Dr. Apperson is the nicest, sweetest, most kind caring doctor you could want for your child. My granddaughter/daughter, I raised her from age 2 when we lost her parents. She has been seeing Dr. Apperson since she was 7 years old and shes 18 now and has to go to an adult doctor . It broke her heart, but she knows if she ever needs Dr. Apperson in the future, Dr. Apperson assured her that she can always come back to her. Dr. Apperson is the best! She was my pediatric endocrinologist from ages 16-25 and I truly wish I could have stayed on with her as my adult endocrinologist! Dealing with type 1 diabetes is difficult in a general sense, but being a young person with this disease, you feel completely overwhelmed and even helpless sometimes.Dr. Apperson was always so kind and very knowledgeable during my appointments and helped ease a lot of my anxiety that came with type 1 diabetes. I highly recommend her if you are in search of a pediatric endocrinologist as she is wonderful with all ages!
