Unfortunately, they appear to have executed an insurance scam on me that resulted in me paying several hundred dollars for a basic childs eye exam.The Henry Ford pediatrician referred my two daughters here for an eye exam. They billed medical insurance. Then they billed vision insurance, but as a coordination of benefits claim without the information the vision insurance company needs to pay. Meanwhile I am getting billed several hundred dollars on my medical deductible. Every time I call the billing department its a different story. (They dont offer optometry, they billed VSP as secondary, then they say they cant bill the vision insurance company at all). Not sure why they cant bill the vision insurance company (they already did once!) but a regular eye doctor not affiliated with the health system would be able to. Save yourself the hassle! Several hours have been spent on the phone to resolve this.Saw Dr. Kim Le, not a good bedside manner. For a basic service, it was adequate. Not good for her to be associated with a shakedown.

Chris us absolutely wonderful and the reason we keep coming back. She takes the time to work one on one with you and to educate you on the glasses you are purchasing. She is so calming it really helps make the experience more enjoyable.

I had a very good experience at OptimEyes on Jefferson in Grosse Pointe Park. I was having some difficulties with my new glasses due to a complicated prescription, etc. I went back to the store with the glasses, and Chris very patiently guided me to a solution. Through the process, I learned that Chris has been doing this for 20 years and knows her stuff. I appreciated her expertise, and willingness to get it right for me. After that, I went back and ordered prescription sunglasses — which I love. Thanks Chris!

When I went in the Grosse Pointe OptimEyes service station I was immediately uplifted by Chris cheerful attitude. She made me feel like wed known each other for years. Her competency is without question! Chris is very detail oriented and seemed to go OVER AND BEYOND her call of duty to make sure my prescription was right and perfectly fitted. I am fully satisfied with my eyeglasses. I always say to Chris that she should get some type of recognition from her employers just by how beautiful her attitude is. I have purchased glasses several times here and have always dealt with Chris. She is caring, professional, easy going, knowledgeable, cheerful, upbeat and all around a wonderful person to have walk you through the process of buying new glasses. I highly recommend having Chris assist with new glasses.

Great store. This is my second pair of glasses and I am very satisfied with both sets that I have received. Danielle was very helpful through the process and got me glasses that fit my needs. Both Danielle and Chris are very knowledgeable. Danielle was able to answer all my questions and made some great suggestions that I didn’t know about. Worked with my insurance and went above and beyond in finding the best solution for me. I highly recommend this store. Personal and friendly service and both Danielle and Chris are very professional. Be careful a medical assistant without any formal training does all the testing. Doctors just write the script they do not do patient care. they will speak with you but not practice medicine and check your eyes. Very scary and poor medicine

Maybe this review would have been a 4 or 5 if I could have gone in for my appointment.Which i scheduled at the end September for Nov. 5th. They called to reschedule once, I agreed for Nov. 12th, then they tried to reschedule again, which I refused, my time is worth something too. Unprofessional and unreliable.

Horrible experience. Total waste of my time. They are so inefficient, and so oblivious to the fact that patients time needs to be respected as well. I had contact lenses exam at the end of April, it took 3 months of chasing after them to give me trial contacts and finalize the script. Their contact lenses department dont answer the phone ever, it takes them on average a week to get back to you, and when they finally do , you cant have an appointment in a reasonable time because someone is on a vacation, someone has a day off, they dont have trial lenses in stock and it will take them 7-10 days to get them and blahhh, blahhh, blahhhh...excuses, excuses,excuses...three months later and i still dont have my lenses. They dont see anything wrong with this unprofessional attitude, which is unacceptable, and i will never go back there again.

The best Chris is so patient with me as Ive got young onset Parkinsons aka the Michael J.Fox disease and my vocal chords are paralyzed and Im very difficult to understand Id definitely recommend this place to anyone
