I have worked with The Sunshine House twice in my lifetime. My first time was as a teacher many years ago and now as a recruiter. I love my job and the people I work with on a daily basis.

These are great people and I appreciate all theyve done for our family! Everyone Ive dealt with is friendly, professional and polite no matter the day or the situation. Thank you for all of your hard work!

I just wish this company would show thier Employees a little more respect and compassion. It is very heartbreaking that these employees still have to work during this very difficult time in our country. It is crazy that they have to make a choice rather to use their PTO now or save it in case of a emergency. Its heartbreaking that they have to risk their lives literally and put thier own families aside to go in to work. The Governor of our State suggested closures BUT what is still open? I get it some parents still have to work but what about your employees who have their own children at home? Instead of investing in new lobby furniture which is ONLY MATERIAL THINGS INVESTYOUR HARDWORKING EMPLOYEES. They are the reason your Company is Running!!!

Sunshine House in Cartersville Georgia is all abut money and not the welfare and safety of any child......they have always been very hostile against my daughter and that makes me wonder how did they treat my granddaughter, my daughter is an essential worker and they were mad because she chose another Pre-K program and disenrolled my grand-daughter....so unprofessional and I will tell anyone and everyone not to take their children here.

I was just told my son can no longer attend here if I dont pay for every week even if hes not there. I work every other week because I work a 12 hour shift. My son only goes the weeks I work. So why would a have to pay for the week hes not there as well? They said they have other people wanting his place in the class cause the class is full. This came from the head director. So pretty much you dont care about helping parents out when needed. I thought that was the reason beside people work for the love of children to have a daycare. This place puts money before the children! This is horrible!!!!!!!

I have been a Center Director for Sunshine House since 2011. I appreciate how personable and approachable my Leadership Team is. I often feel supported by my Regional Director and Vice President of Operations, Education Team, Facilities Management and CEO. My co-workers are more than just co-workers, they are my friends and family.

I actually give them no stars. I worked here for 8 months and was Lead Teacher in Infants. I was very flexible often coming in early, missed lunches and stayed later. Whatever they needed I did. My mother got sick and was hospitalized and I missed a couple days of work. Then she went home on Hospice Care and I went to be with her. I couldnt take FMLA cause I hadnt been there a year. The Regional Director told me to fill out a leave of absence. Then HR called and said I couldnt take a leave of absence cause I hadnt been there a year. I got an email from the Regional Director and she said I would be replaced and I could apply for a job later. I would start over and lose my health insurance. Then 10 minutes later my mom dies. I lose my job and my mom. This company doesnt care about the employees. Especially Theresa the Regional Director. Do not work here or bring your kids here.

ZERO STARS?????Terrible, unprofessional, extremely rude! Teddi Gamel who has only been with this company for a few months has turned the Sunshine House in Grove City into a nightmare. She has run off teachers, families and the director who has spent the last 5 years working to get the place together. Teddi kicked my 5 year old son out of the center for having a normal meltdown, then lied and said i wasnt bringing him back. After contacting corp numerous times, i was told he could come back only if a behavior specialist could observe him. I agreed to that and then they decided that wasnt a good idea, and that he should be placed on their waiting list since i had withdrew him. To this day my son is still active in their system. There is no waiting list because parents are pulling their children out of this daycare. Corp has refused to return any of my calls, and I was told Penny said she wasnt going to deal with me anymore. Teddi is also threatening to kick my other 3 children out so she will not have to deal with any issues from me if they are attending. Very professional i might add. I have had 5 children enrolled here for years and until this Teddi showed up everything was running smooth. I have contacted my local news stations as well as an attorney because i feel at this point my son is being discriminated against and now so are my other children who still attend. This place will be hearing from my attorney and will be exposed on any media outlet I can speak to!!

Staff including director is just horribly rude, if shes still even there. Obviously only care about money and dont like their jobs. Too small and crowded. Idk why this place is still open. Nothing I could possibly say good about them. If I couldve rated 0, I wouldve.

This place treats their staff with no respect and their children are out of ratio often. The children come after the money and favoritism is played. The equipment is horrible and there are no supplies for the children to do crafts. The environment is hostile.

I would get a zero but you cant they wont let my son come back BC they this k he need to go to therapy or to be on meds and the the people there will tell me that its just my 4 year old son is the the problem but its the teachers that dont know how to take care of a 4 year you dont ask a 4 year what they want you tell them and the want my daughter to stay no thank you just give me time and she will be gone too
