My name is William Keefer, I got into a DUI and needed to go through level 2 education and therapy, i decided to go here at 5280 and it was by far the best experience ive had in my life. They truly care about your well being here. Big kudos to Michelle White for connecting with me as well.

5280 is definitely a great place to go for classes/therapy! I had Josh as my counselor and he was great. He always keeps things light and tries to make you laugh. They classes themselves are not too judgmental or stressful, which made them more enjoyable. I think he does a good job of presenting the required material in a way that makes it easier to actually learn from the lessons.

5280 Human Care Center and counselor Josh Mason provided excellent service in a very professional and prompt manner, resulting in an overall very successful educational experience. Counselor Josh Mason is simply the best at what he does. His level of professionalism, positive attitude and subject matter expertise made the therapy learning process a successful one, and more importantly, applicable to post therapy day-to-day life. Human CARE is in the name of this fabulous center and it shows. I feel so fortunate to have been placed with an amazing therapist, Josh. He really wants the best for his students and values our worth. He notices and recognizes growth and is helping us all to heal while helping us to understand that the consequences we are dealing with are meant to be punitive so that we dont get ourselves in the same situation again. He creates introspective assignments and a warm community within our group. Hes simply the best and a total rock star in my book.

I started taking a class with Michelle. Something seemed off when I first began the class and the teacher acted as if I had been going through the class with everyone else the whole time, not that it was my first day. When we had some new students she welcomed them and told them some requirements for the class, which she never mentioned to me. As I continued the class I noticed she focused her attention on some students and almost completely ignored others. She also ended class based off her schedule, not based off the requirements of the course. We usually got out of class between an hour and an hour and a half depending on what she had planned for the day. During one class she even threw in some of her political views, which was unnecessary and unprofessional. I ended up transferring to another class because the last class I had with her she didn’t acknowledge me when I entered class, didn’t interact with me when I shared, and seemed to avoid having me share during the discussions. The other students in the class on the other hand we’re great and were more engaging than the teacher. I wasn’t learning much with her teaching method which was monotone, not engaging, and she seemed to be inconvenienced by us being in class. It was quite upsetting that someone like this should be allowed to teach a class to help people struggling with some things when she focuses on the content of the book and not her students. I was baffled to learn that she also is one of the therapists from what I had experienced during these classes.

I was sentenced by the state of Colorado to 12 hours of alcohol education and 52 hours of alcohol therapy. My counselor (Josh) was amazing. He really went above and beyond to ensure that the participants in his group were treated with respect and heard. Highly recommend this place

5280 Human Care Center has been absolutely amazing. All of the staff members have been very helpful answering any questions that I have, and helping me find classes that fit into my work schedule. Josh is very personable, and I feel comfortable talking to him about difficult subjects. He is relatable, and non-judgmental. I was dreading the education and therapy classes assigned to me, but thanks to Josh, I do not dread them, and have actually enjoyed them. I would HIGHLY recommend 5280 Human Care Center.

While having a DUI is stressful enough, Jeff from therapy sessions of these classes is very helpful and eases everyone into all the emotions associated with a DUI

I love this place, i went through my edu classes with Josh and now am going to do my therapy with him. Josh is an amazing instructor and super personable. I always enjoy my time being in his groups. Tricia is also a great person here, she is always super on top of things and super helpful.

Getting a DUI and having to jump through all of these hoops is usually a really tough and complicated process but once I got to 5280 it all seemed to work out smoothly. Tricia was an amazing help from the get go getting my intake paperwork settled and helping me through the starting process. Susie was my counselor for my classes and I can’t say enough good about her welcoming me and treating me like a human being and I’m glad she plays a part in running this business as well. Love the staff here, love the atmosphere and couldn’t recommend them more! Run to 5280 if you have to do these classes!

Unprofessional & Insensitive. The director refused to correct the spelling of my full name nor take accountability for poor actions - I will not get into detail about the topics discussed however this facility will be reportes to the state, DMV, & BBB.I even received a letter from counselor about how happy he was about my participation and progress- but as soon as I gave different feedback about my stance on being in therapy, I was removed from the class yet told if I pay $65 a session instead of $30, I could continue- UNETHICAL. In addition, we are supposed to receive 2 hours of therapy each week, not 1 per DMV requirements yet on the document they listed each session as 2 hours when that is clearly false information. For a “therapist” to just remove someone from a session bc of their transparency and not take the initiative to discuss any concerns is troublesome. You don’t just “give up” on your clients when you’re so quick to take their $$.

