I was very pleased with First Lights initial evaluation. The staff is genuinely caring and made my parent and I feel comfortable with the process. The caregivers are well trained in dealing with the elderly, always on time and dependable. They showed love and compassion, and I would highly recommend their services.

In April 2014 it became evident that my aging parents were going to need assistance if they were going to be able to remain in their home. I reached out to Jim at FirstLight to discuss our situation. Within a couple of days Jim and Jenny were meeting with my parents and me to ascertain their needs and develop a care plan. I have been very pleased with the caregivers that they have provided. The caregivers showed a great deal of care and attention to my mother as she progressed through the stages of dementia. For over two years they provided great care through the time my mother passed. Since then FirstLight has continued to provide caregiver services to my dad. They are truly involved with the patient with follow up in home visits by management and provided updates to me and to my siblings. Thank you Jim, Jenny and staff for the care given to my parents, and for helping us navigate a difficult situation. I am very happy to provide a 5 star rating and highly recommend the services of FirstLight Home Care of Greenville.

I called First Light Home Care and within 24 hours they had a loving caregiver in my Moms home to help with daily task. The owners of the company personally came and met with me at my Moms asking critical questions in order to make sure we received personalize care. Even after my Moms passing, they came to the funeral and contacted me to make sure I was doing okay. I have already recommended them to friends.

Have had FirstLight Home Care in my mothers home for about a year now and I couldnt have made a better choice. All the caregivers have come in prepared and ready to go. The office staff has had such good communication with me and my siblings about any sudden changes with our mothers care. Jenny has also made several visits just to check up on her. It became apparent my parents needed help with everyday tasks and basic upkeep & maintenance to remain in their home. The prompt attention, information and compassion shown by FirstLight staff was surprising. From initial assessment to care provided in home - they made a tough process much more bearable. The care givers placed with my parents have been a good fit - but we would have been able to change if we hadnt been pleased! I researched several places and FirstLight may not be the lowest price available, but they are by far the best. My parents have a better quality of life- I have more peace of mind and they are still in their home with their things. Thank you for doing what you do and doing it well.

I have known the owners, Jim and Jenny, for a number of years. They are two of the most caring people I know. Based on Jennys experience as a Director of Nursing and Jims business acumen, I would not hesitate to entrust a loved one to their teams care. I highly recommend!

Do not use this company. I just got off the phone with Jim and was appalled at the way he spoke to me. I am and have been a customer with them for my mother. I can not say enough good things about Michelle but will not use their services again or recommend them. They did not honor the follow up that Jenny and I discussed as far as monitoring my mothers medicine machine. I have called them and stated that I was not getting notifications when the machine was not dispensing. I was told they would look into it. I have never received a follow up call from them. I contacted them because my mothers machine had not dispensed her medicine for at least 7 days. This I was informed when I contacted Philips directly. No one from First Light contacted me but they were faxed notifications from Philips. Jim was extremely rude to me. I have never been spoken to by anyone like he did me. I had not established the account with him but he was telling me what they do not do, even though Jenny and I had made arrangements. When I asked him if he was copping an attitude with me he responded with, Are you copping an attitude with me? Is that how you speak with a customer who is clearly upset because her mother was not receiving her medicine? I recommend contacting Philips yourself and ordering from them.

Excellent care provided from the caregivers. First light really understood our needs and set about to place a caregiver with my loved one who as anticipated what was needed and took care of it. She has become one of the day!

There is little communication between them and their employees. They dont try to fit their clients with the right caregiver they just find someone to work. I stated beforehand that I hadnt done certain things. They didnt even try to train me. First light home care of spartanburg is alot better

The lady who picks up the phone is always beyond rude.
