I will not recommended this office to anyone. They treat you like you a bother to them. They rush you out. They dont ask you about your pre condition. Dr. Rosenthal is not a people person. Did not example them. Just rude.

Horrible service from the start. I was told to come into the lobby to check in and approached the desk and was stared at awkwardly until I finally spoke and said “hello, I am here to check-in”. Dr. Rosenthal came into my room, for all of two minutes, told me he could not do anything for my problem until after my pregnancy (understandable) but then before leaving the room told me to “go to the ER if it began having pus” which I literally just told him I had seen pus several times and that was the reason for my appointment. Nonchalantly, he says “oh and you have circulation issues, I can’t feel your pulse on the left and I can feel it on the right, that needs to be addressed before surgery”........ literally all that was said before he left the room. I then sat there until someone came to clean the room for the next patient and she says “oh, you can go”, like she had no clue I was even in there. I went to check out, the receptionist: “you’re good to go”. No referrals for circulation or how to address that, no follow-up requests for my current problem. Horrible, horrible patient care.

I had foot surgery and it changed my life. I can run pain-free now! Dr. Rosenthal is great and he answered all my questions, and the office staff spent extra time working with my schedule and insurance. Highly recommend them!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The staff is AWESOME! Rosenthal and his assistants are THE BEST! Very patient and understanding! Throughout my surgery and now my healing process they make sure I know every that’s going on and exactly how I’m healing!

Dr. OQuinn is the best! I struggled with foot and ankle pain and swelling for a couple of years before finally seeing a podiatrist. Dr. OQuinn explained every detail of my problem to me, recommended shoe stores, and prescribed what I needed. He also gave me different options for what we could do. I love that the first thing I did at my appointment, before even meeting the doctor, was get an x-ray. This sped things along and gave us a concrete diagnosis right away. The office is quick with communication and everyone is so kind! I love this place and highly recommend it!

Dr. Rosenthal performed a reconstruction of my arch and tendon. I had a hiking injury which resulted in an inability to hike or walk without pain. Now that I am healed I’m back to full activity. I am most grateful for his help and attentiveness.

Dr. OQuinn completed a home visit for my 95 year old friend to perform toenail clipping. He was prompt, professional and courteous. Down right friendly. Very compassionate and gentle.

Needed a quick appointment due to my son dropping a 45 pound weight on his foot!The front office staff greeted me immediately with a smile and made me feel welcomed as soon as I came in the door.Dr. Rosenthal and his assistant Ann took their time and showed EXCELLENT patient care and consideration for my son.I highly suggest making an appointment with Dr Rosenthal today!

This was our third visit to this office for a repeat procedure. Upon entering we were asked to pay our $80 copay. I asked if I could pay half and send in the rest and the receptionist said she would have to go and ask. After returning to the desk, she said I would have to pay the entire amount or we couldnt be seen.I mentioned that my son was in pain and that Ive always paid my bill with our two prior visits. (One of which they didnt require me to pay my copay) Her response was, You need to pay the full $80 dollars or not be seen.Its hard for me to believe that an office would allow a child to be in pain, over $40.00, since I offered to pay half. It kind of goes against the Hippocratic Oath they take as doctors, but oh well. After stepping out and transferring some funds, I was able to pay the full amount and get my child some relief. I have never ignored any of their bills and we have good insurance (BCBS of NC State Health Plan)God Bless the medical facilities that work with families and dont demand payment in full. The doctor was polite but I am keeping my fingers crossed that we wont have to return a 4th time.

Dr. OQuinn is the best and his staff are the friendliest, most precious souls ever. I couldnt have asked for a better group to care for me.

Dr. Gauland quickly diagnosed the issue with my toe. He treated it and I walked out pain free. He has an upbeat and still professional bedside manner. The clinic is set up to allow for social distancing and they do require masks. Excellent visit and outcome.

I was unfortunate to have two foot injuries in two years time, but SO THANKFUL to have been referred to Eastern Carolina Foot and Ankle! Dr Rosenthal and his staff are the best! When my toddler had to accompany me, the nurses occupied/played with my son for the couple minutes I got x-rays, they then asked about him when I went alone- ie a very personal experience with the staff. Dr Rosenthal is very professional and knowledgeable! He takes his time, talks to you. He explained what was going on with my foot, and didnt rush our visit. You get the feeling everyone there truly cares about meeting your needs. They run a tight ship, all my visits were 30 minutes or less, but I never felt rushed and Doctor Rosenthal always took his time to handle my case and make me feel completely taken care of!

Dr. O’Quinn performed an ingrown toenail removal for me this morning. He was so nice and very compassionate in his work, he makes sure it is as painless as possible! I’m so grateful he was able to get me in today and fix my poor toe!

I was told my arthritic pain would be helped by a $300.00 cream not covered by insurance. I asked my pharmacist if that was legit. He refused to say anything but led me to the aisle handed me an $8.00 tube and the $300.00 tube and had me compare ingredients.They were identical.PS I was reading the other reviews and some of the more positive reviews seem to have basic English language errors, funny for a staff reffered to in other posts as a staff that didnt speak English well now having patient posts that seem written by someone who doesnt speak English as their first language.

