My family and I love this gym. Something for everyone! It’s been a hot summer and the splash pad has been a total lifesaver especially being in an enclosed area with my toddler, we just feel safer.

Great facilities, I love the kids club, pool and the equipment! However, they do not seem to be enforcing any COVID protocols. Every time I am in the cardio or weights areas about half the people are not wearing masks. There are plenty of employees around but none seem to be encouraging members to keep their masks on...

Amazing club! Made for true health and fitness enthusiasts. Staff makes you feel like family. Chris was very thorough and helpful. Front desk is full of energy and is there to assist members and guests.

Good gym in general. Some of the time employees don’t clean things that well such as the ice tub which isn’t that cold most of the time. Worst part here is the people themselves, you come to the gym and all the weights are all over the place. It’s like walking into to a room where set 8 children are trying to complete a 1000 piece puzzle.

Employees and managers do not tell you the truth about their policies until after theyve been able to charge you. I purchased a year membership and was told if I moved, I would be refunded the money. Not true. I lost that money. I ended my membership early, but instead of closing my account they put it on hold so they could start charging me again months later. I cleaned out my locker and returned the key and a month later was charged AGAIN for the locker. Now, several more months later, they have charged me a membership fee AGAIN and now they tell me that membership termination has to be in writing. No one bothered to tell me that the 5 times Ive CANCELLED my membership in the last year. So if you give them your credit card. Expect to be billed repeated at their discretion and be told a lot of LIES to justify it.

Great gym, I cant think of anything I would even add to this gym its has everything, basketball, tennis, swimming, hot tub, outside pool, all weights, inversion table, day care.

Great gym. But my car got broken into and no one did anything about it. The staff had me look at video footage but we couldnt see license plate. I asked what else we could do and they basically said there was nothing they could do. Theyve had multiple(lots) of car breakins and I dont feel safe parking my car there anymore because the breakin happened in broad daylight. They need better cameras and security. I am truly disappointed In how they handled the situation. If I had known about breaks ins I would have parked my car closed to the front door. BE CAREFUL WHERE U PARK YOUR CAR.

Front desk staff (Grace) was rude and acted like signing up my daughter for swim lessons was a real hassle for her. She told me I need you to sit down over there. I already have 2 phone calls waiting. And I need you to move over there. As someone who worked in customer service for over 20 years, there are a multitude of other ways to speak to a customer without making them feel like theyre ruining your day just by being there. Her attitude towards me got even worse when she asked if I was a member (no) and if I have any association with CAC (my sister owns the physical therapy clinic inside the club, but I didnt bother bringing it up). I had intended on inquiring about a membership for my family of 5, but if thats the kind of staff they have attending to potential new members, well take our money elsewhere.

Great place! I am proud to support a business that is taking a stand against the dictatorship.

Front desk people are rude and there have been multiple complaints. It is not nice to be treated poorly when you are paying for a service. I hope management starts paying attention to the multiple reviews of Front Desk. Upper gym does not have wheelchair access so if you use a walker or wheel chair, you won’t be able to use the upper level gym unfortunately.

Nice waterpark! Hard to believe that there was no lifeguard on duty even with all those kids.

The club is clean and spacious. They opened at 4.30 am, so I was able to come in for a quick workout then headed to work on time.

This athletic club is really nice, theres a smoothie bar, pool, saunas, various sport courts, various classes, hot tubs, and so much more. They are reasonably priced and they are great about keeping things clean.

Love this place....be a whole lot better once things go back to normal though!

Swimming pool seems great, saw it but never tried it out, but all of the workout equipment is upstairs with no elevator. Going there to help strengthen my legs so I can soon walk up stairs again just wont work.

This place offers something for our entire family.

We just recently joined - but so far we LOVE it! This was the ONLY gym close to us that had anything fun for our almost 8yr old to do. During family gym hours we can play racquetball, basketball, use the pool, etc. They also have an AMAZING kids gym at night from 4-7PM. The kids club is also wonderful - not just a room with a few toys. The classes are amazing, and all the equipment is brand new (at least that is how it appears). I am so happy we looked at several gyms - sometimes it is worth the extra money to go somewhere that has so much to offer. Cant wait until this summer with the water park!

