Dr. Rogers is a wonderful doctor with the best staff! They are top notch! Lauri with light therapy always greats me with a smile and kinds words. She really made my experience there delightful! I would high recommend this group!

I have to agree with the positive reviews; The office staff, nurses, and Dr. Robert Rogers himself, are kind and my experience exceeded the norm when it comes to medical care these days. However, I do have two recommendations: I believe that people should be made aware, prior to getting up from surgery, that the local anesthetic medication contains Epinephrine. I would have skipped my usual extra shots of espresso, as Epinephrine is likened to shots of adrenaline and it took many hours to calm my racing heart following the procedure. Additionally, the Antibiotic prescribed had a significant side effect for me, that I was advised was common when I called to ask if it was possibly the cause of my severe discomfort. I was advised that they would call me back with an alternative recommendation, but no call back was received. Even so, Dr. Rogers is an expert in his field and has never been condescending to myself, nor to my family members who have seen him for different dermatology concerns over the years, as some of the prior reviews indicated. I also agree that his office works like a well oiled machine with regards to timing; I was 15 minutes early to my most recent appointment and only waited 5 minutes in the lobby. Nothing about my experience felt rushed, but I did feel as though I was in extremely experienced, and efficient hands with Dr. Rogers. I was prepared for scaring, as with any surgery of this kind, but the scar is a neat line and considerably smaller than I expected. Thank you, Dr. Rogers, for a job well done.

He recently treated a family member with extreme disrespect. They simply asked him about something they read and without giving them the courtesy of a discussion he had them escorted from the building! And, to make matters worse, did not even bandage his wounds! Did nothing for him except belittle him for asking a question. Arrogant does not even begin to cover how they were treated. I am a patient there also and will not go back

I will start by saying that I absolutely don’t understand why this practice has so many negative reviews. My mom recommended Dr. Rodgers, but after reading the reviews, I was very skeptical. First, getting a new patient appointment with a dermatologist in the Greenville area can take 3-6 months, and I was able to get an appointment here in about a week. My first 2 visits were with the nurse practitioner, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the level of care that I received. As a female, I get very uncomfortable being nearly nude in front of any doctor for any reason, but I was treated with dignity and respect. When one of my biopsies came back negatively, I was able to meet Dr. Rodgers himself for the excision. He was very knowledgeable and kind, and I was treated with the same respect and dignity that I received from his practitioner and nurses. I noticed that many of the negative reviews about this practice concerned individuals feeling “rushed” or they didn’t feel like the staff “cared”. This entire establishment is run like an extremely efficient machine. I never waited in the waiting room for my appointments for any longer than 5 minutes, and that was probably because I showed up 5 minutes early. That says a lot about their scheduling team because I cannot remember a time when I showed up to an appointment on time and waited no less than 15 minutes, usually 30. My time is very valuable to me, and they feel the same. I never felt “rushed” or insignificant to anyone in the office because with every question I had, they offered an explanation that I could appreciate and understand. I would recommend this establishment to any of my family or friends 100%.

Staff was nice but DO NOT waste your time with this doctor. He has to be the most arrogant know-it-all that I have ever met. Money hungry also describes him well.

Dr. Rogers is the best dermatologist in the upstate. Great bed side manner. Extremely funny and easy to talk to. He doesnt waste your time and gets your issues under control faster than any other dermatologist Ive been to. And hes fairly easy to get in with compared to the majority of dermatologists. He also has a great nursing staff, and his PA is amazing if youd rather see a woman.

I absolutely love this practice! I moved to Greenville from the Low Country with a history of Malignant Melanoma. The staff and NP, Misty Seawright have been so thorough, friendly and understanding at each and every visit! The office waiting room and exam rooms are ALWAYS immaculate! My son and daughter are also patients there and love the staff and Misty, as well!

Dr.Rogers is absolutely 💯the best dermatologist I have ever seen. He is very knowledgeable and is a tell it like it is doctor. I completely trust him with literally life. He has found skin cancer on me several times and always follows up to make sure you are OK. I recommend him to everyone and have even taken all 3 of my children to see him.

Dr. Rogers and his staff have been fantastic. They’ve removed 5 precancerous places for me over the last few months. Every time I’m there I am impressed with how kind and friendly they all are. I’m always in and out of the office quickly with almost no waiting. Great experience every time!

