They refuse to take federal workers compensation because they want the patients caseworker, who deals with 55 states and territories, to call them directly to give approval to treat, rather than their office go to the OWCP provided ecomp website where all they have to do is enter the patients file number and date of injury to automatically receive approval or denial. With Greenwoods proximity to Camp Atterbury and Stout Field, two places FULL of Federal Technicians, one would think theyd want to help...but no. Too lazy to go to a website. Boo.

I have seen Dr. Gordon for about a year now. Hands down he is the best doctor Ive seen. He is kind, compassionate and a wonderful listener. I never worry about my health knowing its in his hands. I am truly grateful to have his as my pain doctor. Before I became his patient, my quality of life had declined severely. I wasnt able to enjoy time outdoors, spend time with my kids or even hug them because of my pain level. Now I enjoy my family time and other activities I could not do before. I cant say thank you enough! ❤

Visiting because of Medicaid, the nurses and support staff are very kind, but limited in their ability to make decisions that arent government guidelines.Dr Kim seemed to be more interested in getting me in and out of their pain management mill. When I tried communicating with Dr Kim, he flat out called me an addict and that seemed to jade each conversation weve had.Ive got missing digits, herniated discs, one leg shorter than the other, a cleft palate, and other various birth defects. Ive had 17 surgeries in my lifetime. Ive also had cancer.. Im in pain every moment of my life and have now had to quit my job and my private insurance because of my constant pain and the crackdown on opioids. To be called an addict and dropped from 30 mg to 10 mg and drastically having my supply cut forced me to get out of the workforce.Im unsure if their hands are tied or if they think that me being unemployed and having to try and rest every 3 hours because of my constant pain is somehow purifying, but my quality of life has gone from working 40 hours per week and having a normal life to now being in constant pain and unemployed. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is for the kindness of the nurse Sipes and front staff.

I certainly hope my negative experience at the Greenwood location is an isolated incident. I waited over 45 minutes in the exam room for Dr. Kim. He was running behind schedule. I totally understand this happens and it’s out of our control. Dr Kim rushed in and out so quickly I didn’t have the opportunity to ask any questions or address my concerns. I’m not exaggerating at all that he was in and out in less than sixty seconds. He was out of sight before I could say, thank you or extend my hand to shake his hand to thank him for his time. Keep in mind this was only my second visit to this practice. After driving over an hour and a half one way, I wasn’t pleased at the outcome. I was more of an inconvenience. I voiced my concerns to the practice. Apparently my concerns are unimportant...Please know I hope this was an isolated incident. I was told Dr Kim was sorry and wanted to speak to me, but he never reached out to me after two weeks. Because of this poor patient care, I decided not to return for procedure(s). My excruciating pain and discomfort remains intolerable. This type of patient care is unacceptable. I’m sure Dr Kim is an excellent, caring physician. This visit and experience was just unfair and wrong to me in so many ways. Thoroughly disappointed!

I went here for over 5 years always had no problems on a routine visit I was told my urine test came back with cocaine which is absolutely a joke just a month ago I had to sit with my grandson on life support and watch him pass from this horrible substance and they all knew this and I was being released from their office Dr Kim nor Susan would see me i was told this by the nurse was sent on my way no referral numbers no medication they had the nerve to charge me for an office visit when I had no visit with a Dr or NP Dr Kim is not personable he always came in my room and say all ok and back out the door. It was A month before I could get in to another facility so I felt like I was dying ....these people are not whom they appear to be at first they dont care about the patients its suppose to be a 15 min visit they charge to insurance companies in reality they spend if you are lucky 8 min with Susan and if its Dr Kim its 2 sec I would never refer anyone here

I was referred to Center for Pain Management after seeing a spinal surgeon due to osteoarthritis in my spine. I feel I have always been treated well and with care. Dr. Kim and his staff have always worked to make me feel comfortable and cared for. I always feel my concerns are listened to and my questions answered. I am glad to have their help and I have had a really good experience. Thank you Dr. Kim and all of your staff at the South and Northside Office.