Great pickleball courts

Extremely family friendly club, with amenities not available at other locations. I love having a reserved locker, large locker rooms with TVs and the ability to work out in a safe and welcoming environment.There is a very positive gym culture and my kids love coming in for family time, as well as the ability for my older one to work out with me, which many clubs don’t allow. I anticipate having great fun with the summer outside water space.I’ve also really enjoyed working with one of their trainers, Tommy, who is stellar and invested in my success. I believe he’s an example of what their staff exemplifies.In my experience with other gyms/clubs, I’ve never felt as welcome and had as many great conversations with other members and staff as at Cascade.

Love the lap pool!

We joined about 8 months ago. They have been helpful and so polite. We have a grand child visit in the summer and are easily able to add her while she is here and take her off with a very reasonable fee. Our two youngest children love the water park and have never cried being dropped off at the daycare. The swim instructors are great with children and patience. They have come along so well in their lessons. The cost for the family is well worth it.

Not very wheelchair accessible! My insurance only pays for the weight room, which is upstairs, with NO wheelchair access!It will cost me to use the accessible pool... NOT accessible!

This place is awesome. They offer quality services. Recently, people seem to be giving one star ratings because the gym opened its doors, mind you gyms in every county except Multnomah has been and still is open. If the spike in new cases was bad, the whole state should have been shut down. Ill donate to this gym should the state try to fine it.

Has lots of workout options. Always equipment available. And has hot and cold for fast recovery

Really good place for whole family

So so chiill hereI Ive been to quite a few clubs and Id have to say this is the best one I have been to over all it has everything my favorite the steam room and everything is new and updated check it out for yourself must say Im very impressed with this place I was quite shocked how long its been there and how big it was and I recently only just seen it LOL and I thought Ive been everywhere in Portland really decent prices new equipment nice people and even during their busiest times the place is pretty much free to yourself sometimes the only thing I didnt really think about was on the inside where the pool is people like to take their little kids and let them play in the hot tub which Im not too very fond of what Im trying to relax and kids are screaming thats why I go there to get away from that and relax then I guess a little bit older crowd of kids maybe around 10 11 12 13 something like that they were the next young kids in there and they were talking with some of the dirtiest mouth Ive ever probably heard ever and their parents were sitting just right there their parents were putting a blind eye to it and then got up and left their kids there to bother everyone there and if I was to add one more negative or bad thing which there isnt many at all but theres so many good things I dont even have enough room for that so I highly recommend this place but there is this box next to the showers where you take your shorts and swimsuit put it in there its been to clean really nice and cool and great well come to find out if youre in one of the six hours right at that spot youre the one that gets all the dirty water from the purses swimwear right to your feet in your shower stall how convenient you think it would even go anywhere near there I can believe it even a guy that has been there for many many years who work there didnt know it was like that I pointed it out to himYou thinking about joining I would highly recommend its a really great deal I think Im paying around 60 something dollars per month with no contract if anybodys feeling generous go ahead and tell them that (Charlie C. 1983) Gave you a recommendation and they will give me a little Point bonus I would more than appreciate that thank you so much for reading my review and dont forget my name its really easy all you got to do is just tell him and theyll write it and I get some points for doing the review and u signing up! This place is older but I just love it. They just upgraded the machines and fixed up the pool. But the thing I like the best is the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Definitely not a meat head gym or a meat market. Great family place.

Gym is never crowded, staff is great. They have all the equipment you would need and unlike other Gyms they are attentive to fixing any problems with equipment. Need advice on a good stretch for a muscle cramp - just ask - they help you on the spot!Also the place is kept clean so you can focus on doing you!

I love this gym. Been going here for about 8 years and havent had any issues at all. The free classes are the best perk about this gym. The staff is always super helpful and friendly as well which is a plus. The outside pool area during the summer is perfect for kids also. My son loves it!

Dont go to this money hungry gym! The employees are rude and talk down about you when they think you are not around. I visited this gym from Vancouver where I am a member of Cascade Athletic Club. When arriving I was informed I have to pay a daily fee, even though my gym had stated that it should be free but they said i was lucky the outdoor pool wasnt open or it would be more (lucky me). I asked for a tour and the girl at the front just pointed from where she stood guys gym down there... weights up there ...pool through the locker room... I wondered around aimlessly through hallways and different rooms until I found a locker room which has no lockers for use (maybe 20 to choose from) only ones to rent (200 easy)... walked pass a tanning room on my way to the pool and it said call desk to activate so I did it... after a couple minutes someone came down and said I didnt sign a book at the front and I had to pay to use it... pool was packed as well as everything else so I decided to hit the weights, when I walked up to the stairs I herd the employees making fun of me and bad mouthing the guy who tried to use the tanning booth... I turned around got changed and left... I will never go here again and will tell everyone I know the same!