Dr Rogers’ “exam” of my upper body was so rushed; I felt like I was just an object. I asked him, you dont need to see the lower body? He told the nurse to give me a full gown & walked out. Upon return, he stood squarely in front of me & said, I just want you to know that what you said just now was very annoying to me. I was shocked & asked what I had said. He said, You said, you dont need to see the lower body? I thought I was just doing upper body; the nurse told me you didnt want lower body. I explained that I had NOT said that, but had told the nurse I was unsure, this being my 1st skin exam, and was told to start w/ upper body (half-gown). Then he lectured ME about how I need to be clear about what I want, & lectured the NURSE about how some people dont know how to communicate very well so she just needs to take charge. He spent more time berating us than on my exam! I said I didnt feel comfortable proceeding now. He said he was just running a business efficiently

The one star is for the staff who have to work with the doctor. Dr. Robert Rogers was very condescending and rude. He told me the results of biopsy taken from my scalp and said “You just have anxiety and you pick your scalp.” There is nothing I can do to help you and walked out of the room. I have never been treated so callus from a Doctor in my life. How hard is it to just be kind to patients? Honestly it really made me feel very sad that a Doctor who became a Doctor to help people could literally hurt patients with rudeness.

Horrible. Went in for an examination that required privacy. Doctor came in, looked at the cyst and said its not cancer. and walked out. I was seeking guidance on cyst removal, not to be told the obvious. Charged me for a consultation that google already told me. No test, no proper examination.This place is a hack

Wasted my time. And gas. Saying they couldn’t treat my acne because my insurance wouldn’t cover because of my age which isn’t their fault, but you could have said something before I drove out my way to your office. They knew beforehand my age and insurance . I should have been informed beforehand

Never had any issues with this office. Unlike other reviewers, I like the fact that the doctors and nurses are fast and efficient, as I dont need to take hours out of work to come for an appointment that takes all day. They start appointments at 7:30 which a lot of places dont. Dr. Rogers and his nurses will sit down and talk to you about any concerns, issues, and questions if specifically asked, but will focus on efficiency otherwise. If youre looking for someone to hold your hand and talk you over every single little thing every visit, this is not the place for you. If you are okay with that however, or have a restriction on hours because of work, this is the place for you

He and his staff have always been efficient and thorough and he has addressed all the presenting issues with professionalism and with excellent results. I highly recommend Dr Robert Rogers for any dermatological issue. Even with a few urgent visits over the years, he and his staff always made time to see us.

The nurse at this office wanted me to come in before they’ll give me more pill refills even with Covid cases increasing. So I asked what precautions are they taking.... and they said that the patient can decide if they want to wear a mask or not when they go in. So I told them I’d find a new dermatologist. This is a doctors office, how can they not REQUIRE masks for patients? Ill keep my acne before I risk unnecessary exposure to Covid.

I work in health care, so I am extremely judgmental when it comes to experiences in any kind of medical office. From beginning to end, including on the phone making the appointment, I was very impressed. My concerns were addressed 100 percent, and I really felt like my health was their number one priority. The doctor was possibly the most focused and thorough practitioner Ive ever had an encounter with, and my nurse was in point. I was shocked to read any negative reviews when I came to write my positive one. If you are writing a bad review because you didnt appreciate how you were treated while you were texting on the offices time and time of patients in the waiting room, Im sure they wont miss your business. They arent there to be your friend. They are there to be health care providers, and you were rude. I actually found this office and everyone in it to have the perfect balance of charm and professionalism. I also appreciate the cleanliness and their understanding of me having to bring my toddler along and of my time.I have moved around a lot and definitely feel like this is the best office of any specialty whether it dentist, gynecologist, or whatever that I have ever been to. I have total confidence in them and will be back and send my husband as well. Thank you for getting me in quickly while I was freaking out and worried about a lesion I found. Ill sleep well tonight.

Ive visited three separate times for three different reasons. Every time I have been pleased with Dr. Rogers and his staff. Ive never had to wait long, and frankly I find him and the staff to be some of the friendliest folks Ive ever met.Dr. Rogers is very knowledgeable and an all around good guy. He puts you at ease and is nice to talk to.His staff is friendly, attentive and are always smiling.I highly recommend this office for your needs. Its nice to know there are still good hearted small practices like this around.

