I cannot say enough great things about Soema and her services. I went in for a cut and color touch up(tone), and it has no joke changed my entire view on going to the salon.With curly hair, like most of us, I avoided getting a hair cut until it was absolutely necessary. 95% of the time they cut it way to short not realizing how much the curl shrinks, put layers in weird places that look funky once I wear my hair natural, or in the best of circumstances the cuts were just straight across/boring/not what I asked for at all.Getting my hair cut here at Curly Republic is the first time in my 28 years on this earth where I actually walked out of a salon LOVING my haircut, and still loved it a week later. My review is over due but I was in the looks for someone to specialize in curly hair , my hairs been through a lot and for many years I never embraced curls so after finally getting my hair back to how it use to I decided to look someone up who specializes in curly hair came across curly republic and I couldn’t be happier she was professional since the beginning I had mentioned to her my concerns , and sometimes I can be very extra but she did a very good job at my hair cut I did have to go back in twice because I was concerned about the blonde on my hair and wanted to ash it out more and after that it was perfect !! She’s very professional uses great products give her a try you won’t be disappointed

For years, I have been trying to do a two strand twist out on my hair. I watched all the you tube videos and bought all the products and NOTHING worked. My hair would be frizzy at the ends or over saturated in Products that promised not to build up. At Curly republic I learned that because my hair is fine and thin, I should have been doing a SINGLE strand twist. The two strand twist was breaking my thin hair at the ends and the breaking was damaging my healthy hair. After she cut away the damage she did the imposible. I just came off a flight after foolishly washing my hair. My hair was very dry and not a single curls survived the trip. My curlologist (Dont know if that a real title but thats what I call her) cut, deep Conditioned and curled my hair. It is so cute! She made my curly dreams come true! And she told me how create my curls at home. I cant tell you how much it means to finally understand my hair, and to learn how to get the look I have been wanted for over 20 years and she did it in like an hour. The right method and the right product. So nice to see some one who specializes in curly hair!
