I had my first visit at Blossom Gynecology last week. I read several reviews some good, some bad but, I wanted to experience it for myself. Dr. Chorness was absolutely amazing! She was very warm, understanding, and straightforward, which is exactly what I am looking for in a physician. She took the time to get to know me, my appointment was not rushed and I was able to ask as many questions as I liked. She understood the type of treatment that I needed. She even repeated back to me my expectations. This was by far the best Gynecology appointment ever! I would without question recommend Dr. Chorness and Blossom Gynecology to all my friends.

Don’t go. I regret ever walking into this place. They are horrible.

Dr. Chorness is a brilliant physician that thinks outside the box. She treats every patient knowing that they do not fit in a text book and treats their individual issues. She is wonderful and it is always a pleasure to see her. I feel that she has gone above and beyond for me and I appreciate her.

Dr. Chorness is very professional and compassionate. I have been highly satisfied with my care. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and has even called me 3 times at home to follow up personally. I cant say enough nice things about this practice and the kind personnel.

I was not going to write a review and just keep to myself but after receiving an official dismissal from the practice, I would like to let people know to just go somewhere else. It took weeks upon weeks to get an ultrasound scheduled and while waiting (and not hearing back for 5+ days) I called my family doctor and got an ultrasound the next day. Blossom finally got an ultrasound scheduled for me but by this time, I didnt need one, so I canceled it and then was dismissed from the practice...the letter stated that I wasnt following her medical advice...I was the one that requested the ultrasound, it was not a recommendation from the doctor.

I am very grateful for the talented care of Dr. Chorness. She is direct but compassionate. She is highly skilled and explains everything thoroughly. Her staff is kind and professional. The entire office is sparkling clean and they work with you through each step of insurance and billing.

I have been a patient here for over 10 years. I originally became a patient due to my healthcare provider, but stayed out of convenience. The office atmosphere is very cold and uninviting. They are more focused on cosmetics now than gynecology, offering Botox and Bubbly and facials. Dr. Chorness made me cry while giving me an exam after learning my partner and I had ended things. She is very insincere, repeating back facts she has you write in your file to make you feel like shes trying. Wait times are always long, despite being the only patient there. I highly recommend finding a different doctor for your needs.

From first call the office staff was amazing, felt like I had been going to them forever. Dr walked me to her we talked she asked a lot of questions, showed me to the room. Took time to explain everything. Was kind and understand. She was recommended by a friend and now I recommend her to you all.

I absolutely love Dr.Chorness. Ive been seeing her for about 9 years. I have always been nervous about going to the obgyn until I discovered her practice. She never rushes me and explains things thoroughly. Her staff is nice and office is calming. She delivered my daughter 6 years ago and I am so grateful to be under her care!!

Had an 8:30 appointment which I had arranged child care coverage to attend. Received a confirmation text which I responded and confirmed the appointment. Entered the office (which was unlocked) and sat and waited for 45 minutes. No one was there. Left after 45 min. I left a note at the receptionist desk stating how unprofessional I thought they were. Did not receive a call back to explain, reschedule, absolute radio silence. Beware - choose a real practice. This is the most incompetent dr’s office I have ever been to.

This wonderful Doctor and woman saved my life and my sons. She delivered two of my baby’s and also performed my hysterectomy. She truly walked with me through one of the most difficult times in my life. She is very knowledgeable in many ways. My third son passed away and when I went back to see her and told her what happened, she cried with me and held my hand. She cares about you as a person not just a patient. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Dr. Chorness . All these bad reviews just don’t make sense to me ... She is professional , caring, and kind.

Dr. Chorness has been my doctor for 20 years, she delivered one of my grandchildren. I have recommended her to several of my friends and they all love her. Very caring and patient. She will sit and listen to anything you have to say. Doesnt rush thru your appointment. I will continue to go to her until she retires.