Clean and well equipped club. Friendly staff and members. I appreciate the many classes and activities they offer. Pickleball meets 3 times a week. Great group of people! They have a comfortable atmosphere where all are welcome and have a place. All abilities are welcome.

This is a really great place to bring your kids in the summer. My kids loved their splash pad and they have different areas for them to play based on their age. I was super impressed by the variety and quality of the food coming out of the snack bar!

I love the central location and that my whole family can enjoy the gym and activities throughout the year. Having my 6, 13 and 14 year old boys enjoy family time here is priceless. Thank you Cascade Athletic Club.

Great club with lots of great people

Started going here with my family a couple months ago. Kids really enjoy the kids Club, and us adults enjoy working out. The staff seems to care about making it a place that is a good and comfortable place to go. We just signed up with Quincy for personal training and he is awesome. He seems to know what he is talking about and genuinely wants to help us improve. Enjoying it!

Well run facility with something for everyone.

Clean, good people, wonderful classes. Lots of equipment, usually in good working condition. I just wish I could change channels on a TV. Its all news or sports, in which I am uninterested.

Mid mornings are here is great. Lots of seniors working out here and the tennis courts are mostly busy. The workout room is not very busy at this time and any machine you might want is available. I’ll even had the whole swimming pool to myself more then a few times but that a secret. Don’t tell anyone. Staff here are very nice and there is lots of parking.

I love this gym in Gresham and have to say its not just because of the excellent staff. They try to keep things super clean and I was even told they have a cleaning service that comes every night. I see the female customer service staff in the womens restroom all the time cleaning windows/mirrors wiping down handles and replacing amenities etc. Every time there is an issue of something that has been broken or needs something updated or replaced, I have noticed, theyre always super quick to have it serviced and back in order. In the six months Ive been here the womens hot tub has been serviced and repaired, the wet community sauna and spa have both needed service and within days were back in order. With as many people coming in and out of this place I can imagine things get used quite a bit so for them to be repaired and back in order as quickly as they are has been impressive.

I have been a member for a few months now. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Love the variety of classes and love that my 10 year old daughter can also participate in the classes. No other club that I know of is so family friendly!

Just became a member ! But, so far we love this place . So many amenities, staff is great, tuns of group activities and group sports. Outdoor water park is amazing during the summer. Good for the whole family but also segregated times so its not always overrun with kids 👍

Ive been a member for 13 years. I love being a part of CAC. Working out is not just about exercise, it is about community and the people at the classes I go to. We keep each other motivated to stay in shape and form friendships at the same time.

What a wonderful place to go with your family and friends. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere could not be better, and the family time is great. Love playing tennis here and the swim lessons for the kids are the best. In the summer the outdoor pool has become a weekend fixture for the family.

Joined this Cascade about a week ago and am LOVING it. I can easily stay for 3 hours! You can play racquetball without a reservation and if you dont own a racquet, just leave an ID at the desk and you are good to go! Ive been in at all different times and the weight room is never busy-YAY. Everyone Ive spoken to so far has been super helpful and nice. The locker room, showers, sauna are always clean! So far, its great! Cant wait for the outdoor pool to open! The only thing I am not a huge fan of is the price BUT its worth it. We have so much to take advantage of and we DO! Love it. Ill update after weve been coming for awhile :)

Love this gym! I feel like I am at a resort when there. Great kids programs. The outside water park is amazing. I have not meant one person that was not kind.

Very large facility in Gresham offers a wide variety of workout options and classes. Locker rooms are huge and equipped with sauna, hot tub, showers, lockers, scales, hair dryers and bathrooms. Group classes go all day so it’s convenient to work out before or after work. Lots of machines so there’s little to no waiting. Staff is great!

Very great gym! I love working out here and have already lost a couple pounds. They have so much more to do here than just a typical gym. Its a quality place and they are super nice. 10/10

Lots of great amenities, but the place could use a good ol deep cleaning. The pool is just nasty here, I would like to see them update it. 60 plus dollars a month, comes with a risk of a bacterial infection. There are lots of better options in the area. (By better I mean sanitary and affordable.)

