We were referred to All About Change by Springbrook(which I also dont recommend) and have had multiple issues with their organization. From the first visit of filling out confidential paperwork with a special needs child around another client and having to answer questions that shouldnt be discussed in front of someone else to all the scheduling issues and disappointments I would never recommend them. We showed up for a session one morning and the therapist didnt even show up. We had another session with a different therapist after that and it went well and we thought was promising only to have her have to cancel multiple weeks in a row and reschedule him only once with someone else so he could have an appointment. This last time I had to send 2 messages trying to confirm his appointment and not until late last night did I even get a reply that she once again would not be there. We would have shown up again to NO therapist. My son thrives on schedule and doesnt do well with change and all they have done is cause major disappointment and constantly letting him down. We have had to deal with episodes because of All About Change when they are supposed to be treating him for these. I understand things happen but for them to continue to lead him on that he will be seen next week and then not follow through or even communicate with me until the last minute is not acceptable. We are returning to his previous therapist next week and will no longer be using any of their services.

All about change is a wonderful therapy office they have amazing trained professionals to work with children of all ages and behaviors. There behavioral modification therapist Traci is amazing she has a skill set that can work with the most difficult child and she results in the child’s behaviors. I would highly recommend All about change for children and parents who seek to see positive change in there children.

I’m pretty disappointed. This place was listed on my provider list and after reading the reviews, I decided to call. I was instructed to go online and fill out an application and someone would get back with me as soon as I did. I went right on the site and did that. I never heard back from them until a few days ago. It’s been almost 2 months. Someone left me a message and I called back only to get a voicemail and still no call back a week later. I understand with Covid, things are backed up. People need mental health help now more than ever. I reached out to them because I needed/wanted help, which is literally the service they provide, and I’ve been waiting for a call for 2 months. It should not take that long to at least reach out. Send an email, a letter, a text to let a potential patient know you’ve seen their application and you’re working on it. Very disappointed in their customer service and their lack of communication during a time when so many people need their services. I’ll be going somewhere else for therapy. No longer interested.

Complete joke!Terrible customer service. They answer the phone sounding lost and disoriented. Whomever I spoke with seemed young and inexperienced, like it was her first day. She kept asking another lady questions. Do not recommend especially after reviewing the other reviews.

My daughter has been going to therapy here for over 3 years. She has a wonderful therapist. The staff has gone above and beyond to be supportive. We also have a family secession each month. The staff here are dedicated to helping children. They genuinely care for the clients. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I definitely would refer All About Change to anyone that is in need of emotional support and direction. The staff is nonjudgemental and very professional. My family is blessed to have the support they have given us.

I have tried to get help for my child for 3 or so years at several different agencies. Over the years I have had one therapist tell me this and one therapist tell me that. My child has been in and out of placements that have referred us to several different agencies. It wasnt until DSS recommended that we give All About Change a call that everything started to finally look up. The office is so warm and inviting. The day I came in was very busy but you could tell each staff new everything that was going on and didnt miss a beat. The lady who answers the phone is also the one who scheduled our first appointment with a therapist and even told me We want to make sure our therapist is the right fit for your family. And the therapist turned out to be just what we needed. Kuddos to this office for making us feel like we finally made it. This entire team of ladies has helped my family so much!!! I was on my last leg when I contacted them. The process took a few weeks but once we got started they were on top of everything. I am truly grateful for everything that All About Change has done and is continuing to do for my family. Thank you ladies so much!!

I brought my little sister here as we were ordered to after a tough time and a stay at the hospital. We enjoyed to first few people we talked to but then spoke with a lady that seemed very nice and understanding at first but caused a lot of harm in the end. My little sister thought she could be open about her feelings but was proved wrong as the lady called her mentally ill mother to share most of what my little sister said. In no way did anything my little sister say break any code that would qualify as something that should break the confidentiality code. Im disgusted with people that treat their clients like that. We will never come back nor will we ever say another good thing about this place.

We had a family case with DSS that required counseling for our granddaughters. We were referred to All about change. We have had several issues with the counselor and finally requested to be moved from the practice. Issues from unprofessionalism to unethical practices. We will not recommend this group.

Our doctor sent over a referral about a month ago and they just called this past Tuesday. The lady on the phone said tomorrow I will email you over the forms. Lets just say Im still waiting on those forms. Called the place this morning and kept getting a machine stating it was after business hours even though they have been open for at least 2 hours. Once I got a hold of someone at the office, I let her know why I was cancelling due to the reviews I read, she acted like Im crazy. Shes like what reviews? Umm its called Google

Ok so I never give review but in this case I must. BACKSTORY: The only reason we went to this place was because I got married a year ago and my husband and his previous wife had 6 children. While going through the divorce the children dealt with a lot. Hubby took the children here while going through that, the ex wife caused a lot of issues so it stopped after the evaluation. When we got married I suggested because of the issues I noticed in the girls our daughters needed to talk to someone, a non judgmental 3rd party. He said he liked the lady at this place. I called and she was no longer there. So we ended up still going to see someone else. When we walked in ... they werent very welcoming like a yea whatever, its early morning get you in and out kind of thing. The heavy set woman in leggings has a condescending know it all attitude. She had a certain air about her. My daughter felt very uncomfortable with the way the woman she finally talked to talked to her shes 16 not 9 and she felt as if someone was trying to lure her into things she normally wouldnt say on her own. My family is black and truth be told we are all humans but have different experiences. Black children face issues not mostly dealt with non blacks. She has to deal with colorism, sexism dealing with aforementioned colorism, racism, shes goes to a majority white school, she has a dark complexion, shes over weight with low selfesteem, her hair is natural and kinky not the normalweave beyonce look, and we are a sort of afrocentric family. So these issues with police dealings, injustice and more etc..are our daily dealings.. It was easy to see at this place a 30s something year old suburban white woman couldnt help with an inner city kid. (WE ARE NOT FROM SOUTH CAROLINA BUT FROM UP NORTH)Its the same with most schools seeing as most teachers are white females who dont understand nor care to recognize and how can they help deal with the weight of these things. I informed my husband about my daughters and I reservations, but he stated it was just an evaluation and it could get better. So anyway after first appointment my hubby and myself pleaded with out daughter to give it another go. We had to reschedule because my daughter plays basketball (team captain), plays in the band, and runs track. When I called back to reschedule I recognized the voice it was the heavyset woman with the attitude who wears the size to small leggings( dont know her name, but the description should let the company know who it was) When I called to reschedule same heavy set woman told me maybe you should call back when yall get it together, im like mam thats why im calling to reschedule. Her tone, attitude, and unwillingness to help SET ME OFF. Maybe if we paid cash instead of medicaid, maybe she had a bad day, maybe, maybe, maybe, but thats not how you handle clients.First they need more options when dealing with children schedules. Secondly, Im a manager in customer service, I have fired employee for less not to mention if they dared to treat customers horribly or disrespectfully. I mean if you deal with children the have school and other priorities. I even after speaking with Rudeness Rosanne still made appointment. Then later talked with hubby and he and I decided maybe not the best fit for us. So I called and canceled. We have since found and seen another therapist to help with her depression, worry, and after shocks of her parents divorce and we love it there. And again... its just how it went with our family you may have a totally different experience,. I just felt it should be known since these are reviews right? I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOUR A MIDDLE CLASS OR UPPERCLASS FAMILY WHO PAYS WITH SOMETHING OTHER THAN MEDICAID even though I guarantee thats more than half their clients considering while we were there for 2 hours no others clients came other. Maybe you will get talked to and treated differently. They really need to do something about that heavy set office girl with the leggings. Mrs. Powell
