I have only been going here for a few weeks, but I can tell a huge difference in my neck that I, honestly, didn’t even realize I needed. Everyone there is super friendly and super helpful be it the receptionists or the chiropractors. I’ve enjoyed my visits and their effectiveness thus far.

I’ve been going to Dr. Scota now for over a year! I can tell a big difference in the way my body feels. He has helped my pain go away in my back and shoulders! The staff is so nice, professional, and friendly. Every time I go in the office everybody is so pleasant!

I live with long term chronic pain. I never tried Chairopractic before. I have had injections, PT, multiple antiinflammatories, both oral and topical. These doctors, much more than any medical doctors I have seen, care about me and truly want to help. They are honest and highly professional. Dr. Scota has been treating me. He is steadily making headway. My level of pain has been reduced more than any of us thought it could. It is not gone by any means but I have had more progress in 2 months then I had in the last 3 years.

After seeing many Chiropractor’s in my area, I must say, that this office is just what I’ve been looking for! The “hands on” technique is what I love and the in house massage therapists. The staff is very warm, welcoming and caring. It’s worth the 40 minute drive for me to feel better with excellent Chiropractic care.

I tried to put off back pain for 2 weeks without any relief and it got to the point where I couldnt even dress myself. After a few visits I was able to do basic activities without much pain and after about 2 weeks almost all of my pain is gone. I still have a few visits to get it all corrected.

I was actually referred to the Popwell-Scota Spine Center by another chiropractor!-Go figure!.Anyway, the problem was: I hid my shin Very hard.-So hard, that it not only bruised my shin badly and caused great pain, but damaged the peripheral nerve as well. The morning after I hit my shin, my right lower back hurt so badly I had to stand and hold on to the wall beside my bed before I could walk. (I work at a gym so THIS was NOT going to be good for my job security!) I went several nights with no sleep, and taking hot baths to try to relieve pain-to no avail. Slightly longer story short- and after consultation and discussion about what exactly happened and the symptoms that I was having, Popwell-Scota sent me for x-rays. Because nothing was broken, chipped, etc., Dr. Joe adjusted my lower back, and with his usage of experience and education, combined with Gods wisdom, he immediately diagnosed me with peripheral nerve damage-which resulted from the hard hit to my shin.Truth: After the FIRST adjustment, I felt such relief that I was ecstatic! I slept almost the whole night! I felt like a different person!.- I went twice a week, and each time, I was better and better.-Now, I am going every 3 weeks, once a week, and whereas there is no pain, the damaged nerve affected the muscles in my leg, so Dr. Joe is adjusting my back and lower leg to get them where they need to be.Lastly, (and did I say I was making a longer story short??:)- I have had 2 children-natural childbirth, but the pain with my shin-hit was worse than that.I thank God that he led me to Popwell-Scota Spine Center, and would without ANY hesitation, highly recommend Dr. Popwell and Dr. Joe Scota to anyone who needs chiropractic help.By the way,-the staff is very courteous and nice also.:)God speed!Susan Owens

Ive been visiting Dr. Scota for a couple of months now and he has really helped me in the process of healing my back. I injured my back when I was lifting weights, and was really worried that this injury would last several months. However, Ive only been visiting Dr. Scota for about 2 months now, and each time I get adjusted I feel a lot better. Hes always very patient with me and willing to answer any question that I have. Ive been treated by Dr. Joe Scota for 5 years now. When I first went to them, my back was a mess, constant pain. They took X-rays, did an evaluation, explained the findings to me and set me on a path of recovery. It worked!! Now I have an appointment once a month for alignment. This is the place you are looking for.

I think Dr. Popwell and Dr. Scota are wonderful chiropractor. My reason for only 2 stars is due to the fact that one or more office staff tested positive for COVID and patients were not informed.The fact that there are patients like myself that are immunocompromised and are putting their trust in this office to be treated like this is astounding.I was not told of the COVID contact until after my treatment with said person. Yes they stayed out of the office but what about before they started showing symptoms and patients were in contact with them.

