I am compelled to write a review and say thanks to the Anxiety Institute and Dan Villiers, its Founder and Director of Admissions. My interaction with the Institute has been brief, but truly impactful. For ~10 years, I have been searching for sources of support, understanding, services and helpful referrals for my son. We live in California but a friend suggested that I connect with Dan, an expert in adolescent anxiety with decades of experience, and considered one of the best in the business. Within a few days, I was able to arrange a call. The questions Dan asked were so perceptive and after just 45 minutes, Dan offered a wise synthesis and prioritization of my son’s challenges so that I could pursue next steps that would be effective. I was blown away! Since then, just three weeks ago, I feel I know and understand some of my son’s struggles more clearly. We are able to ask better questions as we seek help for him. All you who live in Connecticut, or nearby are lucky to have such a pro in your midst! Wish we lived nearby.

The Anxiety Institute changed my childs life. Their program is very effective at giving young adults the skills they need to successfully overcome severe anxiety and any related issues. The staff truly cares about each client. I am so grateful for all they have done to help our family.

The Anxiety Institute in Greenwich, CT is anything but institutional - it is such a welcoming and safe environment for kids that often do not feel either welcome or safe. While there is no question that they helped my son on his journey toward mastering his anxiety, the impact that they had on me, as a parent of an anxious teenager, was just as profound. I will forever count the staff among my friends and they remain a valued resource for both of us, even after my son has graduated from the program.
