This place is reasonably priced and they will fix whatever u need done. Even if they don’t have the part, they will call around an track it down. I use them ever time I need something fixed. I definitely would refer them to anyone else.

I looked up a bike repair/service online. I called and got an appointment @ a convenient time. I was pleasantly greeted by staff ,and was helped unloading my bike. While I was there @ sign -in,staff helped me find the perfect helmet. I got a text of repair finished and ready for pickup the same day. The staff were all helpful and the Village Wrench has a perfect location and a mission to the community. I will be back to have my bike serviced and I surely will tell everyone about this place! From start to the finish, this place is truly a 5-star place!

Super awesome place! Went there for a tune up and had some questions. They helped me with everything I needed and then some, and only charged a fraction of what I thought it was going to be! Thank you so much! Definitely will be back if I need anything again.

I always enjoy going to Village wrench and it’s my favorite bicycle shop in the Greenville area. Mainly because I can accommodate my whole family at a great price. I have bought multiple bikes for my children from there and I bought a few bikes half assembled so my children could work on putting it together. All of the used bikes are marked at great prices. I’ve noticed you will pay much more at other shops for basically the same bike in other shops. Children grow so fast they are to big for a bike before you know it. My children also had the experience of donating bikes back to the shop for someone that needs it. I recently had my road bike tuned up and some parts replaced at a great price and I had a bike assembled their for my wife. My family has a goal to ride the entire swamp rabbit trail together and few other 20 mile charity rides. Village wrench has helped us to get prepared and they really embrace the name “Village.”

Kat, Jack and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Their work and attention to detail are superb. Village Wrench is one of the few businesses that I know of that actually gives back to the communities that they serve through various youth programs etc. I personally think that says a lot about a business.

Great experience at Village Wrench! Took in a couple of bikes recently that I had purchased online. I was hoping they would be willing to give them a “tune up” before I took them on the road, even tho they were purchased elsewhere. They said they were happy to do so! Kat tightened, aligned and greased everything perfectly and made them safe and ready for the road. They were ready before promised and less expensive than quoted! Thanks to Kat and every at VW.....will definitely be back!

This was my first time going to the Village Wrench for repair work on a bike. I have bought stuff from them in the past, and really like the people, the place, and their mission. This time, I wanted to get a 26in Sunringle MTB rim fixed. I busted a spoke casing a drop. I took the bike to another shop in town, and they couldnt fix it because they didnt have the right size spoke.I took the spoke into Kat at the Village Wrench and she custom made a new spoke, installed it, and tuned up the rim. Super professional and quality service.

After a couple of hours trying to optimize my old bicycle myself I decided to take it to Village Wrench. Kat was able to tune and replace a couple of parts that made such a big difference. Awesome shop!! If you need a bike fixed I would take it here not only do they have new parts they have used parts that you can retrofit your bike to make it your own. Also taking it in here might help somebody else get a bike so that they can enjoy riding just as much as you do. The only downfall is there only open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays back if you can make it in on those days they will take care of you I get you back on the road!

What an amazing organization! So thankful to have learned about it and been able to support it. They take old used bicycles (and some related items, helmets, panniers, racks, etc.) and repair them with a totally volunteer staff. Then after making certain a child knows how to safely operate a bicycle, they are given a bike.

I have been volunteering at the wrench for roughly three years in November. Through this time I can proudly say that the opportunities the Village Wrench has provided have made me the young man I am today. In this time I have seen people at the best time in there life and at an all time low. No matter who, what, when, where, or why, the wrench has always been there standing by. The community outreach is amazing. They are constantly helping people. Now off of the mushy gushy stuff. Here are some answers to the FRQs of the shop.1: You can come in and drop off your bike for repairs. You can also tools and donated parts to work on your bike.2: Yes they do accept donations in fact none of the amazing community outreach would be possible without gracious donations.Ps. Safe Riding

Participated in the earn-a-bike program, maxed out my sheet plus some (26hrs) was given a mediocre bike that I had to take back for repairs two days later. The good bikes in there are just for show I guess..I was given the choice between a ladies beach cruiser and some kids bicycles, or the 1994 model Chinese mountain bike I got which has now fallen completely apart. Both brake cables snapped, and the chain came off every day til it wrapped around the derailleur and went through the spokes. Hardly worth $150, for sure. Im lucky I didnt get injured. There were some decent bikes in the shop that I was told were listed on Craigslist but not available.Im just gonna put this out there: There may be a little bit too much mixing of the for-profit bike repair business with the nonprofit 501(c) thing. Everyone likes the concept but the earn-a-bike patrons, the good bikes DO NOT go to the volunteers.I felt like my presence to pick up a bike with my volunteer sheet was an inconvenience or hassle to the other goings-on at the store. New good bikes were flooding into the shop but they DONT GO TO THE VOLUNTEERS!

I dropped by after calling to have take a look at my bike. They jumped on fixing it right away and with in a half an hour they had me ready to go. They werent even going to charge me but I insisted. They also helped a guy from the community that didnt have any money fix his bike which I think was his only mode of transportation. They will come highly recommended from me. Parking is a little tough so be prepared for that.

One star is generous. We drove 90 minutes from Athens after receiving two separate confirmations that the bike we found on craigslist was still available. We arrived to learn it had been sold weeks before the replies were even sent. Other bikes in the shop looked like junk. The owner was just yelling at his teenage helpers; and the environment was toxic and abusive.