I’m old (60+) ... lots of sun in my history and get lots of questionable atypical spots that require attention. Been seeing Dr Rogers for 10 years, I love this guy and his office.The reviews here seem to be either you love him or you hate him, some people just have to be pampered I guess. He’s way above average as far as I’m concerned.

I get yearly skin checks. Ive been to a few other dermatologists due to moves. It doesnt take long for a mole check. The pro for Dr. Rogers is that he doesnt do unnecessary biopsies like previous places. I appreciate that greatly as I scar horribly. Hes quick and to the point.

This is the only medical office Ive seen run AHEAD of schedule. Others have said the doctor sees you for too short of a time, but the plan/prescription given to me worked within a few days, so clearly they know what theyre doing.

Ive gone to Wayne Rogers and Robert Rogers literally since I was in middle school and I dont have enough great things to say! I love Robes Rogers and drive all the way from NC to go see him. Does he spend a lot of time with you? No - but who really wants their doctors appointments to be long? He gets the job done, always fixes every issue Ive had and did an excellent job with my skin cancer removal surgery with minor scaring. Go here you wont regret it!

Went once and will never return! The doctor is the most condescending and rudest man Ive had to deal with here in Greenville. His attitude was so very arrogant and he acted so much better than me. He was in my room less than 3 minutes, prescribed 2 medicines and didnt tell me what they were, then left. I only find out after picking them up from my pharmacy that I cant use them. A complete waste of my time and money going here.

STAY AWAY. The staff is extremely rude and Dr. Rogers is unknowledgeable about the prescriptions he prescribes. I was concerned about an antibiotic affecting my immune system, and he simply stated it wont affect it. Horrible bedside manner and incompetent.

The odd thing about these reviews is they all contain truth. That is, Dr. Rogers seems competent, but yes, he can be blunt bordering on brusque. My previous dermatologist in another state spent no more time, but managed to make the patient feel special. Yes, probably an act, but a good one. If youre looking for a delightful chairside manner, you are not likely to find it with Dr. Rogers. Still, competence counts the most, doesnt it? Yet it would be better to be pleasant as well as competent. As for the staff, they are as in every medical office I have visited in Greenville. My guess is they are underpaid and overworked. In that environment, efficiency and manners can suffer. Overall, Id give Rogers office a C+. Passing, but not much more. To quote Dr. Rogers himself, I tell the truth, deal with it.

Went in two weeks ago for bumps on my leg and two preexisting bumps on my arm. I didn’t see Dr. Rogers, but a nurse instead. They put a paste called Cantharidine on my legs and sent me on my way - treating the bumps on my arm the same way they did my leg. I told them the bumps on my arm had been there for over a year, but they didn’t look at my arm any further. It’s been over two weeks since my visit, and the bumps on my legs are still inflamed - much worse than before my visit.For dermatologist appointments in the past I’ve only had a small copay. I called when I was charged 140 dollars, and the receptionist informed me that my visit was a specialty visit - strange since I wasn’t given a prescription, and the “procedure” wasn’t really that at all. I don’t mind paying 140 dollars for a visit, but my treatment wasn’t correct for my issue...maybe if they would have spent more than two minutes with me then I wouldn’t have to set up an appointment with a new dermatologist. Back to square one!

Dr. Rodgers and staff are quick, thorough, renowned for skin care and expertise. I trust him with crucial skin issues and sun damage. This speaks volumes for their service. I have been seeing Dr Rodgers for many years.

Dr. Robert Rogers is absolutely horrible! I was a patient of his when I was younger, about 14 years old. Then became a patient with him again at the age of 20. Honestly, the only reason I went to Dr. Rogers the second time was because it was convienent. They do not require a referral from your family doctor, and he also had all my medical records from the last time I was his patient. It seemed like the right decision, at the time. Dr. Robert Rogers is a complete jerk! He appears inconvenienced and rushed during every single office visit. He didnt like answering any of my questions that I had and was literally backing out of the exam room while I was still talking!! His staff is RUDE and UNEDUCATED in the field. Numerous times I was told incorrect information! I called their office to inform them that I was going to run out of the medication they prescribed me before I had my next visit and the staff member told me that there is nothing they can do, we will discuss that when you come back in. At my next visit, Dr Rogers verbally attacked me for calling his staff and apparently harassing them over the phone. EVEN THOUGH his phone line is NOT recorded, so its not like he had proof if I did harass anyone. I didnt know that asking questions about the treatment IM PAYING FOR was harassment. And honestly, the way to keep patients is to keep them happy. So train your staff to be able to answer questions, and dont storm in the room and yell at patients!!!!! He told me to never call his office again and that maybe its best we find you another dermatologist. Frankly, giving my money to that arrogant, coward of a doctor didnt feel right anyways. Therefore I got a referral to a new doctor that had no problem answering my questions and actually spent 45 minutes in the room with me on my first visit and about 20-30 minutes on every visit after that! A doctor should have passion in his work and not just do it for the money. Thats exactly what Dr. Rogers is all about, the money! Save your time, money and emotions and AVOID Dr. Robert Rogers with Rogers Dermatology on Mills Avenue in Greenville SC!!!!

