A health care provider that doesn’t take new clients. That makes a lot of sense. No reason to look at the review because they don’t have room for you. Good luck elsewhere

Dr Morgan killed our dog on April 28th. We brought our little boy in to check him out. He had a tough day on Tuesday. He had a ulcer in his eye that fared up. We were going on vacation that morning. I was packing the car while my wife took him in. Dr. Vinson was our vet and she was off. Dr Morgan took him in. Without knowing our dogs background he suggested to my wife he needed to be put down. Our dog had issues but the one that was bothering him was never brought up. Dr Vinson seen him on Friday before and said he was doing better and keep doing what we were doing. On the 28th morning our dog went out did his business and ate his breakfast, I am not a vet but our boy was much better that morning. I get a call saying stop packing for him he is not coming home. Dr. Morgan made a decision not made on facts but what he wanted to do not what needed to be done. Avoid him. He at one time might had been good but he is washed up today. Our dog would be still with us today if it was not for him.

We have been bringing our animals to Academy since 1987. Dr. Morgan and Dr. Vinson are the absolute best! The staff is friendly, efficient, and reliable. I would rate 10 stars but the rating system stops at 5.stars! What else can I say?

I can’t say how much we love Dr. Vinson!! She is an amazing and compassionate doctor for our fur babies. She is responsive, understanding, and thorough. I can’t imagine taking our girls any where else. If you are looking for an amazing vet, look no further!!

Dr. Morgan is very good. Dr. Vinson does not follow thru with what she tells her clients when it comes to her personal days off over the passing of your babies. It will break your heart. Take my word on this. She did this not once but I “let” her do it to us with two of our babies. NOT this time!

They were so caring when we had to put our cat to sleep.

My horses and pets have been patients for 40 years. I have been so blessed to have such caring vets and staff. One time my little Yorkie got into some blood pressure pills of my aunts. She was in the ICU at Academy during the day and at the vets home at night so they might keep a close watch on her. With a such care she was back to almost normal in 8-10 days and we took her home for Thanksgiving. She lived another 10 years and they were there for me at the end.

We had to put down our chihuahua of 11 years to sleep at this clinic the other day. We are grateful at how clear the process was when they explained it to us and how sympathetic the staff was. It mean everything to me and my family. I highly recommend this place. A+

The vet on duty was very rude and unsympathetic! I took my sick/dying cat of 12 years to be euthanized. The vet didnt show any care me or my cat. When I asked for her paw print and lock of her hair. The old vet said I had to come back for it, because they were busy. I told him I wasnt happy with his attitude. He told me he that I was being rude towards him and said if I didnt leave he was calling the cops. I went outside and called the cops myself. After the old vet saw the cop through the window he pulled the shade. Then a staff member came out with my cats paw print and lock of hair. It shouldnt have taken a cop to get what would have taken a couple of minutes to do. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE 😠

If you are a new patient, they will not take you. So DO NOT make an appointment, because they will not see you even though you have an appointment. I’m saving a trip for all those trying to get their animal care.

My beloved pet Katie was very sick. We brought her here and the doctor was very honest with us about her prognosis. She gave us all options and the out come of each. We took Katie home to think about what to do. The next morning we called and told them we wanted to end her pain and suffering. When we brought her in later in the day, everyone was so nice and sympathetic. The doctor explained everything to us and allowed us to spend some time with her before and after the procedure. We chose to have her cremated. A week later they called to have us pick up the ashes which were nicely presented in a decorative gift bag. Inside the bag was a wooden box with a velvet bag containing her ashes.This was so hard on my family, however the doctors and staff here made us feel like they really cared and made it a bit easier. Last week we received a sympathy card from the office with Katies paw print inside. They did something I never even thought about doing! I am so grateful to these caring people. I would highly recommend them. They are always accommodating to schedules and are very reasonably priced.

Previously, had repeatedly recommended expensive exploratory surgery with an elderly cat with digestion issues. But when theres an actual problem with otherwise healthy cats, exploratory surgery is suddenly not doable.

I am so Grateful for Dr Morgan...Saving my 8 year old Bentley fur baby on Saturday December 29th,2019.. His office staff was kind enough to work us in before the holidays to see my very very sick boy..So Thankful we found The Academy Animal Hospital! #1 animal hospital in Indiana!!!🐕🐶❤

This vet is incompetent. We told Dr. Morgan that our dog was lethargic, bent over in pain, wheezing, and not eating or drinking. But the vet told us that her symptoms were vague and that she was fine. Turns out she had pancreatitis, thank God we took her to another vet when we got home because she was still acting funny. Hopefully she will get better soon. At the other vet hospital we brought her to, they actually performed blood work and tests. While Dr. Morgan at the Academy Animal Hospital didn’t perform any tests other than a body examination. He obviously doesn’t know what he’s talking about and doesn’t even look into if the pet is actually sick. I wouldn’t not recommended this vet.

Staff was rude on the phone and made me feel like I was stupid. Was calling to find out more information on vaccination care for my pets to try and find a veterinarian but I know I will not be going here.

Went in because I schedule an appointment for my dog. I told them what I was scheduled for and they made me feel so stupid. You never called here. Your at the wrong place. We dont have you down here. After I was trying to find my record of me calling I felt rushed. I made an appointment. I know I did. And I proved it when I showed them o called and had a few min conversation with that number. They still couldnt take him today. You never put me down for the time I had. Tried to make me feel stupid and still couldnt take him. Yea.

Reasonable prices. Dr. Tracey Vinson is superb! She is very knowledgeable and compassionate.

This place does not even deserve 1 star! The veterinarian is horrible with dogs and probably all animals at that. I took my Newfoundland who is a hyper puppy in for a kennel cough vaccination before taking him to training. My dog barked at him and he instantly got scared and asked for him to be muzzled. After that appointment against my better judgment I scheduled my newfie to be neutered at this place. So I changed my work schedule, got a sitter before work for my kiddos so that I could take him in for his procedure and when I get there they check me in and put me in a room to wait . After about 10 minutes the veterinarian pokes his head through the door and asked me if I have someone to help me hold him for a shot my dogs needs. I said no I was not informed that I needed someone to help me. I am pretty sure there are people called vet techs that are responsible for that! I am not asked to hold my children down when they get shots so why would I need to hold my dog down?! Not sure if they are too cheap to hire techs or for some reason didnt want to neuter my big guy but either way the way they handled the situation was very unprofessional!

This animal clinic is a JOKE. When i first walked in i thought it would be fine because the lady who greeted me was so welcoming. Once i was taken back to my room the nurse came. Ack and she looked miserable along with the doctor. The doctor didnt know what to do or suggest. I made all the suggestions. They didnt even offer to do an xray just was like well i dont know whats causing the bleeding in the nose. His stitches in his mouth came loose. So i asked if they could do an xray and fix the stitching. Oh no. Oh no. They just looked at me like thats the last thing thy want to do. Instead he says its not that serious. He does need stitches but i think hell be okay for a few days. Even tho he also said food can get up in there and cause an infection. LOL. I was so upset at this point. They were so aggressive to my dog to the point he tried to bite them and was shaking from being so terrified. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR DOG TO FRANKLIN ANIMAL CLINIC. there is one in greenwood. They treated my dog with kindness and actually cared. The doctor there new exactly what to do and what to suggest to help my pup. This place only gave me medicine and sent me on my way. A JOKE. Dont go here.
