I was very impressed with Dr. Moore. I am in the middle of IVF treatment with a large institution and it was recommended that I have a hysteroscopy (HSC) performed to remove possible scar tissue in my uterus. I needed to find someone in my insurance network to help and Dr. Moore went above and beyond to help me. Not only was I am to get an earlier consult appointment than any other OBGYN-surgeon in Denver, he met me with compassion and knowledge. Dr. Moore sat with me, got to know my situation, and then made time for me THAT DAY to have the HSC done. Thankfully, I listened to him because it turned out there is no scar tissue and I dont need him to perform surgery. I am so glad he offered to scope me in the office first before going the route of a full-blown HSC in the hospital. I was impressed with the friendly staff and Dr. Moores attention to details and his desire to help me at his earliest convenience. I recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Moore was incredible! I had a failed ablation done years ago by another Dr that was causing a lot of pain with some fibroids . He went through my options and I did the myomectomy and ablation, it was the best decision I could have made! His bed side manner is so caring, he makes you feel like you are the only patient in the world. Thanks Dr Moore for changing my life!

I had my appendix rupture 8 years ago and as a result had blocked Fallopian tubes causing infertility. Dr.Moore fought for me and stood up for me. He removed one tube and cleared the other. He has great bedside manner and said he will treat me as if I was his daughter on the operating table.

I met Dr Moore last year and am so impressed with his ability to communicate with me, the patient and get results for me immediately. I was saddened when I found out he was no longer with my insurance company. THEN I got a letter saying they made a mistake. He is part of my insurance still. Great doctor.

Dr. Moore performed my partial hysterectomy a little over a year now. I was miserable and nobody could figure out what was going on with me. My periods were so heavy that I had to wear a tampon and two pads. I would bleed through them in 15 to 20 minutes. That was the most miserable time in my life. My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Moore who provided me a few options to resolve my problem. I chose surgery. When I was in the hospital the nurses said, your doctor really cares about his patients. He made sure I had the medication needed to keep me comfortable. This man is an angel sent from above. I am forever grateful for his kindness, skills and love for his craft!

For months I battled pelvic pain, for months I saw different doctors. I saw many OBYGN, for months I had ultrasound after ultrasound to tell me I have nothing. I finally found this doctor that lives 1.5hrs away from me that had amazing review and I said why not try him. Let me tell you Im so thankful for him. My first visit he practiced his due diligence. He actually sat me down and ask me questions, he took his time. He did an ultrasound that same day and told me what could possibly be causing my pain. He gave me options. I opted for the laparoscopy surgery and sure enough I had endometriosis. Since my surgery I feel so much better. Im for every grateful for him.

I feel so much better. Before I saw Dr. Moore, Id been treated horribly by medical professionals. I knew something was wrong, but everyone just told me I was a wimp. I was missing work and just entirely a miserable human to be around when I was in pain.Dr. Moore is so reassuring and wonderful. Normally I wont see male doctors because I have PTSD, but Dr. Moore is trustworthy and wonderful. He has a very soothing voice and even though its cheesy to be saying Its ok, Im here, youre safe here, I promise, Dr. Moore cared and didnt treat me like I was crazy just because I have PTSD. I had NO pain in my exam for the first time in my life. Its only been about 24 hours since my surgery, but I already feel better. I was able to get diagnosed, then I was one and done with endometriosis by removing my ovaries and uterus. Its a nasty disease and Dr. Moore was ready to fight it with me. Every single person on my surgery day was so wonderful and nice. I was scared at first but everything went perfectly. It was the first surgery of my adult life and I was terrified, but Dr. Moore took time to answer my questions in detail and I finally felt validated. All his staff are great and I think Dr. Moore is the best GYN youll ever find if your periods are painful. I heard about him through my coworkers and I cannot sing his praises highly enough. I already feel better, despite some post-operation pain. Dr. Moore made sure I knew about everything in detail so my recovery wasnt confusing and I knew whats good and whats bad. He also spent a lot of time explaining hormone replacement therapy in detail and its benefits as well. Communication has been absolutely stellar, I feel in control of my health for the first time ever in my life.He can do regular conservative treatment or go more radical if youre like me and youre done with the pain and dont want children or have completed your family. If you have painful, heavy, or this doesnt feel right periods or youve never had a non-painful pelvic exam, go to Dr. Moore. You will be glad you did because your concerns will actually be listened to and your feelings and concerns will be answered.

I had a great experience with Dr. Moore, it was comfortable and he really took the time to understand my problems.BUT A PSA for all you women out there: I was prescribed the Provera pill (Medroxyprogesterone) by Dr. Moore, who told me that it was a form of contraception, and that I could use this in place of my regular birth control pills. IT IS NOT. The injection form IS, the Provera pill IS NOT.

