Best doctor I have ever had and now she is moving away 😥

I am a very anxious person. I have a little bit of fear when it comes to doctors. I read all the reviews I could find on Dr. Maehara, and I decided to give her a chance. I had an amazing experience at her office. The front desk was super kind, and the medical assistant that took me into the room was amazing!! I didnt catch her name, but she was so funny, caring, and helpful. She made me feel super comfortable before even seeing the doctor. Dr. Maehara took the time to listen to all of my concerns ( I had quite a few) and to answer all of my questions (I had a lot). She is compassionate, empathetic, and super knowledgeable. She gave ease to a lot of my worries, and didnt rush any of her explanations. She did not leave the room without explaining everything in detail to me! Even the ladies who took my blood were super nice, and caring. So glad I decided to see her!

Poor bedside manners!!! As a new patient I met with her for 30 minutes to discuss my medical history and to get to know her. My next visit she came in rude telling me about a previous conversation we never had... when I explained to her I was not aware what she was speaking of, she looked in the computer and said “oh, we didn’t have that conversation” no apology. When I explained to her she was different than the last visit, she hunched her shoulders and said “I’m sorry you feel that way” she continued to hunch her shoulders with her responses as I talked. It baffles me that some doctors do not listen nor read their patients charts, but want to sit in front of you and pretend, while they take your money and time...
