Absolutely the best birthing experience I remember ever having. Nurses Bailey, Julie, Jazmyn and Marilyn or Maryanne (Im sorry if Im spelling it wrong) especially went above & beyond their obligations to ensure we were comfortable and as confident as possible. Although every staff member was awesome, I cant remember the lactation specialists name either unfortunately but she and one of the night nurses I think God sent me as a guardian angel (bcuz no one seems to know who she was and she wasnt my assigned night nurse that was Nicole) saved my breastfeeding experience and restored my self esteem alongside the support I was surprisingly getting from my husband @TerrillBradford when our daughter wasnt latching. He originally was against breastfeeding but after our stay at Patewood hes been great about it.. my husband was encouraged to be apart of every detail too which was a totally new experience for him as well. We were so anxious because this is our first baby in over 12yrs, weve never had a baby in S.C. at all and with the news changing daily on this pandemic, there was alot to consider but everyone was great, compassionate and understanding. I would definitely recommend this hospital!!

The mask mania is ridiculous. Everyone is temp and symptom checked at the door and is healthy. So why are staff insistant every time they enter a room that every person don a mask? No one is transmitting a germ they don’t have; the staff is already masked; people are taking masks on & off constantly. The sick patients are the ones not masked. Be scientific, people.

I want to personally thank Monica, from the surgical floor for her efforts that go above and beyond the call of duty. Although Dr. Wyland, from Steadman Hawkins was my surgeon, I was transferred to Monica following my time in PAC-U. This is a beautiful facility that runs in a manner that should be enviable to other facilities. Thanks to all, especially Monica, and our other frontline heroes, for an amazing patient experience, during unprecedented times.Appreciatively,Nick Marro

Its ok if you have to have tests done or need a specialist, theyre usually pretty good about getting done and getting you out but I wonder about the results sometimes.

So it’s a pretty place and people are nice... but I was under the assumption I would have a sonogram or MRI or something besides x-ray that I didn’t care to a have. I wasn’t told to take anything for my swelling or for pain I was just told to basically do whatever. Just watch it. That I can go buy a patch over the counter and also wear this little generic sleeve she gave me... was it was a waste of my time and money.?? I don’t feel very secure in knowing what’s wrong with my leg or why it is the way it is. I know she went over things with me but there’s just no definite reasoning or answer...But I’m just gonna watch it like she said.Again they were nice and the facility is pretty... I just don’t feel confident. I can’t say I’d ever come back....

Horrible place to work. Especially for Patient Access at the Enterprise location. The supervisor is revengeful and vindictive. If your under manager Dianne and Supervisor Patrick find something else.

Yet another great GHS experience, within a week no less!! I accompanied my bff to a MRI today. They were backed up, but the staff was great. I want to thank your MRI Tech, Brandi, in particular! You have some great employees, GHS. Hope you let them know they are appreciated. Thank you, again. Wendy Patterson.

The nurses who prepped me for surgery were so careful and caring. IVs for me have been a horrible. They took the time to numb the area in my hand before placing the IV. That really helped to make a stressful situation a little better.

I have had 2 surgical procedures performed at the Patewood Campus, the most recent was on Tuesday, August 4, 2015. The surgeons are great! The post-operative, not so great. I have been discharged on both occasions very hastily and with problems that were not corrected. The most recent discharge complication that was met with several pieces of tape placed over the bandage, and told there is no problem, it sometimes happens. Well the problem is that I have Bupivacaine HCL being deposited on the outside of the wound. I have not pulled at the tubing. The initial problem occurred on Wednesday morning and was addressed with a little tape. This went on throughout the day and on into discharge time, at approx. 11AM Thursday the 6th. When I addressed the problem again prior to discharge, I was given a roll of surgical tape and told to apply whenever it started leaking. Funny thing, it hasnt stopped leaking since I first addressed the problem. Is this how you want your patients to view your hospital personnel?......INEPT!