After years of struggling with intense period pain, my periods became heavier and more frequent, and the pain and nausea started becoming a daily thing. I couldnt get answers for why I was hurting, and a friend recommended Dr. Moore to me. After waiting weeks for Denver Health to get back to me for a referral there, I went ahead and called Dr. Moores office. They got me an appointment within a week.I have never had a doctor who was as kind and caring as Dr. Moore was. He genuinely seemed concerned with my pain. After a lengthy conversation and an ultrasound, he diagnosed me with endometriosis. He went over every possible treatment option with me and never pressured me to make any decision. Instead, he gave me information and let me make my own decision. I decided a hysterectomy would be the best option, and he did not call that into question. He was ready to schedule me within a few weeks, but due to personal issues, I had to delay the surgery for a few months. I was surprised, as most specialists take months to just get in for a consult, but Dr. Moore wanted to do all he could to get me out of pain as quickly as possible. While I was waiting for surgery, my pain became unbearable, so I went back to see him. He did another ultrasound just to make sure nothing else had come up. Ive had so many problems with doctors not believing my pain in the past, but Dr. Moore validated me, told me he didnt want me to suffer and wrote me prescriptions for medication to manage my pain until surgery. When it was time for my pre-op appointment, Dr. Moore was so helpful. I brought my partner with me, and Dr. Moore answered all of our questions and gave me plenty of information so I would know what to expect. He went through all the best and worst case scenarios and asked me how I would want him to handle them. During the entire process, I felt like I was in control. The morning of my surgery, I was terrified, but as soon as Dr. Moore walked into the room, I knew I was in good hands. He assured me several times in previous appointments that he would care for me in the same manner as he would care for his family, and I believed him. Seeing him walk in the room comforted me far more than I expected. My surgery was a success. He removed my uterus, both Fallopian tubes and my right ovary, and he also excised any endo he found. After surgery, he found that I also had adenomyosis. It has been nearly three months since my surgery, and I am completely out of pain. My recovery was quick and easy, and I was back to work in just over a week. Pain had been a daily part of my life for so long, and Dr. Moore gave me a new, better life, one without constant pain and nausea.Being sick is hard enough, and fighting with doctors to get answers is the worst. Over the years, I felt like I was crazy because no one believed me. Just having someone listen with compassion was crucial. Dr. Moore was the first doctor to make me feel like I wasnt a crazy person. He listened. He cared. And he got me out of pain. I will forever be thankful to him and his staff for all their care during some really dark times.

This is a bit long, but Ive been with Dr. Moore for a very long period of time and through many problems.I have been a patient of Dr. Moore since late 1989. I was originally referred to him by my regular ob/gyn after trying to conceive using Clomid with no success. At the time I saw Dr. Moore, his practice was named Conceptions. He diagnosed me with endometriosis, and through two laparopscopies using a laser, removed what endo he was able to find. We began fertility treatments with artificial insemination. After the very first trial, I became pregnant in July 1991, at age 35, with my beautiful daughter, who is now 23 years old. Then, after months of horrible symptoms after her birth, with my obstetrician and my family doctor putting me through a gall bladder ultrasound, blood tests, psychological treatment, and other tests which I cannot remember, Dr. Moore, within one 15-minute conversation, diagnosed me with post-partum depression and anxiety, and placed me on the appropriate medications. I was soon back to relative normal, and was able to return to work.In about 1994, I tried to conceive again through the traditional way, unfortunately without any success. Then we began a very emotionally difficult period of time of two in-vitro fertilizations. The first one was successful, but only for a couple of weeks, when I lost the pregnancy. The second one did not work. Unfortunately, because of living with decades of endometriosis (undiagnosed), and because of my age (40), I had to give up on having another pregnancy. I was diagnosed with perimenopause at age 40 and he placed me on estradiol and progesterone. So we adopted when I was 42 years old. My second daughter is now 17.After two more laparoscopies to laser out more endo, an endometrial ablation (because I had entered perimenopause, with its weeks of hemorhagging periods and months of no period at all), I finally had a total hysterectomy (vaginally) in 2001. When I decided to get the hysterectomy, I had no idea that it could be done vaginally. Luckily for me, it was successful. I retained my cervix, had no huge muscle-cutting scar, but had my ovaries and tubes removed to make sure that the endo didnt return. After years and years of increasingly excruciating pain from the age of 14, to the point where I eventually had to be on heavy narcotics, and evaluations by many doctors before Dr. Moore, my decades of excruciating pain from the endo were finally over. The progesterone was stopped immediately after the hysterectomy, but I continued on the estradiol because of the hot flashes/night sweats, which were unrelenting and ruining my life with sleep deprivation. My menopause has persisted now for 19 years, and I remain on estradiol to this day to keep the hot flashes at bay.I trust Dr. Moore completely with anything female related. One irritating thing about Dr. Moore: he will not issue a prescription for another year of estradiol until I come in for my annual exam, but that is what I need to remember to schedule it.I have kept Dr. Moore as my gynecologist ever since, and have referred women to him who have also had successful vaginal total hysterectomies with him. I will continue to have him as my gynecologist until he retires.