Ive been to a couple of pain management practices and this one is by far the best Ive ever had any experience with. Its run just like any other medical clinic or doctors office.Ive been to some pain clinics before that have not one hint of professional or medical environment to them, save for the request for insurance card and the stethoscope around a doctors neck. Other than that one would never even know it was a medical office at all. I try to stay far from those places as they paint a poor image of the entire specialty and the patients of such. This practice also does not push its patients to accept treatment that isnt helpful in my experience. A broad range of treatments is avaliable and depending on ones needs and diagnosis, the treatments may differ from one person to another, but I am not pressured to accept any treatment that isnt helpful. Other places may insist that patients agree to taking unhelpful medication or injections to then receive helpful treatments or medications. This practice does not operate that way. And while I do have to agree to tests to prove that I am taking my medications as prescribed, I understand that is not the fault of this practice, but to protect the doctors from the ever present threat of legal troubles for merely practicing medicine these days. Not only are the doctors open and caring, taking the time to listen to me, but the nursing staff and even the folks at the front desk are also very kind and not the least bit judgemental. People these days can quite quickly jump to assumptions about pain patients, and that is not at all tolerated in this office. The patients are treated with respect and understanding. Its a welcome refuge really.

Ive been to several different pain clinics and this is the best by far! After being a patient for over a year, Ive not found a single employee who took out their bad day on me! I have had ongoing issues with this office. If I could give zero stars, I would. First off, this office is unprofessional. The nurses and staff are incredibly rude and talk about things at work that should be discussed in a break room. They do not care if you hear their conversations. Also, I was supposed to have a procedure set up. I never got a phone call from the office telling me that this had been set up. The hospital called and said asked if I was ready for the procedure the NEXT DAY! I had to frantically plan what to do with my family and be prepared and take the time off from work. I called their southside office to verify that everything was good to go with my insurance. They said yes, but they would check again. They checked and said I was good to go. The next day, 30 minutes before I was supposed to be picked up and taken to my procedure, the office called and said that my insurance had declined this. Now, I know this has something to do with the insurance as well, but they had verified and said everything was good. Not to mention that 3 months prior, I had a procedure done, that NO ONE CALLED MY INSURANCE to verify was covered. They ended up taking the hit saying that I wouldnt be penalized for their error. This is only one story of many. I have waited in the office for an hour and a half, because of issues. Just recently, I had to go to the ER for a medical issue. The doctor told me that I have no called/ no showed 13 appointments. I told him that this was incorrect because I had NEVER missed an appointment, but his office had called me and asked me to change the appointment so that they could get out early. I dont blame the doctor, because he doesnt know anything that is happening in the office. I blame the office manager and the rude staff. Honestly, this place is a joke.

I am pleased with my overall experiences with CPM. My first visit on 10/4/20 went well. Dr. Kim is very serious about his work. If youre looking for a Dr. who sugar-coats anything forget it. He will tell you what he thinks right out of the box. He will suggest treatments for you but it is up to you to do what he suggests. Dr. Kim is really dedicated to his patients. I havent been going there long and through the fault of my own I got off to a rough start. I found out very quickly that Dr. Kim wont put up with any kind of foolishness. He is right for me and what I need is someone just like him to see me through any and all pain remedies. I have had one test injection and need two more but based on the first one it looks like I might be a candidate for a long-term injection which will help with my lower back arthritis.Anyway, CPM is right for me, Dr. Kim is right for me he is just what I need now. I like his approach, I like his firmness, I need to keep getting my care here. The girls in the office are very professional but still are human. They will chat with you or just listen, they are great!!!!!Thanks to all of you at Greenwood CPM, love yas!!

