My father in law stayed here for a month after recovering from his surgery. The entire family had a good experience. The community was located close to all of us siblings and we especially liked how it was within walking distance of the hospital! The staff is kind. Its an older place but everyone is so friendly and it has a warm feeling. If permanent placement is needed we will go back for sure

This place is a joke. The staff sleeps on the job, steals narcotics from residents with Alzheimers/Dementia, the med aids do not follow the residents MARS or care plan, nor do the med aids follow the medication schedule or scehduel by doctors, the facility always is a disgusting mess, its unsanitary, the residents rooms DO NOT get cleaned at all (i scraped poop and food off walls in a room that had been there for almost a month), the whole staff is full of lies and lie to family members about there job duties they constantly neglect and refuse to do, management is worse. Good luck tryi,g to get something fixed or repaired in a residents room because the maintenance person is lazy as hell (took us over 2months to get an a.c. fixed and they only fixed it because we were going to pay to get it fixed then give brookdale the receipt to reimburse us, mind you this was in the hottest months of summer). The rooms are left with dishes from the facility for 3weeks at a time with molded food in the rooms as well. They manhandle the residents. This facility needs to be shut down. Theyve changed management numerous times, yet it only gets worse. IF YOU VALUE AND LOVE YOUR LOVED ONES DO NOT PUT THEM IN THIS FACILITY, IT IS THE WORST CARE HOME IN THE STATE OF OREGON.

Great location and the participation of the residents in the activities was refreshing to see.
