Terrible ! Ashley Luster is the billing person. She is rude and does not reply about your bill. They harass patients at the window to pay a bill every visit when you have already mailed it. They demean you in front of the waiting room patients and seem to know whether you have received an EOB or not. They refuse to give out the practice managers name. This practice is only about your money. They DO NOT CARE about your pain. Wont go back.

Awful staff. They give patients a hard time about their accounts in plain sight of other patients. They do not return phone calls. They care a lot about money but not much about treating patients with pain - especially Dr Mironer and Ashley. When you come in for your monthly appointment they dont care how you are doing. If you say anything they dont like you are threatened with termination.

This is the WORST dr office. Peggy told me my visit would be $210 and that only 1 dr took my insurance. I checked with my insurance and the visit should be $85 and 5 drs there take my insurance. Then Peggy sent me to Tracey and she told me $235. I called my insurance AGAIN, 3RD TIME, and they didnt understand either and gave me the billing codes they should be using for the type of visit I needed. This wonderful office wanted to bill me $235 for the dr to LOOK at my results. I have never and will never pay $235 for a dr to LOOK at some results unless he can tell me for sure that I have 10 winning million dollar lottery tickets. Ill be filing complaints with my insurance and the licensing board.

Horrible staff. No phone calls despite being in severe pain, they didnt file the approval for a desperately needed procedure until I spoke with someone who went over their heads. No returned calls, no concern for patients. You are at their mercy, which is bad considering they have none. Any other company would be put out of business for such consistently lousy service. Appalling.I would have driven there, except they wont let you in unless you have an appointment!.

I am a caregiver for my mother and we had received a letter that her current Pain Management Physician was no longer covered under her insurance. Thankfully, this was an incorrect letter. Her PCP had sent a referral to them and I had reached out to them. After no return response in about 30 days I called. Got forwarded to the same voice mail I had left a message in before. Out of frustration I called back to ask the receptionist if they are even accepting new patients. She said they were and to try and leave another message (insert eye roll here). I have never experienced this type of response when trying to get my mother taken care of. I am already under enough stress with taking care of a family of 4, youngest being 3, then taking on my mom and fighting for her. I think a doctor office can be run a little more efficiently. I am thankful for her current pain doctor and their concern for her. So happy I do not have to change her doctor after all. You dont realize how great your doctor is until you have to attempt to find a new one.

Horrible staff.. Refused to call my insurance company to verify my insurance.coverage. Would not accept letter from insurance company for a rescheduled appointment. They hung up on my health insurance company when they called to talk with them. Canceled my appointment within a couple minutes of my arriving because they could not bring up proof of my insurance. Blamed the insurance company for the problem. Then a few minutes later told me they would go ahead and do appointment if I paid $300.00 . Rude and incompetence staff.

I have NEVER been treated SO rudly from office staff!! They can not keep the schedule straight, and try to make you feel like it is your fault.I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone. Every time I try to give them another chance, they are not only rude to me, I watch them treat other patients even worse.

Awful office, was denied services due to having a service animal. Made multiple different excuses... Everything from cant have the dog in the room because of needles to no enough room for more than 2 people... Treated me less than human.

Dr.Hutchinson is very insensitive and very short. He does not take the time out to listen to you to see what your needs are. He injected my SI Joint TheInjection relieved the pain about 50-70 percent. He is confused on what is wrong with me. My advice to him is to work on the way he delivers things to his patients. He may be a great person overall, I just disagree how he delivers information. He has given no pain meds for any of my pain. I have just been dealing with it and doing my PT.

I have never had a problem here. I have always been treated fairly and with compassion. My quality of life has improved since I have been under their care. I have followed their recommendations and honored my contract with them. I have been under their care for 3-5 years. Their staff has to deal with people who are not at their best, are in constant pain and are more than likely depressed as a result of it. I think their staff handles their jobs well in spite of the challenges they face on a day to day basis. Props to you guys and gals. PS I believe Dr Hutcheson does pain relief by day and comic relief by night! He cracks me up sometimes!

Have been trying to get the office to call me to schedule an appointment. I had to finally just drive there to get the appointment after leaving numerous messages and no returned call. I also had to switch doctors to get one that could see me in a timely manner. The staff was friendly I just think the office is extremely unorganized from experiencing their customer service and watching the office function.

