The entire staff was so kind and helpful. They made me feel comfortable and werent judgemental like some dentists can be. I am so glad I chose this dentist!

I started with this dentistry when I was 9 years old. Ive been to other dentists in NYC and other parts of Eastern NC. But as an adult I chose to come back to this facility. Why? Because 1) the staff is cordial and efficient 2) the facility and equipment are well maintained, 3) the work done is excellent and 4) I always feel as if I am important when I go to this dentistry.

Visit Very Pleasant !!!! It’s been a while. The staff were nice, friendly & respectful. Dr. Brown is amazing. I experienced no pain during my cleaning & she actually shares knowledge of the oral condition to her patients. Very satisfied !!!!

David Huculak and Elizabeth went way over the top to look after me they were compassionate understanding and always kept me involved and up-to-date. I can’t recommend them strongly ,enough, you won’t go wrong with that team they look after you

I have been having very painful gum pains for literally the past two months If not longer. I have been calling and calling trying to get squeezed in with an appointment but was told I can’t be seen till almost early August smh. This pain is now becoming almost unbearable! You would think that it would not be a problem to be seen due to the pain I am having!! I think it’s time to just try and find a new dentist this is just ridiculous!

At the beginning of my visit, everything went smooth. I had to have a cavity filled in my wisdom tooth, which I thought was weird.. Other dentist have told me to get my wisdom teeth removed, which I had planned, however she said she was going to do a filling so I went along with it, since she is the dentist after all. Halfway through the filling there were some complications and it was going to take a little more time than she expected. It also started to hurt really bad when she was working on me because the novacaine was not working. She gave me an option since it was “lunch time” that she would prefer to come back another day and finish it... Completely unprofessional and made me feel like she had taken priority over her lunch rather than me laying on the table with my mouth open. I’m not sure if it was to get more money from another visit or she was just super hungry? Either way, I never went back and went to another dentist because that made me feel completely uncomfortable. I do not recommend after this experience. It is possible that she felt she could make this decision because I am younger, however, for anyone who doesn’t work in a dentist office, being at the dentist is an unfamiliar environment and for the dentist to make that decision was completely unprofessional.

Dr.Brown was very nice and had a way of making you comfortable and feel at home not nervous like most dentist offices do I have recommended others to her and they were ok she had the personality for her chosen field.

I just had the worst experience at HJ Brown Family Dental Care. The secretary was very rude and impatient with me from the moment we walked through the door. When I went to pay my 5 dollar copay she looked at me like I was an idiot and said they don’t take a card for less than 10. There was no reference to this anywhere. How was I supposed to know. And I usually don’t carry cash but I happened to have a 5 on me. Then they wouldn’t let me go to the back because I had another little one with me. I was told I should have gotten a babysitter. I don’t know about you guys but I can’t just up and get a babysitter whenever one of my kids has an appointment. And again there was not a reference to this anywhere. This place was incredibly rude and not family friendly.

Im totally afraid of the Dentist but this place is above making you comfortable if you are in need of a Dentist I recommend Dr Browns office you wont be disappointed

Dr. Brown is a very gentle dentist that takes her time. I normally have a lot of anxiety at the dentist office but she definitely helped ease that fear.

Ive been with them since 1992 and feel like a part of the family.

The staff is very nice and Dr. Brown takes her time as well..