Good gyms but not great.I believe what helps make a great gym and even a great business is to be locally owned. Simple. Being in touch with your community and networking within that community (big or small) helps you understand what your customers wants and needs are.I recently moved to Gresham and hopped online to see what gyms where in my area. I called around to the 3 big franchise gyms and all they wanted to do was sell sell sell over the phone. I then called Cascade Athletic Club in Gresham and spoke with Chris Hart who the Membership Director. I was very pleased. I mentioned I would be in within an hour or two.He first sat down with me and we discussed what the gym has to offer. I was a little shocked when I saw $65 per month. It wasnt until after the tour I complete understood; mens sauna, cold plunge (tub), jacuzzi in mens locker room, plenty of open lockers, not to mention extremely clean, co-Ed steam room, salt water pool, small indoor track, free yoga classes, new spin bike, a lounge, healthy foods bar, and crisp cold drinking fountains everywhere, a must need. Along with the tour around the gym he shinned some light on the owners, who own and operate the 4 gyms in the surrounding Portland area. He mentioned they stop in frequently as well! Its always a plus when you know the staff and they know you! I love when the staff members dont have to try or go the extra mile to build a relationship. Its natural here and its shown. Hats off to the owners, the entire staff and Chris at the Cascade Athletic Club in Gresham. I plan on being a long term member. Great family gym with dedicated staff!

Love this gym! It has everything I need to get a great workout in and also relax! My kids love to go, especially my 7 year old who goes to their kidfit class every week, while mom enjoys some me time. The staff is great as well, super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

BEWARE! They allow Optavia Weight Loss food distributors to market in their facilities. They dont tell you that Optavia is a MLM scheme and that they are making money off you when you sign up to lose weight. They dont tell you that their Health Coaches are simply the distributors and know nothing more about health and Optavia than you do. They will try to sell you the food bundles (if you can call this stuff food) for nearly $400! Its scammy! and Im so very disappointed that CAC owners allow these people to set up shop in their clubs!

The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The layout is great. They have plenty of good classes. There are always updates on the building and equipment. They even have social events. They provide lots of motivation to be healthy.

Awesome place to work out. They have created a club atmosphere that makes you feel special. The free classes are a great way to get a work out in.

We love CAC. The staff are friendly. They make it a point to remember your name and greet you at each visit and upon your departure. Clean club. The personal trainers are there for you even during non-training times.

Due to work I was unable to continue going to this gym and ended up cancelling my membership. There was a little miscommunication with whether I would owe additional money. Long story short, when I sat down with the managers and spoke to them about this issue, they were every polite and courteous. We came to an amenable agreement and the manager was very understanding. Great costumer service and solid facilities. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

This is the most quality, service friendly and healthy lifestyle center in Portland. Made by Oregon natives and always perfecting the art of personal health. Wonderful facility.

My son and I recently joined the CAC and we love it. He enjoys the kids zone and making new friends (the girls who work in there are great with all the kids). I love that I get a little me time and I know my son is in good hands. We enjoy a delicious smoothie after almost every workout. The folks there both members and employees are so nice. The other night my son wanted to watch a racquetball game and he cheered them on - when they were finished he greeted them with good job and they gifted him their game ball. There is so much there we have yet to check out/utilize and we are both excited to do so. He especially loves the pool... he cannot wait to join swim lessons.The facility is clean, more then enough equipment for everyone - even at the busiest of times. I dont feel crowded or watched..We found a nice community and I am excited for our family to spend many many years there! Thanks you CAC for being so great! :)

Great atmosphere, very clean and the staff is always helpful. I think its the best club around. Its a little expensive but well worth it.

Me and my family have been going here for over a year now. there is so many fun activities for us and the family. I reccomend this club to everyone.

This place is nice I really love the locker room hot tub and sauna but as for the Gresham location there are mostly older people and not much diversity like you can see in other gyms. Other than that its pretty perfect.

This gym is very nice. Has everything you would need in a nicely equipped gym. One of the few gyms I know of that have a cold tub, use after the hot tub for a good muscle pain cure

Great place for getting your workout in. Well kept facilities that even includes racquetball and tennis, and even has a care area for the little ones that my kids have definitely enjoyed. And, of course, the pool is awesome in the summer.