If you are looking for drugs as your first answer, think again. They give you a plan, options, suggestions, insight....I am so pleased with what I experienced today.

I have been going to Carolinas Center for Advanced Management of Pain for almost a year. I have received great care. Dr. Hutcheson and staff are always professional and kind. I don’t have any problems getting appointments when I need to reschedule. I have been treated with the upmost respect and all my concerns are addressed as needed. Thanks to each one of you who makes my visit worthwhile and pleasant.

It is nearly impossible to get an appointment at this place! They never answer their phones and you have to leave a voicemail that doesnt get answered for 2 to 3 days. You better hope that you arent in severe pain because it doesnt matter! Youll be waiting for an appointment for 3 weeks. This place is a joke from start to finish.

This practice is beyond horrible!! I was a patient their for years and from the time you walk in the door the whole air is like you have done something wrong just showing up. I could tell many stories but I’ll sum it up by saying they treat their patients more like animals than people. Don’t go to this practice you deserve better.

Very unorganized and unprofessional. Had to change insurance in between appointments and because of a careless blunder with the office staff, I had to drive 42 miles only to be denied scheduled testing. Then tried to reschedule and was informed I couldnt be seen at thier office anymore. Please research your options for pain management. Clearly, some are competent and some are not.

Rude Dr. Did nothing for my wife after a fall.Then the Dr. Called and was very rude on the phone.They scheduled 5 appointments without our knowledge of wht each one was and what they were for.They also scheduled a medical procedure 12 days after her meds ran out.T j ey are only concerned about whether people are abusing their meds.

Worst place Ive ever gone. Dr. Hutchinson is very rude and insensitive. Went for debilitating migraines and told me he was sorry I felt bad, but refused to do anything for me in the meantime, while we wait on the Veterans Hospital for approval. Which could take up to at least a month if approved. Now I have to rely on ER again. Like we all have the $$ for that. What a jerk. Thanks Peggy and DOC, have a great Christmas. I bet your pain free and sleeping well at night.

I had a good experience with this practice. Dr. Ju was professional and thorough. The staff was polite and helpful. I’ve been to two of their locations and each experience was much better than the experiences I’ve had with other medical practices in the GSP area.

Doctor was great, but the absolute trash they have working for them is horrible. These people need to realize that Patients are the same as Customers. I have been repeatedly been talked to horribly on the phone when they actually answered the phone. Most times all you will get is a voicemail and a call back a few days later.

Highly TICKED off!! I went here as I normally do and the checkout receptionist (dark haired bob) Lady was talking to a guy but he wasn’t checking out. INSTEAD OF HER COMING TO THE CHECK IN window where I was waiting for assistance due to the check in clerk being away from her desk this lady made me stand there for 5 minutes or better while she carried on a FULL BLOWN CONVERSATION with the guy ABOUT NOTHING!! It wouldn’t have taken 2 seconds to see what I needed!! I was asking if I needed to wait for a urine analysis before going to the restroom AS THE SIGN ON THE RESTROOM DOOR CLEARLY STATED!! She continued to say I’ll be with you shortly WHILE STILL TALKING, I could see if she was really assisting him but she wasn’t it was a casual conversation AND I AM HIGHLY PISSED about this experience especially WHEN I HAVE TO PAY MONEY OUT OF MY POCKET TO BE SEEN HERE!! You guys NEED to UNDERSTAND what customer service is ASAP!!

Dr Haasis is very good with giving injections in my knees.He make you very comfortable talk you thorough the procedure and what to expect I think my knees getting better til I start back hurting but overall I think hes a terrific Doctor and has a good sense of HUMOR😄😄

My first visit will Dr. Ju. It was far more than I expected. He listens and responds with concern and recommendations. Three employees including Dr Ju stayed after hours to treat my pain. Best of all he sings to you during the treatment. I highly recommend Dr Ju and his services.

