If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve spent the last few weeks working with the emergency shelter side. All Ive gotten is the run around and absolutely terrible communication. Alex the intake girl is incompetent and a liar. Save your time and go somewhere else for help. These people do not care.

We needed help with the electric bill. The staff was helpful, giving us some food and lists of other agencies that could be of assistance. They didnt help us with the bill, but they did provide valuable information regarding other resources available. They provided me with a way to get started.

Visted here during a difficult financial time. Wonderful, kind staff and a generous box of much needed food items all ready put together and ready for me to carry out. Get there early but line moves very fast.

Be aware that if you need help with bills you call at 8.30 am on a Monday morning, They only accept the first 25 callers, you leave your phone number on a machine and then Wednesday you show up at 8.30 am. The problem with this is if you are working Wednesday you have to take off work to go there like me you loose money from your job, time and gas money that you do not have and they do not tell you if you are one of the 25. The way to do it would be to assign a volunteer to call or e-mail if you are not one of the 25. It is very stressful when you are living in poverty.

United Ministries serves and empowers those on the transformative journey to self-sufficiency. We work closely with individuals and families to help them meet their needs.Occasionally we are unable to offer assistance for any number of reasons. Often it is because someone does not qualify for our services or has already received them recently.Mutual accountability is a hallmark of our approach to service and ministry. We value every person and strive to connect them with the resources that Greenville offers, both at United Ministries and elsewhere. The 211 system is another excellent way to access those resources anywhere in SC.Thank you!

United Ministries does so much good for Greenville. If you are in need of assistance with finding work or even doing your taxes please contact this great organization. Our youth group took the poverty tour of Greenville offered by United ministries and learned so much.

This place is a non for profit all right..dont donate a dime into this place! Several times I wasted my gas to find out the schedule is constantly changing. This is a place that kills promises, yet robs donaters their monies for their self gain. If they are so United Ministries, there would be more reviews.
