I read online that this park was made to imitate New Yorks central park. An oasis in the middle of a busy place. As someone who moved here from NYC 4 years ago, I was intrigued.Set very close to Woodruff and Haywood roads, I had no idea that this beautiful escape was hiding in the middle of the busyness of the world, similar to Central Park.Plenty of sun and shade, water features and rolling hills, beautiful paths and places to sit and relax. Such a wonderful place to just take a break. Watch the sky, the fountains, feel the breeze and the sun, see people of all ages (and their canine friends) enjoy what the park has to offer.I must admit that I only saw a small corner of the park. I set up in my camp chair under some trees at one end of the park. But I was utterly amazed. What a great place to spend a beautiful Saturday.

Had a wedding at this location. The Gazebo makes a good shelter and seating area for 90 people. Beautiful backdrop for the wedding and photos.I have attached a to scale seating chart anyone can use for a wedding.We also set up a 10 by 20 canopy adjacent to the gazebo. Also the picnic tables can be placed outside the Gazebo and make a perfect area for the reception.

Its a great park to bring your kids to play. You can also walk your dog there to. Bring a blanket and sit on the grass you will really enjoy it.

Nice park. It have a track and two different playground for the kids. The restrooms are clean. A plus to have a book drop off and share area. My niece had her birthday party and everyone had a good time.

One bench swing under the pergola has a wasp nest. Called police who said they would notify animal control. Hopefully wit will get taken care of soon.Park has two playgrounds. One for younger children. Also a walking trail. Restrooms are clean. Picnic tables available as well.

We were just visiting. We love going there as the dog can get a lot of play over there. He made a lot of friends along with us. So love to go there. The park has got good walking area and theres a pond where you can walk around too. Kids have their separate play area which is great. You can have a family outing for lunch or evening snack or something. Its a great place!!

The park is great for all ages. Theres so many things to do and enjoy as a family. After letting the kids play and jump around its nice to walk the path and around the water fountains to wind down. We love it and will keep going back.

Theres a walking trail that goes around the whole park, two playgrounds (one for smaller kids and one for bigger kids), a volleyball court, a pavilion with picnic tables, and restrooms. The restrooms were a little dingy, but other than that this is a really nice park thats well kept up.

It is a beautifully large park. It has a volleyball court, two small play grounds, bench swings, my personal favorite, and all the space you need for a good jog.

One of our favorite toddler play areas in Greenville. Its fenced in and offers a play set, as well as two baby swings, a bouncy bike, and plenty of benches for parents to sit. There is also a play area for older kids. When my two are more in a wandering mood the park is expansive with tons of grassy areas and sidewalks. Theres a large field for picnics and several swinging benches to sit and take in the scenery. Theres a volleyball court and a covered pavilion (with grills) as well.

Very nice place to walk around the paved paths,You can also walk a dog( with the plastic bag of course). Has a nice pond in the center of it with tiny fish and turtles. Also has a pavilion and restrooms.

The peace and quiet is everything! I enjoy bringing my family here for picnics and a nice walk around the pond.

Whats not to love about this park?! Large grass field area and pond, scenic areas and walking paths, kid and pet friendly, restrooms available, lots of parking, not too crowded (and if it is, theres plenty of room to space out), sidewalks, and well-lit at night. I feel safe here because its surrounded by neighborhoods.

Perfect place for kids to play in the area. Good tree cover for shade, quality playground equipment, benches for sitting and tables for eating, a paved trail, fountain and garden for relaxing, and lots of lawn space to lay or play!

Great playground and a playing outdoor games. Walking part is ok, better parks for that aspect.

So beautiful, quiet, peaceful. And full of friendly people. Really clean park. The kids fed the geese and got to see a turtle chilling on the rocks. Even has a little area just for smaller kids.

I love this park. The playgrounds are nice, the field is great for Frisbee, picnics, playing catch, etc. The trail is great for walking and there are several nice spots to sit on a bench and enjoy the weather.

A beautiful park, wide open grassy areas, walking trails, beautiful hills and trees. The aroma of the flowers by the picnic area are a delight to the senses. There are two playgrounds, one gated for toddlers and another open for older kids. There is sand a volleyball court as well. People biking, running, playing with pets, throwing frisbee. Just about anything you might want to do you can do here.

The park is so beautiful! They just recently did some amazing new improvements. I walk my dog there every morning.

Nice short circular path on a slight hill, part of which goes around a pond. Huge grassy area with with nice shaded areas, perfect for picnics or small outdoor games. Also has bathrooms and a covered picnic area. All beautiful and well maintained.

Saw the 2017 Solar eclipse here. Drove all the way from Tampa Florida to see it. The park is beautiful. Great place to bring the family. Playground is a decent size and theres a paved walking trail around the premise that makes for a pretty aesthetically pleasing stroll. Easy to get to, especially when we were from out of town.

Nicely shady and enclosed play area for toddlers. The big kid play area could use some shade, but it is easy to see from the shaded areas to watch your kids. It has a beautiful and well maintained walking trail that circles a spacious great area that is great for a picnic or flying a kite. One of our favorite little parks.

Love it every time Im there. It is fun to walk the dogs there, or just go for a brief stroll, or lie on the grass and daydream.The park is very clean and quiet, offers a beach Volleyball field and a small pond and some swinging park benches.

One of the newest public parks in Greenville. Nested in the middle of an impressive community center that was mostly trees and trailers ten years back, Legacy Park sports a huge open field, walking paths, water features, two playgrounds for the kids, including one with a gated fence to keep the toddler from toddling away while you Tweet your pics. Its picturesque, open, modern, and even has a public bathroom built into the picnic shelter by the parking area. Admit it, you and your offspring need the fresh air. This is a great place to go make some leisurely memories!

This park is a hidden gem. It may be small but it packs a mighty punch! It has a gazebo and well manicured lawns for picnics and a cute little pond. Its really a cute park to bring your kids to play on the playground or to play catch. I will be back.

Great places for many different occasions! Wasnt very crowded despite being in a well developed area of Greenville. Great for families. The pavilion isnt huge, but is sufficient

This is a must visit for anyone with or without kids. They have two fun playground sets for the children and a great trail for adults. They have many picnic tables for you to bring lunch to enjoy with your family before either walking the trails, playing volleyball on the sand court or playing on the playground equipment with your kids. There is something for everyone. Dogs are welcome and the trails are great exercise!

Nice place to go on walks. It has 2 small playgrounds for kids. Really great view. The place is very clean. Staff literally pick any trash on the floor. The shelter has ceiling fans and it feels really cool under there. Bathrooms are available and are very clean.

The landscape was amazing and it was a great place to take pictures.
