bridge comes loose from its posts. I have severe dental anxiety, but I chipped a tooth and knew I needed to get that taken care of. Dr Mike and the staff made me feel comfortable right when I walked in the door. They could see I was nervous and walked me through everything before doing it. They have the option for CO2 to keep patients calm, which I chose to go with. One of the nurses saw my nervous twitch that I do with my hands and got me a squishy to squeeze while Dr Mike repaired my cracked tooth. He tried to ease my anxiety in whatever way helps me best. I also dont have insurance and the prices were very fair and competitive. I would definitely recommend this place for any dental work you need to get done

I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I’ve always struggled with my teeth and I’ve always hated going to the dentist. I’ve always had dentists who were rough and condescending and as a result I avoided going for way too long. But I went for my first appointment today and I couldn’t have dreamt up a more pleasant experience. Mary made sure I felt comfortable and didn’t experience any pain and Dr. Mike was just awesome! My Family Dental has a fantastic dental Team! I had my teeth and gums cleaned, a filling, a crown put in and two teeth extracted and when the numbing wore off..Absolutely No Pain! Gums werent sore! I love coming to My Family Dental-Grosse Pointe. I really like Dr. Mike and Cindy. I dont however like having to return to the office a million times just to get my denture implants fixed. You know? Like the bands on them arent holding my denture in place. Ugh! Its so darn frustrating. But, I still give them 4 out of 5 stars. Although, I just remembered that I have 1 more complaint. Wow! Are they ever sticklers for time. I was once three minutes late and they called me at exactly 11:03 on my cellphone to inquire if I was still attending my appointment which I said yes for the umpteenth time that I would still be there as I was walking up to the door and had verbally confirmed my appointment just a couple days prior to that and confirmed via a text message too. And then I got scolded for showing up 3 minutes late for my appointment. SMH!! Yet, this last time that I was there which was just last Monday. They took an hour and 15 minutes before they even called me in the back for my appointment which took a grand total of 15 minutes. Doesnt make much sense to me!!

In order to have your teeth drilled you have to trust your doctor. I completely trusted Dr. Mike and his amazing and beautiful sunshine Family!! Thank you Dr. Mike and the beautiful ladies of My Family Dental. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My experience was amazing! The staff was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Everything was explained in its entirety prior to any procedure. Up to date, state of the art equipment. The office was clean and the atmosphere was calming. Dr. Michael Danelia was personable and he put my mind at ease. He was concerned about any concerns that I may have had. I am happy that I was referred to him.

Dr. Mike and staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. My first visit left me feeling like I had been a patient for years. I had a cleaning and a root canal, both were very pleasant experiences all the way around. Even the numbing shots were comfortable....those always hurt! Only difficult part of my visits were trying to stay still in my chair while listening to the music playing during my appointments. The playlists.. were.. on... point :)Needless to say, I will be coming back for more! Thank you, Dr. Mike and crew!

Dr. Direzze, Dr. Danelia and the whole My Family Dental team are amazing. After experiencing intense wisdom tooth pain and explaining my situation to the team, I was able to be seen within a few days and they made the whole process from start to finish painless. I would highly recommend!

I was falsely reassured on multiple occasions by this office that even though I am out of network, that because I have 100% preventive dental insurance coverage I would not be charged for a cleaning.  Furthermore, they did a special cleaning on my husband without his consent and charged us an additional $121.  In short, I was billed nearly $400 for cleanings only.  My advice, if you are out of network find yourself another dental office.  The billing staff is incredibly rude and incompetent.

Dr. Mike is the best dentist I have ever been to. I actually drive over 50 miles to see him, when there are much closer dentists I could go to. He did some amazing restorative work on my teeth and I can smile again without feeling self conscience. Everyone at his office is knowledgeable, and answers all questions. My experience going to Dr. Mike has been exceptional. He takes great care in his work and wants you to have the best care possible. I can say that because after all of the times I have had fillings, he has always personally followed up with me to make sure I was comfortable and not experiencing any pain from the operations. Its refreshing to have a dentist who makes you feel like youre his only patient of the day and that hes excited to see you, even though the place is busy with other patients. He is happy to answer questions and gives answers in a way I can understand. The dental techs are very personable and the front desk staff is helpful and friendly. Oh, and they did a great job with my teeth...very thorough. Had two fillings done in less than 45 minutes. I was in and out when I expected to be there for a couple hours.

Scheduling availability is ideal for those who work 9-5 because they stay open late twice a week. Comfortable, warm environment. Teeth cleaning and dental procedures (fillings) were not painful. Appropriate numbing and background music made procedures more relaxing for those who suffer from anxiety at the dentist. Clean office. Educated staff. Nothing short of a great experience. Dr. Danelia is extremely personable and makes dental cleanings and fillings a breeze. I have so many great things to say about My Family Dental I dont even know where to begin. Every experience Ive had thus far has been amazing. Bridget at the front desk contacted my insurance company to inquire about prices so I didnt have to, then she priced out multiple plan options for me so I could understand the full scope and weigh my options.The office is updated, clean and inviting. The wait times in the waiting room and when in the chair are minimal. If there is ever a time I had to wait in the chair, I dont even notice because the staff is so friendly and personable that time goes quickly. Sandy did a fantastic job at cleaning my teeth. She was extremely thorough and told me exactly what I need to do moving forward, which shockingly most dentist offices dont do, so this is much appreciated. I had the best Experience ever here had severe mouth pain and called Dr. Mike and they got me in super fast and made the process as smooth as one possibly could literally 0 pain through the whole extraction process of all my wisdom teeth. They are very friendly cracked jokes and made it all worthwhile. One of the best experiences Ive had at a Dental office.. EVERYONE at the facility was up-beat, pleasant and professional. I do not live in MI, but I broke a tooth and had to do something fast. They took the necessary x-rays, explained the situation, defined the options, and provided a detailed quote,...in writing. They performed a temporary fix , so that I would be pain free until I returned to TN and saw my own dentist. I do know one thing, if I lived in MI, they would be my dental health provider!

I was very pleased to find that this office was very accommodating when trying to determine an appointment time. Upon my first visit, the office was very inviting, clean, and updated. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. I was serviced immediately. After a thorough review of my dental health, a detailed plan of work that included what benefits covered and to what extent was quoted so I could plan how I would manage my care. I really appreciated how welcome they made me feel.

I did a lot of research before choosing a dentist, as I have a lot of work so its quite an investment of time and money, am new to the area and so I searched reviews and found Dr. Danelia. So far Ive had cleanings plus two crowns and am planning implants for the remaining teeth I am missing. My cleanings went well, very friendly staff, and just had my permanent crowns done this week after having the temporaries. They look and feel amazing, already feel like my own teeth, can eat with them without sensitivity. Im very pleased with Dr. Danelias work.
