He is very inappropriate and when I left his office I got home and there was blood all over my face.! Spent the entire appointment listening to him insult his staff. I’m so glad that I have found another dentist who I like, does excellent work, has wonderful equipment and charges far less. She also has an excellent staff.

Attention to detail like very few dentists even think about. The only dentist to see about bite issues or reconstruction (extensive restorative cases).

Im one of those individuals who are afraid of the dentist. And pain. Plus I have an anxiety disorder that doesnt help when a stranger has sharp instruments in my mouth.Dr Schwan and his hygienist, Tina, are both wonderful and have gone out of their way to put me at ease, to make sure Im comfortable and to minimize any pain I might experience from the cleaning or the fillings I needed replaced.Theyre extremely personable and I immediately trusted them both with my teeth and well being. Big bonus...they explain what theyre doing and why. I love that.

Dr Schwan is a wonderful dentist. he not only takes care of my dental needs but my whole family. His staff is great and it is very easy to schedule an appointment and get in quickly. Dr Schwan has done many services for me from fixing a cracked tooth, to filling a couple old cavities that were falling apart, and his masterpiece that he did for me which was put in composite veneers on my top teeth. I have had braces when I was a teeenager, but like most teenagers I did not wear my retainer. My top teeth had gaps throughout and were worn down from grinding. After talking with Dr Schwan about my options he mentioned composite veneers, with him being a perfectionist I decided that was the best decision. I couldnt be happier, they look fantastic and I didnt have to wear braces again and now my teeth look straight as if I had braces. My sister in law is a dentist and after showing her the work that Dr Schwan had done she said those are one of the best veneers she has ever seen and could not believe they were composite and not porcelain. I cant thank Dr Schwan enough. Thank you for the great smile and I will continue to refer because of his professionalism and great quality work. I have had many dentist and Dr Schwans work is by far the most superior of work.

UPDATE: Dr. Schwan called me about the work he had done. After repeatedly telling him I did not wish to discuss anything with him, he continued to argue and told me I did not know what I was talking about. After 23 years in dentistry, helping with instruction in dental study clubs, working on full-mouth reconstruction and TMJ issues, pretty sure I do.When I originally contacted this office, I never received a call back to schedule my initial appointment. Finally on the fourth call, someone answered. Upon arrival Dr. Schwan came out to the waiting room to talk about himself for at least 15 minutes and talked about how knowledgeable he is about dentistry and also talked about his personal life. Really?After the initial appointment, I had a tooth prepared for a crown and since it was late was told the office manager would call to schedule the next appointment - which she never did. A week later I called. Since I was numb to have the crown seated, after I left I discovered the bite was high. It took me two more appointments and on the third visited he adjusted my bite so I was ONLY hitting on one tooth in my mouth! He then told me he was unable to fix my bite and refused to do anything more unless I paid $400.00 so he could use his computer technology to adjust my bite. I have had nothing but problems and have had to go to another dentist to repair the damage he has done.When I called to request my records his assistant answered. She told me he is not able to keep front office people and the only reason she stays is it works well with her second job. During my visit, he constantly berated her but then would turn around and say how great she is. Made me very uncomfortable.

Dr. Schwan is a very experienced Dentist with over 25 years of experience and believe me, it shows. I had a follicular cyst in my upper lip and Dr. Schwan was able to successfully remove it utilizing a water laser. This instrument was amazing. No pain, no bleeding and most importantly...no scar! An oral surgeon who specialized in this field, whom I had seen prior to visiting Dr. Schwan, wanted to remove the cyst utilizing a scalpel and a local anesthetic. Besides being a bloody procedure, this method would have left a scar and scar tissue. Im grateful I found Dr. Schwan. His expertise saved me from having a disfigured upper lip. Dr. Schwan has also done extensive work on my teeth. I have never been more satisfied with a Dentist. Hes worth the trip no matter where youre commuting from.

Dr. Schwan is brilliant! I was referred to Schwan Dental because of an implant that another doctor had done for me - but then I started to develop issues. Dr. Schwan was able to diagnose what was wrong and help me. I cant even begin to tell you how glad I am that I found Dr. Schwan.

Im not a patient here, but I just want to mention how rude the front desk lady was when I visited. I walked in to discuss something, but as soon as walking in to the office she said no solicitation is allowed, no single word to greet me. She just doesnt understand anybody that walks in can possibly be their future patient. No professionalism.
