I have really come to appreciate Eastside Family Therapy. The therapist I have worked with on many cases, Kristine, exhibits only the highest level of integrity. Her services are helpful, insightful, instructional and carefully catered to each situation and specific client need, all based on years of experience with families. She listens carefully and strives to understand and solve issues and conditions for children and adults. She is a gifted therapist called to help our community.

As a counselor myself, I know how a positive counseling relationship can impact someones life for the better. My personal experience with my counselor at Eastside has been wonderful. Not only did my counselor create a safe atmosphere in which to share, but she has effectively challenged my thinking in areas where I may have blind spots. She is not only kind and compassionate, but professional in all of our interactions. In my own practice, I have referred couples to Eastside for marriage counseling. I have found the therapists at Eastside to be highly trained and very easy to work with in joint counseling efforts. I first met Karen Strange at Westgate Family Therapy in Spartanburg, SC. At the time I met her I was a wreck. I suffered from PTSD and so so many other issues. It took me years to get so messed up and took years to get to a happy place. I must tell you she was instrumental in helping me get over issues that no one should ever have to face. I cant say enough good about Karen. For the first time in my life I know what love is and Im here to say I finally love life and Im over 50. The anger I held for too many years was wearing me out. Im not the man I once was. Im far better! If you are willing to put aside preconceptions about therapists then give Karen a call. Thank you Karen for all that you did for me.