After the office manager convinced me to give Dr. Kim another chance over the phone, I had a second horrible experience. The first one I think was just from how busy they are with the overflow of patients due to laws changing. but the Doctor Did not scan the part of my back that was actually injured and I had talked to mutliple doctors under the assumption that we were talking about a different part of my back.. of course they didnt understand why I was having the pain I was having. Then I started questioning him about some of hie polices.. he proceed to insult me and told me maybe this wast the practice for me... the one I had waited two months for an appointment for.. he stormed out of the room... saying that I needed to voluntarily discharge... an assistant or nurse came in with my voluntary discharge paper.. I said I didnt want to discharge. just because we had a disagreement doesnt mean I dont need the services offered here. So he came back in and said discharge him anyway... It was very hard to convince an emergency room to do an MRI when they see multiple Doctor visits about my back issue... it isnt an emergency at that point.. 3 ER visits later and 10 hours of being stubborn, I finally got my scan... I have multiple issues causing my pain. Herniated Disk, Radial radiculopathy, plus an abnormally small hole that my spine runs through where all the swelling from these problems is causing my spine to pull. The ER Contacted the spine clinic where I was set to be seen in a month for 8 weeks of therapy before determining if I needed an MRI and told them to get me an appointment ASAP and I needed to consult with a Spinal Surgeon ASAP as well.... Im in pain right now, trying to work with a new pain clinic and get an emergency appointment until a surgery. Im hoping this practice will come to there sense and either course correct thie Doctor that a lot of people seem to have issue with, or cut ties.

I have been coming here for several years now , for severe migraines and fibromyalgia, and have seen many of the doctors. They have all been very knowledgeable and have helped me in different ways. However, NP Susan Sipes is one of the best doctors, yes I said doctor, that I have ever saw. She is smart, compassionate, she listens to you, and doesnt give up. I give her 10 stars! The billing staff though is not so compassionate and doesnt listen. Trying to set up payments, even if they arent as big as they want them to be, shouldnt be so emotionally painful. Trying to pay my bill and not get out of paying it is a good thing, even if it takes time. The lack of any desire to care was the worst of it. However, please dont let this stop you from seeing Susan, she is wonderful!

These guys are amazing! I had some major challenges from a Surgery in 2017 that was, for lack of a better word, BOTCHED!! First I was referred to Stephen James, Neurosurgeon... DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM (see review!). This is where Dr. Scott Kim and Susan Snipes, NP came in. Hubby by my side, I explained my history, my current condition, and my desire to return to normalcy. He listened, watched my body language, ACTUALLY REVIEWED MY MRI RESULTS, and nailed exactly what he felt the issue was. He explained that WE, together, would work on resolving the leg pain first, what his medical opinion was (which he was 100% correct about), and his thoughts on how best to treat it. I had three TRANSFORAMENAL injections with sedation (Thank you, Sir), each one month apart. I continue on the med and pt therapies discussed and concurrently am working with my Ortho to resolve a major contributing issue with my pain. I am walking today, in a big part, to Dr. Kim and Susan! The staff is friendly, but vigelent. The only thing I am working to resolve is the issue that the surgery center, steps from the exam room, is considered OUT OF NETWORK, yet I was told everything was in network. Huge issue financially. There is another review out there on this same issue. The ADMIN does need to do a MUCH better job with insurance. I highly recommend the PROVIDERS, over any other HCP out there. Because of their skills, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel to full recovery. Thank you, Dr. Kim and Susan!

Forget about this doctor (Robert Prince). He does nothing but talk about how other doctors care has been so horrible for you and believes only he can adequately treat pain. But will not use pain medicines instead opting for expensive steroid injections that have been tried and failed. This is not the kind of doctor you want for your long term care, although their office was nice.

The dr listens and gives you options. The staff were aware of my need to stay on a tight budget. The wait time has averaged 10-20 minutes. I had 2 late afternoon appts expecting to have a longer wait time, surprise! They called me back within 15 minutes both times. I too, have Anthem insurance & they cover office appts in Greenwood, but any procedures could only be done & covered by my insurance at their North Surgery Center. I was made aware upfront. The staff have all been professional, friendly, & compassionate.

Review №43

Be very careful if you have a procedure done in this facility. The surgical unit which is about 20 ft. away from the doctors office was out of network for Anthem, although the doctors visits were covered. If I would have had the procedure done at their northside facility, it would have been covered. Trouble is, my doctor did not do this procedure at the northside facility. Nobody - NOBODY bothered to tell me this in advance, and sent me a bill totaling almost $3,500. They would NOT work with Anthem to reduce the bill. PROCEED WITH CAUTION, PLEASE!!!!!