Misty Seawright is not capable of correctly diagnosing skin conditions. This office does not actually care about treating their customers. Their focus is bleeding their customers for services that are not needed! Misty cant even properly write a prescription. Do not go here!

Im soooo glad i found Dr. Rogers 🙏🏻like i dont even know where to begin. I had bad acne for years and years since i was 16 nothing work and now my skin is completely clear from all that acne in just 2 visits yesss in just 2 visits a total of 4 months . What i have left is only the scars which is normal but with the cream theyre fading away. One of my goals this years was to have a clear skin again and thanks to him is happening. So if you have acne problems or any other skin problem give him a chance to change your life .

Robert spent 2 minutes with me.Lied about his treatment plan.Made small of why I was seeing him.Being a doctor is an honor and he completely disgraces his profession.

Since the main office was booked until September, I was able to be seen earlier by the Nurse Practitioner, Misty Seawright, & her assisting RN (I remember her face, but not name; I think it was Melanie). Her office door is to the left of the main door. Anyway, both were efficient and courteous. Im still under Bactrim prescription (free from Publix) until the inflammation resolves, but overall, Im satisfied with the visit & grateful for their care. As a fellow RN, I do care when my providers are patient with their patients :-) , who may be be undergoing other stressors. I felt safe under their care.

Condescending. Told to undress and sit in a chair in front of the door. Then a team of people entered the room. No dignity. The doctor spent about 2 minutes with me and was most unhelpful.

The arrogance many have noted is not favorable especially when paying for a service. Everyone with medical diagnosis issues should call the SC medical board this is one of there duties to align medical professionals.

Over all my experience here was horrible if i could give a negitive review i would! The nurse and her assistant treated me extremely rude! The assistant was poorly trained, In fact there were times during the visit when she had to ask the nurse a question which is fine except i could here her talking about me outside of the door!(Unprofessional)i politely confronted them about it the second time it happened and the nurse did not even appoligize. She Went for the most agressive treatment which i had a terrible allergic reaction to, which by the way was why i was asking so many questions as i am very sensitive to alot of medications. They did not even bother to follow up after i called and told them what i was experiencing from her treatment. The next call was a reminder call for a follow up appointment. Needless to say i wont be going back. This place is just out for a dollar certinly not in the business of healing!

Would not recommend. He was very arrogant and offensive. Showed up exactly for 2 min and start throwing some stupid jokes on me and my skin condition which I though was really offensive. A big NO,NO!

Oddly, I couldnt disagree more with the reviews on this page. Dr. Rogers was very kind, took time to answer all my questions AND he found spots on my that were missed by Dr. Leslie Poinsette and the PA at Greenville Dermatology. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. They rushed me through the appt and made me feel like I was a bother to even be there. Dr. Rogers AND the staff were wonderful to me. I didnt wait more than 5 minutes, everyone was courteous and took their time. I would take a competent/blunt doctor over any one of the doctors at Greenville Dermatology.

I was extremely displeased with my office visit!!! I immediately asked my physician for another referral. The sum of his time with me was apprx. 2 mins., he was dismmisve and offered my 2 pamplets on my way out (contradicted what he told me}. $75 for is office visit was a complete waste of time. I wish I could rate neagtive stars or at least get a refund of my money and/or the fees paid to my second opinion.

Dr rogers is awesome, friendly and funny, always makes me feel comfortable.

Had 3 very small warts. Last time burned other warts off. This time, picked up compound medicine up to treat at home. Broke my whole hand out, blisters everywhere. Had to buy $40 in gauze & wraps, not including the $30 in compound it cost you plus 2 tubes of steroid cream it cost you. Almost a month later, my hand is still immobile and I still cant do my normal chores as usual!!
