After needing to switch from another midwife relatively late in pregnancy, Irena and Labors of Love took me on. The care I received was very personal and thorough. Irena gave me plenty of time and was usually quick to answer questions outside of our appointment times as well. She was also careful with possible issues or complications. Because of my distance from the birth center, she was also willing to let me come in earlier in labor. Laboring at the center was a dream come true for me -very peaceful and uninterrupted. The place itself is beautiful and calming. Postpartum, she has been a big help answering questions and providing two postpartum visits rather than just the usual 6 week visit. I would highly recommend for moms who are looking for a peaceful and natural birth.

Our experience at Labors of Love was such a blessing! I had my first son in the hospital, and, while it was not a terrible experience by any means, I desired to have a more peaceful and natural birth with my second son. I started seeing Irena late in my second pregnancy, and she very quickly built a trusting and supportive relationship with me. I had always been a bit scared of the idea of an out of hospital birth, but Irena was very reassuring and gave extremely knowledgeable and thorough responses to my many questions. In the Lord’s kindness, my birth was a wonderful experience as well, and Irena handled everything with gentleness and an expert hand. One of my favorite parts was being able to fellowship with my sweet midwives, doula, and husband as I bonded with my baby immediately after birth—it was such a contrast to the hectic and oftentimes stressful atmosphere at the hospital. I would highly recommend getting to know Irena and Linda and exploring the option of a birth center or home birth, even if you never thought that was what you wanted before!

I have used Labors of Love for my last two babies . I cannot speak highly enough of Linda and the team. They are professional and personal and have been a great fit for us!

There are hardly words to describe how amazing Labors of Love is. Linda is a fantastic, caring midwife who clearly loves what she does. She helped me bring my second son into the world yesterday morning from the comfort of a birthing pool in my bedroom. She was the most encouraging presence during labor and never once made me feel stressed out or worried. I cannot thank Linda enough for the support she provided for me during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I cannot recommendation this place enough. The birth center is beautiful if you decide to use it rather than having a homebirth.

The most positive and wonderful care for pregnancy and birth I could have asked for! Linda, Amy, and Jennifer are caring, confident, VERY knowledgeable, and truly have the mama and babys best interest in mind! I have delivered two babies at this birth center and both experiences were incredibly positive. I never knew birth could be a beautiful and empowering experience, and the staff at labors of love went out of their way to make sure this was the case for us. I can’t say enough good things about the care we received here!

You will not find a more caring and knowledgeable staff apart from Labors of Love. My care through pregnancy and postpartum was always above and beyond my expectations. We moved to the Midwest and I’m beginning the process of deciding on a midwife for our current pregnancy... what I wouldn’t give to have a place like Labors of Love and their awesome team overseeing this birth.