My wife had battled endometriosis for years. It started in her teens. She was almost 40 when she found Dr. Choreness and within a year she was pain free! She had to have a hysterectomy in 2015 and the Dr was there every step of the way and never left me out of the loop. Her bedside manner is unbelievable and she is completely committed and involved in my wife’s care. My wife actually enjoys seeing all of the staff at Blossom and I am happy that she has been able to find such good people.

Dr. Chorness was my GYN from 1995-2010, and she still would be, except that Ive moved to another state now. Dr. Chorness integrity and commitment to her practice and to me as a patient were always outstanding. I occasionally had to reschedule an appointment when she was at the hospital delivering a baby. :-) Ive recommended her highly to friends over the years and still would. I had to call today for medical records and was greeted pleasantly and assisted in a timely manner.

Please save yourself time and money and do not go here!!! They did not process my insurance info, charged me enormous amount for the regular annual visit just to get my birth control pills, NEVER contacted me once, and filed collections on my balance!!! Ridiculous and wrong!!!! I’d never recommend this place to anyone

The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt like a valued patient from check in to check out. I highly recommend Dr. Chorness! Despite being very busy she took her time to listen to my concerns and I never felt rushed or ignored.

If you aren’t a “perfect weight” don’t go here. I had lost ~40 lbs on my own and was seeing her for fertility issues. I had just lost 1 1/2 lbs between visits when she told me that if I wanted to get pregnant I needed to be serious about my weight loss and tried to push me into buying expensive supplements and using their nutrition service. I was doing weight watchers and working out at the YMCA 4-5 times a week.Extremely demoralizing and unprofessional.

Actually this by far is one of the worse dr visits I’ve ever experienced. She didn’t examine me just told me i was fat and needed a bypass no questions. Really really rude

Dr. Chorness is great, but I will agree with the complaints about the long waits & her office staff, particularly at the front desk. They are unprofessional, at best. I put up with the inconvenience because I really do like Dr. C. For me it is worth it as she is one of the few OB/GYNs in the area that supports bioidentical hormone therapy and is open to alternative medicine.

Office staff is rude and uncaring! They clearly have no concept of clientele and basic human respect. The rating of this office is dismally low on this site as well as all other medical rating sites I have checked, and for good reason. Find a different doctor; If the staff is rude, clearly the doctor sets the tempo.

She had me suffer through over 72 hours of pitocin induced hypertonic labor while my doctor - who had scheduled a c-section for me - was out of town. She administered medications against my direct orders, had her nursing staff refuse to tell me what they were putting in my IV, sent my husband home and my sister so I had no one there to advocate for me. She nearly killed both me and my son. She was REMOVED from the OR while performing my emergency c-section by another surgeon. I now suffer from chronic pitocin overdose induced PVCs and have had two ablations to correct them. I am scheduled for a third. I also now suffer from PTSD thanks to the treatment of this woman.

Dr. Chorness is one of the rudest, most degrading physicians I have ever come in contact with. Stay very far away.

I chose this doctor bc of her willingness to support a VBAC. She had incredibly long waits in the office every appointment. I tried afternoons and first thing in the morning. It did not matter. When I was there early, she showed up late. She did not manage her time well. Then for my c-section after the vbac did not work, she brought in a second doctor in training and spent over an hour sewing me up due to talking excessively. The nurses were scared and the anesthesiologist had to put me to sleep so I didnt get nauseous during the procedure, which would have led to choking. Then the day before my release, she came by and guaranteed she would return at noon the next day. The nurses tried to get her to sign my release paperwork, just in case, but she refused. I called her office all day from noon until 5 pm and she did not come back to the hospital until 630 pm at night. She refused to allow another doctor to release me and did not apologize. Her treatment of patients is rude and unprofessional. I do not trust her and am thankful that my daughter did not suffer as a result of her lack of interest in my well being. I would strongly advise against her. She also allowed my friend to try a VBAC and then she ruptured during the procedure. She is not to be trusted.

Dr Chorness is wonderful !! I honestly dont know why the bad reviews. She found my daughters cancer, while a high rated Dr didnt care and didnt want to see her for 6 months. Dr Chorness gets a A+ in my book
