This was the first time I had surgery at the Surgical Specialty Center. The staff was very professional and caring. The center is very clean and modern. Dr David Jones is an incredible surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone who suffers with back issues. I would gladly send any family or friends to the surgical center and I am eternally grateful to Dr David Jones for helping me to get my life back.

Dr. Henry A. Pool has been my Doctor for 20 years. Dr. Pool is the Best Doctor in all of Greensboro NC. He is a Professional who actually cares about his patients. Always kind and shows compassion for you as his patient. I wish that other Doctors would listen to your needs and be as understanding as he. I am not one who trust most Doctors, but in Doctor Pool I have put my trust many times with back surgery and he is not going to any surgery unless he believes that you will benefit from what needs to be done. I know he will take care of you and your family as he has mine.

Dr. Cram has done surgery on my back three times. Each time for different issue. Each time successful. He has a great bedside manner and his main concern has always been to get you better. Believe me he did not have an easy job fixing my back and neck after getting kicked three times by a racehorse. But Im now pain free and walking normally unlike the way I used to walk after getting stomped almost to death. I highly recommend him if you need any type of spinal surgery

Dr Jones is a very good doctor. He takes the time to explain what hes doing and what would be the best option for your condition. He installed a spinal cord stimulator in my back for the nerve damage to my legs and feet and no issues. Were discussing surgery on my spinal canal in my neck and I trust his judgment unconditionally.

I have been going to Carolina neurosurgery for many years. I have seen different doctors. Dr Cram has preformed 2 surgeries on me one neck and one back surgery. He is a great doctor. Great surgeon. My new doctor Dr Breen is a God send. She has helped me more than she knows and her assistant Hanannah Thursday I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Eichman he gave me neck injections. He is a very gentle man. He talked me through the procedure and made me feel so comfortable. He really wants to help his patients. Very good experience all around. I have never had a bad experience there and would recommend anyone having these issues to go there. Thank everyone there for doing all they can do for me.

My situation was so severe, that one good hit in the head would have been catastrophic for me. Being as scared as I was of possibly being paralyzed from the neck down, Dr Cram somehow made me feel at ease. On July 26, 2021, I had lumbar fusion surgery performed by Dr. Gary P. Cram, Jr. Prior to my surgery I had excruciating pain in my lower back, buttocks, legs and feet. Immediately after this surgery I was literally pain free and up and walking the evening of the surgery. I highly recommend Dr.Stern. I have had back problems since my early 20s (I’m 68 now). I had my first surgery in my 40s and was told then I would need additional surgery later down the road. I put it off as long as I could and finally got tired of pain shots and pain medicine…I was ready to have the problem fixed. I researched many Neurosurgeons and when I read the reviews about Dr. Stern I liked what I read. He told me I could have my surgery in stages because of the extent of my problems or just one surgery. I chose to have the one. It took him 9 hours to do my surgery…I have screws and rods now to stabilize my spine. Before surgery I had excruciating leg pain….I have not had any leg pain since my surgery. I put my faith in God and Dr. Stern and I am doing great! Dr. Stern truly cares for his patients. I could not have asked for a better physician. Thank you Dr. Stern for giving me my life back.

The compassion and care shown by these Doctors was incredible. They were a comfort to my wife as Irecovered from a Brain aneurysm rupture. I was coiled by Dr. NundKumar about 7 hours after my rupture. I had three strokes on the operating table. They checked in everyday as my wife waited and hoped I would come out of a coma. They are the reason I am here. Unfortunately the date is my youngest son’s birthday and he found me in a driveway at work. August 25 2021. I came out of a coma about a week and a half later. They stayed in contact the whole time I was in ICU. Dr. Nundkumars PA Vinnie was incredible!!!!They saved my life!!! I cannot express enough how thankful I am.

Dr. Joseph Stern is the BEST doctor ever - wish he could be my GP as well. Hes kind, thorough, caring, and willing to discuss your situation completely. Ive been there for a brain tumor (benign, thank goodness), and after brain trauma from a concussion and fractured skull. He was recommended, initially, by Dr. Eric Kraus (one of the best ENTs youll find!)Hes also an author (book on Grief) and is brilliant!

Dr. Eichman explained my procedure thoroughly before he began the epidural steroid injection. He and his staff made sure I was completely at ease the entire time. Glad to be out of pain, but the doctor that I saw, Dr. Cram, was short & not very friendly. I think all four of my visits altogether maybe were ten or fifteen minutes at most. He did a phoned in job explaining what would happen/what he was planning to do. He did not do a good job managing my pain before or after my surgery. The only thing that he did well was the surgery, which again we are thankful for. Also, his administrative assistant is very rude. God help you if you need a note for work or anything else. She does a very poor job. She takes forever to get back with you, and does not care about how her delays impact you getting back to work. All of the letters that I was provided with had to be reworked, which caused a delay in me getting back to work. The only positive as it relates to staff was his CNA. She was very nice, and helpful when I needed to call in medicine. Again, I am happy to be feeling better, but Dr. Cram & his assistant are very stand-offish, do not explain things to you completely, and seem not to care about the patients that they serve. If you are looking for a surgeon, I would look elsewhere.

I have been coming to Carolina Neurosurgery for 14 years straight. I have had 6 back surgeries. The very first time I came i was in so much pain I had lost feeling in my right leg I felt like I was paralyzed. I had gone to several orthopedic doctors and they all kept saying I had a bulging disc but I knew it was more than that my cousin had told me about carolina neurosurgery and told me to have them to referr me to them. Dr. Cram was and still is my surgeon and if it wasnt for him finding those ruptured disc and fixing them i dont know what would have happened to me.