My Brother, Donnie Harrell, had not walked in over a year. He went to see Dr. OQuinn. We have never been to a more professional and courteous Dr. He takes time with you and you do not have to wait forever to see him. We are well pleased with the service that we have received from him and his staff. Thanks so much!

They did a great job on my ingrown toenails. They took the sides off and put acid in the corners to prevent future growth. I used to have to cut out my ingrown toenails every month and it was incredibly painful. This is one of the best decisions I ever made. Great staff!

I truly had a great experience . Dr. Jonathan OQuinn and his nurse treated me with great care and respect. Every person that I came in contact with were very nice. I highly recommend this facility. You are seen quickly once you arrive.

This place is a joke.. Never will I return.. Since going Ive went from getting toe nails clipped to nothing but a doctor in my face saying nothing.. But smiling for my insurance to pay up.. No help for my feet at all.. So what am I going for.. The last visit was the deal breaker... I was called and asked my information to send paperwork to my home.. The lady I spoke to did not understand English so of course they received the incorrect address.. Then as Im up and down on bad feet to the receptionist desk because of course they cant get it together as they laugh and do nothing but take money.. For any that attend.. Good luck.. The only reason they received 1star is because I had to add 1.. My opinion shut this place down..And find some ladies or men that have a clerical background... The ones working DO NOT HAVE A CLERICAL background.. GOD BLESS GOOD LUCK...I WONT BE BACK. NO SCHEDULING REQUIRED...

I highly recommend this facility!!! After over 10 years of foot and ankle problems and visiting other facilities, I can finally walk and im without pain!!!!!!!! No more running my shoes over! Thank you so much!

I have always been pleased with the service of doctor Rosenthal and his staff Courteous professional friendly staff. I have been a patient for over 8 years or more. Whatever my condition is at the time, the outcome is always satisfactory.

I would not recommend this practice to anyone. I was referred by child’s primary doctor. Upon checking in and handing receptionist my ID and insurance card when she is done with them she proceeds to throw them down hard on the the clipboard instead of handing it back to me. When I sat down in the lobby another patient stated she did him the same way so it just wasn’t me. The doctor had no patience with my child and I did not care for his attitude handling the treatment.

For someone who works with families, Dr Q conducts himself poorly and unprofessional. I needed to reschedule my daughters surgery date to accommodate childcare for my other kids and he denied the reschedule and booted my child due to him being too busy and doesnt have time to reschedule people. I called 2 weeks in advance. This was totally uncalled for. Most places are 24 hours to 72 hours for an appointment change and 1 week for surgery. Guess thinking the world revolves around you and expecting families to drop everything when you want them to is how he wants to run his business.

Dr. OQuinn and his staff are very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to anyone in Eastern North Carolina!

Not satisfied with my 1st surgery. He changed everything that he has stated to me on each visit, so u may have to record him cause he will make it sound like your making it up. He ignored all that I have said to him and didnt care about what I was saying, even started leaving out the office as I was speaking. I now have to get someone else to correct his mistake and continue my procedure.

~Dont waste your time here ....Referred to a podiatrist by my Primary Care physician....I chose this one since I have relatives that see Dr. OQuinn and since he is a Christian and a good Dr. according to them. Since I took a recent x-ray that my Dr. ordered at Eastern Radiology, I took the X Ray results in so I wouldnt have to repeat it....the staff said I refused an x-ray while in reality I told them i was unsure my insurance would pay for a repeat X Ray with a normal report....the nurse said OK, we will see what the Dr. says ... he gets an attitude and wont let me explain what really was said ... he refuses to treat me!!! I was there over 2 hours, filling out mounds of paperwork, answering questions, having my picture taken (LOL), pics of my foot taken, waiting for the Dr. to come in....all for nothing! The nurse when returning my X Ray results I asked for back, gets an attitude with me also and argues me down I refused an X Ray....I told her I wouldnt be back....She smirks and says....Thats fine...there are plenty more that will...!! Please....dont waste your time or money here.....I give them a 0 for courtesy and 100 for being very unproffesional. ~

Eastern Carolina Foot and Ankle is the best place for foot/ankle problems! Dr. Gauland really listens and talks to you! Dr. Gauland is very humble, great doctor! He and his assistants help/treat/cure you just as if they were helping their own family. Dr. Gauland always has a smile and is truly amazing! I would recommend him to anyone/everybody!

After X-rays and MRI I was told to go see my primary care, cuz he didnt see what the problem was, walked into Sentra urgent care and three people including the PA told me I had a bad cellulitis and if I had waited any longer probably would have lost the toe. Been on bactrim since last Thursday and it has cleared up. Do foot docs not take care of toes I guess

Worst place ever!!! Dont wast your time going to this place. Rude staff and doctor Quinn does not care about his patients. Furthermore, his assistant is very rude!!!!! Incorrect diagnosis, will lie to you in your face!!! Never again
