We stayed at this campground from 9/9 to when we left on 9/12/2021 to judge at an Antique Automobile Club of America event in Greenville. This is one of the best maintained RV parks we have ever stayed in. And definitely quiet as far as other campers. There were some trains that went through but we are used to that where we live so it didnt bother is. The lots are nice and wide and with plenty of clean gravel. And pretty level which is fairly rare. They have a nice dog park area. The only reason I am not giving them five stars is there isnt any bath room/shower/laundry facility at all. So you better be able to use the bathroom in your camper.

This place is the perfect getaway. Very quiet, clean, secure and very well kept. The owners are great people and a pleasure to work with. Granted the only amenities are wifi but for just my husband and myself that’s plenty. Wouldn’t recommend for families or children as there’s not much for the kiddos to do but adult getaway is perfect!

You wont find as much grass as their website shows. Their price was fair and aside from the regular trains passing by it was relatively quiet. The management was great.

Great management. Well kept grounds. Super quite neighbors. Only thing you have to get used to is being right beside the train tracks. Wifi isn’t super reliable...

Extremely close to railroad tracks. Had three trains come through overnight. Otherwise quiet. Our electric hookup was so far from our camper, it took every bit of the 25’ cord plus surge protector to connect. Found it odd that the property manager took a bunch of pictures of our site after we got it parked.

Located in the middle of nowhere with absolutely no shade, next to the inland port railway tracks, with trains flying through all night/day. The manager seems to have a superiority complex as he likes to call/text daily for no reason, almost to the point of harassment. If you have a choice, do not choose this park

Very clean bright RV park that we chose over other larger parks for its convenient location and well designed layout. We like the sense of peaceful treed countryside and uncrowded sites. The congenial owner who makes the decisions and advises on site choice has firm rules to keep the park safe and pleasant for residents. The prices are competitive prices and policies very livable. It was quick and easy to get approved and apply. The well spoken manager who was trimming his spotless patch of lawn around his RV when we arrived was informative about the layout and sites and answered our questions about the park and procedures, deferring to the owner for pricing and decisions. He gave a sense of industry and privacy as he quietly attended to his duties while watching us drive around the park, knowledgably answering our questions about the area without hovering or in too much talk. The owner assured us the manager kept a safe and peaceful camp. We look forward to a comfortable few months stay.

This a class type RV park no slackers here it is run right by management not to let people run in and out and they must adhere to the set of rules or will be asked to leave a great place to stay if you want a clean safe place to stay

All lots are gravel, which is a plus. No complaints with the others staying at the RV park, everyone is friendly. There is a train track on the backside that stays busy, you will hear the horn as the trains pass through. Didnt bother me hearing the trains. Advice from experience, make sure you read the contract you sign when staying there. You will not receive any refund on your monthly payment if for any reason you need to leave the RV park. Not satisfied with that rule, as things do come up that you cant control that may result in leaving at anytime. Owner should be more understanding with these situations. Kindness is never forgotten and means a lot to everyone!

I was told to come to the 290 RV park by the owners . I was batter and brused. I had broktup with my boyfriend whom had put hands on me. I needed a safe place to park my camper. When I got there it was starting to rain. The manager ask me to wait for the rain to pass so I could set up the camper. He then went inside his own camper. A few minutes later he came to tell me to leave that he had called the police and if I didnt leave I would be arrested for trust passing. I tried to find out why I was being told to leave after I was told to come on by the owners no one would help me. I pray that the owners wife, daughter, sister, mother never needs help from a stranger . I was scared hurt and in the middle of a thunderstorm and these guys were rude to me. I drove 45 miles to get there just to turned out as soon as I got there.

This is a well run, clean and safe parkWe stayed for several months and the owners are very involved with keeping the park clean and ensuring their guests have a good experience. It is conveniently located to everything. Dining, shopping, hiking, anything and everything you could wish for. It is heads above other parks in the area and we would recommend it highly.😊

Small park and friendly. No bathrooms or showers but good hookups. Be very careful turning in, especially at night, as entrance in narrow and rough. Trains do go by regularly and blow horns, but otherwise quiet.

$450 00 a month plus $150.00 deposit power .You will get a VERY LOUD TRAIN that will come by every 15 mins all through the night no sleep at all ! No walking trail no fire pits no activities. However grounds are kept clean. So I say way to expensive for nothing!

We stayed a week and that was 7 days too long, if you want to sleep at night. Trains will go by every 15 -30 minutes at night usually starting about 11:30pm screeching and blowing its horn (Durning the day also ) We asked about the trains and he said sometimes they come by alot and sometimes not at all, he could have been honest and said all night long. Most sites were all gravel and slightly uneven. The park manager was nice , and the park was quite (except for trains) no bathrooms, showers, laundry on site, for $245 a week its high for what you get. I really dont see how they are getting 5 star reviews .. lol ..

Noise from train every 20 min. They charged us 500 for rv space when everyone else paid much less. After 2 weeks we were asked to leave because I was playing music for my kids in the daytime. Instead of coming over and telling us to turn it down they came with attitude and then called the police. I don’t recommend this place especially with the train noise at night.

Only reason this place gets 4 stars instead if 5 is because its right next to a train track. You get used to the sounds but it Def is noisy. I think they may be overcharging for electricity and they may find a way to hold on to your deposit.