It was definitely a tough time for me. Susie has been wonderful and has helped me through this . I didnt know what to expect from a group like this but I am sure glad I found them. I would recommend. this place my group has been like a family we care for one another. Thank you 5280!

I have really enjoyed my time with 5280. Susie is a fantastic counselor, and it makes it easier to come to class weekly. The classes are interactive, and the people are pretty great. I highly recommend.

I tried to sign up for classes with this business and the lady I spoke with Tricia didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing. She tried to assign me to a class that wasn’t correct even though it was clearly on my paperwork. I then decide I wasn’t going to do classes with this company. They still tried to charge me $70 for filling out paperwork and an affidavit. She says they don’t give refunds for this when she knew she didn’t do more than fill out a piece of paper. It’s unreal that people are this low that they try and rip off people for no reason. Crazy they think that their services are worth $70 for maybe 5 minutes of work. You’d think in these times they would do what’s right and not charge since they didn’t do any real work. Nope they are just greedy people with no morals. Long story short don’t go to this place for anything or they will try steal from you.

This place is Amazing. Its full of all around just Great people. The vibe is comfortable and relaxing. During unfortunate circumstances this is definitely a place to be. The framed photos I can only describe as art that adorn the walls here is enough to lift spirits. Great Management! Great Counseling! Great Staff and Support! I love this Place.

Josh is literally the absolute best he goes above and beyond, his classes are the absolute best without making me feel stupid put down or just hating every second of it! Out of everybody I could have gotten Im so glad it was Josh sincerely Bri

When I first found out I had to go an Education or Therapy group, I was not looking forward to it. However, the counselor/therapist here Susie changed that for me completely. She engages each of us in our groups, listens and helps each grow in our own way. I truly could not imagine having to go through this process with any other counselor! I look forward to seeing her and our group each week.

I feel like I am in a safe place and I feel like I can be myself and comfortable to share what I need to work on me thank you susie

I am currently taking my DUI Level II classes here and I can not say enough great things about 5280 Human Care Center. The environment is so welcoming and comfortable. The Classroom feels more like a comfortable living room, because instead of chairs they have couches and a little fireplace and even a free coffee bar to use before and during the class. The counselor is so nice and caring. She is a recovered alcoholic that truly understands and empathizes what we are going through. The best part is that 5280 costs me exactly the same as the other place I used to take classes and I get so much more out of it. If you have to take DUI classes, this is the best and least painful place to complete the courses.

I have tried calling and emailing over 15 times in the last three days and no response. Emailed multiple people and no response… I’m just trying to get a hold of any one who works there. Disappointed so far

I had an amazing experience at 5280 a few weeks ago. Needing to find a place to have my son drug-tested on a Saturday was daunting and emotional to say the least, but Tricia Engelbert was kind, sensitive, understanding, knowledgeable, and discreet. The center itself is calming, clean, comfortable, and made me feel safe and secure. Tricia was personable and professional and if I have to do something like this again, I will absolutely go back to 5280.

I cant believe what a difference this place makes. I had to do therapy a few years back in a dingy warehouse classroom with four white walls and folding chairs. Tricia has gone out of her way to make sure that people feel comfortable when they come to counseling. She even has a fireplace in the group room. 5 STARS Tricia, well done!

Getting a DUI during COVID was very hard. The courts werent open and I couldnt seem to find anyone that knew what was going on. 5280 helped me understand what I needed to do and got me started in DUI classes so that it would look good when I went to court. The online classes really helped with my schedule. The staff is very responsive and friendly.

Terrible, unprofessional

I was very scared to do my DUI classes, I felt so much shame and guilt over my actions but the counselor at 5280 Human Care Center made me feel safe and the others in the group helped me realize that I was not the only one going through this difficult time. I am so glad I found this place.

Emailed several times and left messages by phone. Dont waste your time with this company. Use a more reputable company that get back to you and respects your time trying to reach out to them.