Before I was introduced to Dr. Ju I had absolutely debilitating back pain. I had a spinal surgery when I was 21 and then again when I was 63. The last one and 63 was very successful however I have lots of hardware in my spine L3 through S1. Screws and rods and cadaver bone.When I have visited other pain clinics or pain management it seemed that no one was interested in trying to help me once they saw the x-rays of my back. They only offered medication, PT, and shrugged shoulders. I am opposed to taking pain meds.Dr Ju injections help me to return to gardening and painting. He is the first doc I have seen that listened to where my pain occurs. Thank you Dr Ju, Carolina PainManagement!

They ordered a $17,000 MRI, I never got the results to my GP, or myself, they ordered a back brace for $$$$ not sure how much, I never received it. When I got the shot in my back it hurt so bad felt like taking bone marrow. Will never go back but wish I had my results for my regular doctor Amana Austin. They dont answer the phone either. I want all of it taken care of its been 7 months too long.

I received a phone call from the Greenville office one week before my appointment in Anderson. They said my appointment was next Wednesday and asked if I could change the time of day. I agreed, but two days later realized that my original appointment was the day before (Tuesday). I called back and referenced the change in time and asked if the date had changed also. All they would say was that my appt was on Wed. I asked if they were sure because my appt card says the 24th (Tues). They said yes, it is Wed but never would confirm the calendar date or if it had changed. I was calling on a speaker phone and my wife heard the conversation. So, I went on Wed the 25th and the office was closed. It is over an hour drive from my home and I had rescheduled an appt with another doctor. The amount of inconvenience unbelievable. I had to buy lunch in town, drive round trip over 100 miles, etc, etc. So, I called Greenville and spoke to the lady that had told me to go on Wed. She said she didnt know why she would have said Wed because they are closed on Wednesdays. I was aware that they are not open every day, but was not sure about the schedule. They said I was a No Show. I said I better not get billed because I am never a no show. I will always call if I cannot come. But, I am not stupid and my wife and I can hear well. My appt cards stay stuck on the refrigerator. I was told Wed during two different phone calls, the second of which I was insistent and said, Are you sure? A similar event happened a few months earlier when I received an automated call to confirm an appt. The recording had said my appt was another month away. I go once a month. I called to confirm and they denied and agreed all in the same conversation. Then, finally insisted that my appt was another month away. I had to ration my pain pills by breaking them in half, and take over the counter pain meds until my appt. I will run out of pills before my rescheduled appt due to the Wed error. Be aware if they try to change your appointments and confirm before you go. Something is wrong with this place. If this happens again, I will write a letter of complaint to the state medical board.

I’ve tried to call the Greenville location multiple times to reschedule an appointment and the office only has 1 line and nobody capable of picking up the damn phone. All they do is socialize in there. Don’t expect to get ahold of anyone on the phone or while you wait at the front desk because half the time nobody is there.

Dr. Haasis is a joke. I went in for a nerve disorder that causes severe pain in my leg. He sent me for all these tests for my back, I have nor ever had back pain, the technicians looked at me weird when they asked where my back pain was and I told them I didnt have any back. Now the kicker: he wants me to have some diagnostic test done at the hospital but the hospital wont do it and he wont see me until all the test are done. So instead of telling right off he couldnt help me he sends me for all these test, that I had to pay 20% of, instead and never sees me again. What a joke this place is but the staff at the front of the house were great.

