This review is for one counselor in particular. Who has a complete lack of empathy for trauma victims. If you have experienced trauma and are look for support, go somewhere else!

Our therapist. Frankie Rhodes, is the best ever. My daughter was anxious and depressed, and did not want to go to therapy. Frankie established a bond with my daughter right away and has helped her tremendously. Highly recommend.

BEWARE! If it wouldve allowed me to leave negative stars then it wouldve been -100 stars. It wouldnt allow me to write a review for a specific therapist, but to be clear, I am speaking of one specific therapist person here. I wanted to warn people so that they dont make the same mistake I did in this area. She claims to be focused on the kid involved, but yet when the kid said he had to go to the bathroom, she told him to hold it and wouldnt allow him to go. He mentioned to her that he really couldnt and she ignored him and kept talking. 6+ sessions in, she is still talking with the child about the parents breaking up and asking him if he thinks he has caused it. Keep in mind that the kid has NEVER once mentioned anything about that or brought it up or showed any signs of issues with this. Leading questions with a 4 year old and encourages open discussion about negative things in front of him. She even allows one of the parents, to get upset and start crying and raise their voice in front of the child. She told me that she would have to have both parents sign consent before she could release information to me. However, the mom is allow to call up there and get information from a session that took place with just me and this therapist. I never gave consent for it. We have 50/50 joint custody and shouldnt need the other parents consent for the records. This therapist says that she never told me that or talked to me about that. Really? Too bad I have it saved in a voicemail where she clearly says two times that I couldnt get the records until both parents signed consent for it. So as she was trying to sit there and make me our to be a liar in front of my son, she is the one thats telling lies. If that wasnt bad enough, when I left the room after getting tired of hearing a therapist lie repeatedly, she told the mom that she didnt see any reason why I would be upset that she gave her that information. Really? I mean come on now. And if that wasnt bad enough, this therapist put a 4 year old in the hallway of the place with a bucket of toys and then closed the door with him out there. When I was asked if it was ok with me, my response was No, not really. But of course my opinion doesnt matter and she closed the door on him. The list can go on and on about this so feel free to email if you want me to show you the facts I have regarding this post. If your children are seeing this therapist here, I would be very very cautious especially if you are separated family and dealing with this therapist.
