My parents both need help, both have mental disorders and addiction. This is the only free facility we can find to help them and they had to go in separately before being separated for a year at a rehab, and this man came out while they were saying goodbye and made it a big deal that they were telling each other goodbye and made them make a decision to leave (without help which is their job so you think theyd care more about people) or come in immediately. He was being rude, inconsiderate,and pushy as if he didnt even care about people in these positions in their life and I understand some policies but he was almost completely uncaring for the situation. If you dont care about people dont have a job in the business of helping people. He really acted like an emotionless monster and its absurd that people could act that way

Was released Monday morning 🌄 brought me.back to loving myself and everyone in the back!! However today I went to get a copy of MY LAB 🧫 RESULTS AND WAS TOLD MEDICAL STAFF WASNT THERE TODAY ...... well that DID NOT SET WELL WITH MEREFUSING ME MY MEDICAL RECORDS IS ILLEGAL AND I WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH THE STATE AS MY OWN LAWYER PROSE thank you MICHELLE ❣️

The ladies there saved my life thank you so so much I would definitely recommend this program to anyone that is 100% serious about getting clean off drugs and alcohol or is in need of mental health the nurses waited on me hand and foot they went over and beyond what I expected this program and the staff are the best!!!!

A young friend was traumatized after getting out of there. The things he told me were very concerning.

Not my experience but a close relative. I would recommend this place for someone that really want the help. My family member was treated great and they also helped him set up an interview for continuing help. So if youre willing to help them help you this would be a great starting point.

Horrific!!!I wish we had read and heeded the reviews before we entered.They gave my family the run around, sending us to the hospital twice, after we were up for 36+hours trying to get HELP for our family member. Then we learned they had NO intention of accepting him into the program. He didnt have the criteria. Which I suppose translates into not enough money because he certainly needed HELP.As the other post states - run! Dont walk away from this facility!!!!!!

I got alot out of this program. The staff was great and so was the groups. I would recommend this place to anyone thats wants help dealing with depression and or drug abuse that wants help.

Please be ware of this place! They damaged our granddaughter severely. They would not listen to her mother, our daughter. They did not do a good evaluation of her mental readiness. They drugged her severely and she received very little real counseling. They did however teach her how to stand up for her rights, that she wasnt accountable to anyone but herself. It will take our family a long time to recover from the damage done by this very poorly run institution. Run, dont walk, away from this facility.

This is the only psychiatric inpatient mental hospital in Griffin.It has 12 beds.It is Walk-In only.If no bed is available you are transported to Wellstar Spaulding County Hospital to wait in ER for availability and admission.They are connected to McIntosh Trail Community Services Board for out patient follow up.Many medications they do not have therefore you may be placws on totally different meds than omes you are currently on.This is a stabilization unit.

Not My Experience But My Daughter, She Is 24 Went In For Anxiety And Depression I Can Say, Since She Have Been There She Has Not Been Happy At All, She Is 7 Months Pregnant I Dont Believe That The Facility Is Trained To Take Care Of A Pregnant Woman, All They Are Doing Is Keeping Her Drugged Up On All That Medicine Which They Dont Know If Its Affecting That Unborn Baby , , I Am Not Happy At All About The Situation That My Daughter And Grandchild Is In , I Do Believe That She Needs To Be Home So She Can Go Back To Her Doctors To Get The Proper Care For Herself And That Baby, I Pray And Hope That Nothing Happens To That Unborn Child While She Is In You All Care.
