Dan was not only prompt he called to say he could come early! I had called on a Friday and had an appt the following Monday. I was so surprised to be seen so quickly! He relocated our dryer plug and inspected all connections. His work was neat and professional. He cleaned up well after the job was done. The price quoted was the price I paid (job was quoted before any work was done and the quote was free). I had Duke energy cut off my power due to my electrical panel not being up to code. I was told it have to be up to code for me to get power restored because my panel was unsafe since it was not up to code. So I called around and upstate electrical solutions were the only ones who told me that he come out that day, I got a notification from them 10 minutes after I got off the phone with them let me know that they were on the way. Not only did they respond fast but they treated me as a priority number one they came out gave me a quote and were out early the next day installing my new panel and fixing problems that I had from previous electrical work when the house was built. They were extremely thorough, acknowledgeable, and respectful. They also got all the permits required for me to get my power back on. They made this whole dilemma extremely easy. Your employees replaced a faulty circuit breaker and installed two surge protector outlets. Pleased with the work. However, I asked for an estimate for insulation on an outside electrical wire and was promised a written estimate to be sent to my email but never received the estimate for work that is needed. Would have been nice to get the estimate. Assuming your company doesn’t want the job.

Choosing to not work with property managers because you have had a bad experience in the past is up to you and maybe warranted. When I called today to get information I disclosed who I was and why I was calling. I made it clear after you told me your disdain for property management companies that the owner would call but I was trying to help them get some information. If you were going to be too busy or too expensive, then there would have been no need to give the owner your info. You were rude and unprofessional. We support small business all the time and apparently arent like the others you have dealt with. Our vendors would tell you that we pay same day or next when receiving invoices but again, I respect the choice. You could have given the information and said the owner would need to put in the order and that would have worked. The way you went about it was wrong. Please dont misread my one star rating. It was for your attitude.

The technician was friendly, courteous and seemed to have the right credentials.I was not pleased did not bring the right equipment (ceiling ladder for ceiling fan) to enable him to look at the issue. Thus his conclusion was based on opinion but not facts.

Ian and Dan installed a interlock switch to run a house generator. I had bought the switch myself and unfortunately it did not perform as intended and would not operate safely. Ian has been amazing to work with on our electrical layout for a complete home rewire. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We just bought our first home and quickly found out the previous own had done his own electrical work (very dangerously to say the least.) thank God Ian was there to help us. He walked us through everything. He told us options and never pressured us when we had to save money on certain features. He used LAZERS to align all our ceiling lights. He was SO THOUGHTFUL and THOROUGH! We redid the kitchen and he put in so many outlets- At first I thought too many. Now as I use the kitchen I’m so thankful for him convincing me it was necessary!!! We love our under cabinet lighting- which he recommended. He recommended outlets in places I never thought. (See picture of outlet in bathroom near floor). I actually use that outlet all the time. He also added fans to our deck and add flood/security lights that work great! Ian has a great work ethic. EXTREMELY FAIR PRICES! My favorite: Ian recommended our 1/2 inch flush light instead of canned lighting for several reasons- 1. Didn’t have space & wanted lights and wanted to keep consistency. 2. It doesn’t cast that cone of lighting like the others do. What a huge difference! We are really impressed with Ian. He also helped our plumber fix our pump and install a new ranai system. Without hesitation he returned to make changes to fit our comfort and style.

TESLA HOME CHARGER INSTALLATION. I just got the new Model 3 and had ordered the home charger. I could not find anyone that knew what they were doing and the Teslas website only recommended 2 installers which were outrageously overpriced and they were booked out 6 weeks. I called Upstate Electrical Solutions and they were able to come out the next day. They gave me a fair quote and did an amazing clean professional job. I also appreciated they did not try to sell me any 3rd party products and acknowledged I got the right charger for the car. The two installers were Ian and Anthony. Once again, I highly recommend these guys for home car charger installation.

We called Upstate after we had an electrical fire. He was concerned that we may be uncomfortable waiting and offered to come after hours if we were. We we not so we sent photos and made an appt. Originally they quoted $650.00 for the job. He came on time and fixed the problem and told us that one of the parts he thought was burned wasn’t so it would be $325.00. Neither my husband nor myself would have known the difference. In these days of craziness it did our hearts good to feel confident in this company integrity. If I could give Ian 10 stars I would. Ian and his assistant came by my office after hours and repaired a hydraulic work table. Without this issue fixed I would not be able to do my work. His willingness to come on such short notice was a life saver. Now my table works better then it did when it was new! It was a very specialized issue and his knowledge and experience showed. I hit a hot wire while drilling a hole in the wall on a Saturday. MY hot wire detector told me it was still hot no matter what circuit breaker I turned off and I could see the blackened wire. I cant give enough praise for the way Ian Ramirez performs his work and runs his business, Upstate Electrical Solutions. After buying a new ceiling fan, I contracted with Ian to remove the original and install the new fan. Before starting the procedure he asked a few questions and trouble shot the original fan.With his expertise he immediately could see the original fan was installed with an inferior wiring connection. We were able to keep the preferred original fan and I will return the replacement fan to the vendor.Since the new fan didnt have to be utilized and the additional work required to perform the aborted installation was no longer necessary, Ian reduced the original invoice by two thirds.Ian treated me with the upmost respect and I would highly recommend him for any of your electrical needs. Said he’d call maybe could come out that night or reschedule. Never heard back and it’s been over a week. Missing the meeting doesn’t bother me that much (I get it, things happen and appointments run over) but the lack of follow up is disappointing.