Everyone at the office has always been so kind. Dr. Scota is always so thorough and kind and does such a good job. I really love Ana who has done my massage; she has always been super caring and patient and made me feel much better. I highly recommend especially for Motor Vehicle Accident adjustments.

Great Care and staff. They truly care for their patients and create a wonderful environment for the patient. After sustaining an intense back injury in the gym I tried many different treatments and doctors and found no relief. I finally visited Dr. Scota and after careful evaluation, X Rays, consultation and education he began treatment and I almost immediately began to get relief. The blending of Chiropractic care and Active relief therapy had me back in the gym in just a couple weeks. I continue to get sustained treatments which has improved my overall health and athletic performance. Dr. Scota will be part of my health journey for many many years to come. I cannot recommend this group enough. You will not be disappointed.

I suffered a deep back injury after being jolted horseback riding. I waited for 6 weeks before seeking help. Dr. Scota did a thorough exam and spent time explaining the diagnosis. After a few ART treatments + massage the problem completely resolved! Excellent caring staff!

Dr. Scotas use of ART (Active Release Technique) has worked wonders for relieving the pain caused by tightness in my hips and back. He continues to pursue educational opportunites to advance his knowledge of treatment therapies (even though his knowledge is already clearly extensive!) and truly strives to relieve his patients pain. He was recommended to me by fellow athletes and Im tremendously grateful that they did so! I highly recommend his practice.

I have been seeing Dr. Scota for many years and have always been pleased with the service and attention given. Whether needing help with specific issues (hand pain when playing piano) or for regular monthly maintenance visits. Wait times are a little slow at certain times of day, but so are most doctors offices. I would gladly recommend them to anyone seeking chiropractic care.

Today I tried visiting this location for my first ever experience with chiropractic care and honestly I’m startled by the amount of positive reviews for this location. My experience was terrible!!!1) I waited about 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. I scheduled my appointment several weeks in advance.2) Once I was seen by Mr. Scota, he made many comments self-promoting his skills and experience. He also made bizarre overly personal comments such as “Your husband must be tall because you’re tall, I bet your dating pool was narrow.” It was uncomfortable and not appropriate.3) No treatment was completed on this first visit and the cost was at least $175. After waiting, Mr. Scota took X-Rays and told me to come back for a second visit where he would tell me the results. The third visit I would actually receive care.4) The provider availability is limited (half day Fridays, day starts at 8:30, only works 3 days per week, etc.). After spending so much time in waiting rooms, I don’t have trust that they’ll be timely in future appointments. The ask to miss that much work to be treated is too much!I would not recommend this practice.

Been going here for 7 years. The staff is great and relate-able. Very much a family atmosphere. Dr. Scota is amazing and love talking with him. I may only come in 5 to 6 times a year but he remembers what we talk about each time and even tells me he is praying for those things in my life. Really appreciate this place and wouldnt go anywhere else!

I have been seeing Dr. Scota for 8 years now. Ive been to a lot of chiropractors since early childhood, and he is the only one that I believe truly understands my needs and helps me. He has helped me through a car accident, multiple injuries, 3 pregnancies, and pain management for my chronic back condition. He has also helped my children with problems when nothing else was working. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and quick to address my needs. The staff is super sweet. I dont know what Id do without them.

I was desperate for relief when a friend told me about the Spine Center. I went, without much hope, but was tremendously impressed. My pain was alleviated in a few visits (like 3-4, not 10-12). So impressed that I will remain a patient foreer, as needed.

I found Dr. Scota after experiencing low back pain for several months. I had tried ART (Active Release Therapy) with a different physical therapist to try to help ease the pain but was not making any headway. I made an appointment with Dr. Scota to see if he could provide any additional help. Dr. Scota took the time to find out what was really going on and has been able to combine chiropractic help with ART to bring healing. My pain is almost completely gone after just a few weeks of treatment. And the marathon that I had almost given up on running- I am now training to complete! Thank you Dr. Scota!!

I have been coming to Dr. Scota for ART (active release technique) for my plantar fasciitis. I have tried so many other things to help improve my plantar fasciitis but nothing worked until now! He has helped me so much!
