Dr. Warren is awesome, Ive been to four different Endocrinologists in Eastern NC and none of them are as genuine as he is. A very good physician who cares (few and far between these days).

My experiences with the Endocrinology Dept. has always been pleasant. The entire staff from the moment I walk through the door has always treated me as if I was the most important person there. Always pleasant and very professional. Dr. Warren always makes my reason for being there a pleasant experience. Always shows concern for my comfort level and seems concerned about my well being. And Jenny always has a smile that will brighten any room and will ensure that you are satisfied before you leave. When I leave she makes me look forward to my next appointment. Kudos to all!

Both my husband and I see Melissa Lewis, PA and have had excellent experiences. Melissa has earned our trust by being a patient and kind caregiver. She is responsive to our questions and is a knowledgeable resource. She explains the disease process and treatment options in a way you can understand. The majority of the staff is friendly and competent.

Dr. Azzi is a doctor who sincerely cares about the well-being of his patients. He has a caring attitude, has provided me with useful information about how to improve my health at all of my appointments, and always does so with a great sense of humor. I am so pleased with the technique that doctor Azzi uses with his patients, rather with me. He is thorough and listens to what I tell him about my body. He answers questions of new things that I hear on TV about drug product and can tell me exactly what Ive heard and explain it. Recently, I have not had a doctor as concerned about his patient as he is. I am also pleased with his staff. I feel very comfortable when I walk into that office setting.

I was very pleased with Dr. Lewis and her assistant. They spent time with me and I really appreciate their time. She answered my questions and concerns. I didnt feel rushed. She went over the pricing., side affects, what to expect. All around I was pleased. Great job.

Dr Warren and the support staff are very professional and personable. Dr Warren reviewed my medical history, current prescriptions and doses, and made changes based on his wisdom and expertise in the field. I am very confident that my uncontrolled diabetes is on the way to being resolved!

Physicians East provides excellent care. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time and was immediately taken to an office. The doctor came in promptly, talked to me and I had an ultrasound. They are quick and efficient. They are also very nicel, courteous and care about the patient. They answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend them for care.

Contrary to other reviews, I found Dr. Azad to be brief and superficial in his examination. I had an entire 12 year medical history of my condition, as well as 3 month old blood work with me, but he declined to read or review any of this information.In addition, out of 17 total questions he asked me, he interrupted my answer to them on 12 instances and completely changed the subject following 7 of them. (My visit is recorded to allow for later review, unfortunately, no real usable information was gleaned.)He ended our visit by telling me that he refused to recommend any sort of treatment, medicinal or holistic, until I walked 30 minutes a day for 3 months and cut high fructose corn syrup from my diet. Great suggestions, but theyre not going to cure me on their own. Not when I have a 12 year old condition, that started when I was a healthy college athlete in excellent condition. Thanks for nothing, Dr. Azad. Im not mad at you, but I sure wont be wasting any more money to see you again. $400 for some very basic dietary and lifestyle suggestions that any educated adult should already know.

Receptionist very kind and friendly. Reasonable wait time. Dr. Warren is very kind and compassionate. He is very knowlegeble and always has a solution to improve any complications I am experiencing. I am very grateful to be one of his patients. The nursing staff is very efficient and very helpful.

Both the nurse and Dr. Dodis were very helpful and listened to my concerns. Have also been impressed by this office and the employees because they always seem to care and enjoy their jobs. They are also very helpful answering my questions or looking up the information I may need. Would recommend positively.

The staff here is over-the-top friendly or typically Southern! They worked to get us in at the last minute, they were empathetic, undertaking and Mrs.Lewis, Dr. Warrens PA, is AWESOME! I am big on customer service and they didnt only hit the mark but beat it up and kissed its boo-boo! So happy that we were referred to them. They dont just see the child as a Type 1 Diabetic first, but as a person first. And they deal with the whole person, not just the diabetes part.

The entire staff at Physicians East Endocrinology is welcoming and very conscientious. Dr. Azzi is very thorough and listens intently to what you have to say. He explains in terms you understand about what he plans for your patient care and does so in a very caring way. Dr. Azzi wants to ensure that you are comfortable with his treatment plan.

These guys are wonderful. The receptionists and nurses are very friendly and always have a smile. The doctors take their time to talk to you and find out what is going on and truly take your concerns into consideration when treating you. After 20+ years of feeling groggy and sluggish because of my thyroid, I finally feel better. I moved from the area but still travel over 300 miles to keep my endocrinologist.

Dr. Anthony Azzi took me on as a patient about 8 months ago. I have been very happy with the level of care and attention that he and his staff have provided. I would recommend him to anyone looking for and Endocrinologist.

Physicians East has the greatest selection of medical staff you could ever need. From the front desk to the billing department, you can get the personal attention that you desire. If you need a physician, I suggest you look at Physicians East. (My personal favorite is Dr. Claude Robey, my endocrinologist. She is always encouraging me in my struggle with diabetes.)

Do not go to this place. They have very rude nurses and one doctor in particular. They will treat you like dirt there. After going for many years, my eyes are finally open to the fact that their nurse was very rude to me. I would not take my dog there if I had one. Beware of going to a place like this. I couldnt post without giving it at least one star. I will give it zero stars.

Dr. Regina Dodis recognized immediately that I needed more than insulin pump adjustments (which she did). Very much the professional, always, she still has the most compassion I have ever witnessed in a doctor. My COPD was running rampant. She requested I go to ER and be checked out. I refused (mostly because I felt too weak and out of it to sit in the waiting area for many hours). She consulted, she searched for answers as to what would help me the most with my breathing. She gave me a shot that ultimately helped me get through a horrible time. The nurse, the receptionist that checked me out were also excellent.

Dr. Mark Warren lilstens closely to me, questions me for details and tries to discern what my symptoms truly mean. He is an excellent physician and I am glad to be in his capable hands.

Ladies that are working upfront are very nice and professional. Dr. Azad was absolutely wonderful. He worked me through my symptoms, was very thorough in examining my thyroid and looking at all my previous records. I had a bad experience a few months ago with Phys East Rheumatology and was not enthused when I found out I was being referred to Physicians East Endocrinology. I saw Dr. Azzi and found him to be a breath of fresh air. He put my fears to rest regarding a recent finding of thyroid nodules and spent almost two hours listening and pouring over chronic symptoms I have had for years. I dont think I have ever seen a doctor so thorough and caring. He has restored my faith in doctors. He explained things so I could understand and his suggestions were reasonable and conservative. The front desk staff was very friendly and my nurse was very sweet and outgoing. I was very impressed with the entire visit. I would highly recommend Physicians East Endocrinology and Dr. Azzi.

First, I didn’t put the correct address in my GPS and went to the wrong office. Called Dr. Dodis’ office and spoke with Alice, she gave me correct directions and talked with Dr. Dodis and she agreed to see me even though I was 30 minutes late for my appointment(I had driven from Goldsboro)! Dr Azad is amazing. I have been struggling with so many symptoms for so many years and had so many doctors tell me that I was fine. It was an amazing relief to get Dr. Azad as my endocrinologist and finally find out that I have hyperparathyroidism and pollyistic ovarian syndrome. This is the first Doctor to truly listen and take his time with me. My appointment was an hour and over half of it was with Dr. Azad. His nurse Pam is so sweet and comforting. I love this office. I wish they could be my primary care provider!