I was referred to this office after spending over 4 years going to regular Dr’s and 3 Physical Therapist and a Chiropractor. In the beginning the had X-rays and a scan done on my lower back. They shortly started me on pain medication which took some getting used to but at least was treating the pain so I could sleep at night. Then a few months later they did an injection which actually worked. For two weeks I could sleep until I tried to help a lady one day and try and push her car which sent me too the ER. Another scan and more pain medicine followed up with injections in areas that weren’t even areas that bothered me and were no help. At one point my insurance lapses and I still paid to have them continue to inject me. And then they went in and burned the nerves in my back. This only caused my butt to burn and be numb for several months. This year I was assigned a new Dr due to what I believe was a lot of them retiring or just leaving.My first visit with Dr Hutchinson felt more like a trip to a fast food restaurant. Having never seen him before he spoke to me for maybe a minute, the exam was a mere 15 sec and then he stated I would be a good candidate for an experimental implant and told me I need to make a decision that week. In talking with the consoler doing the new device I realized I didn’t fit the bill and if this didn’t work I would have this battery and device in me forever. I asked Dr Hutchinson about the fact that if it didn’t work that I would want it removed. He stated that it wasn’t an issue leaving it in. Upon this visit he cut my dose by one pill a day and scheduled me for another MRI which cost me another 900$. That scan showed a bulging disc below my neck where I wasn’t even having pain. They had ordered this scan in the wrong area and told me it wasn’t an issue.My next visit a month later was even shorter with him ordering another MRI and telling me he was going to reduce my medication another pill a day which was very hard to do considering I had been on it for over 3-4 years. As well I got another injection which amazingly worked for a couple days. It’s what I wasn’t told that was written on the bottle was a taper schedule down from 3 pills to 1 a day over 4 weeks. I figured out about 2 weeks in what they had done. 3 years I’ve been on this medication. At some point I had them reduce the strength because I felt it was too much.My last visit a hell month later they told me the MRI showed two more bulging discs in my lower back but they were not severe enough to cause my pain. I didn’t see the dr just a nurse. When I told her about the injection working for a few days she said I’d probably be getting another one scheduled. She then walked out to inform the dr about the injection findings and ask about the medication. Upon her return she informed me to schedule the injection and that he would be prescribing any medication. So now I get to not only attemp to go cold turkey but will basically be getting zero sleep at night due to my back and spend much of my mornings in pain. To top it off when I went to the desk to schedule my injection the only thing the dr had put in the system was a follow up 3 months later. I didn’t schedule because I knew what they were doing. I just asked for a copy of my records and walked out in pain with zero plan of what I would do.Nothing better than being in chronic pain for 8 years spending over 100k of my own money to do almost anything to get better. And to be basically shown the door at a center that is there to manage pain. The doctors there don’t care it’s all about how many drug screens, how many injections and how many customers can they shuffle through the doors every day.Before you judge me also know I was bitten in 09 by a lone star tick and was the 13th person in the US to contract the Heartland virus which is way way worse than Lyme disease. I made it through 2 heart attacks. I have a loving wife and two kids and own my own business and have seven employees. I work my butt off every day to provide for my family

Same experience as the other person that went to them 15 years. I went for 20+ years had 3 pain pumps, then my pain got much worse and I ask for an increase in my break through meds so Dr thinks he is God MIRONER cuts my meds down to 2 15 MG morphine a day cause he thinks I am a junkie then after a year and a half I get a CT myelogram and 1 of the catheters attached to my pump was broken and the other was clogged, the real reason I was worse, anyway dont waste your time or money thinking they will help u cause they wont.

I have been a patient for 15 years. I began treatment for an injection of steroids,they took over my medications. Started with 10 mg lortab, pain management was not something I had ever heard of in the beginning. My pain got worse after a discogram done by Dr sattherwaitte. I was in the worst pain Ive ever felt. I went into hospital for 1 month,dr sattherwaitte put me on Dilaudid for 7 years. After my disability came through he changed me to oxycodone 30 Mgs 4 x daily for the last 6 years. He retired earlier this year with no warning. I had been seeing Monica Speaks one of his assistants. Only saw the Dr in the hall every now and then. then She retired in May without notice. They passed me to Dr Mironer, he saw me once and said I was not in pain, he gave me only one of my regular scripts. He was sending me out with no return appt and no tappering of med. I ask him to run a new MRI and he gave me orders for that and a nerve conduction study, he gave me no appt to even get results. I got my insurance involved and they told him they had to see me for results and to tapper down. He set me up with his assistant she had a script for 180 10 mg oxycodone to taper. I thought Ill give it a chance but I dropped script off at drugstore and went back to pick them up,he had wrote directions wrong so I only got 135 I thought thats it and kept an appt with another Dr. Oh and he would not return phone calls to drugstore or me to fix it. I did all I knew and that was to take what I had been before he messed it up. Now they have me at new dr as over taking meds. Omgosh that man messed my world up!!! I have been through withdrawals and these dont control my pain. They are only there to make a fortune getting people depending on these meds then they leave you hanging. They dont care!!! Please dont go there!! After 15 years of following their rules,im left as an abuser of drugs. NOT!!! Thanks for listening,sorry for being long it could have been much longer!
