Professional service, I do wish I could have met and talked to the vet. My Coco is an older dog and I am scared of surgery for him, but I do not think he will get better without it. I do wish he could have had his surgery quicker than scheduled, that is my only complain, at this time he is hardly able to walk and he is in pain.

We have 3 inside cats who are patients at Animal Medical Center. We also have 4 feral cats that we have had spayed/neutered at AMC. We feed them and provide shelter for them. And then there is Jack, our 9 year old Golden Retriever.We are always pleased with the care our animals receive. I have called early in the morning on at least 10 occasions over the past 8-9 years to tell them that I trapped a feral, and they have always allowed me to take the cat right in for a spay or neuter.The entire staff is pleasant, professional and they are great with our animals. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My Lucy girl was very sick and her regular veterinarians office was closed. Starting with my first contact with Madison all the way through pick up the staff were best of the best. Dr. Al explained his diagnosis thoroughly and his plan for follow up check. I recommend Animal Medical Center for your furry family members.

My sweet little buddy was ill and I knew he wasn’t going to make it. I called my vet and 2 others who were too busy to help me. I was at my wits end. I called my daughter to get the name of her vet and she told me to call here. They were booked solid but told me to come as soon as possible. They took us in right away and examined my baby and told me I was correct. They were so nice, very caring, did not rush me let me have the time I needed with my sweet boy. They helped him make his journey to the rainbow bridge and were so caring if me. They are the best.

I am a regular patient of there’s (for over 10 years) and they didn’t inform me they were no longer an emergency on call vet! So when I had an emergency with my 15 year old baby and called that number I got transferred to Airport pet emergency clinic in Bluntville . Granted they were amazing but that’s beside the point they were an hour and a half away from me !!I’m so upset I have been on the fence with what to do but this toped the cake so unprofessional and also it’s neglectful of there patients. People expect help to be 20 minutes away not 1hr 30min. SHAME ON THEM!!!!!

Booked them on short notice and they were able to keep our dog - even 1 day longer than the original plan. He is sometimes difficult to bathe and clip, but they were able to do all of his grooming and he looks fantastic !! He had not stayed there before, but we were very pleased and will use them again.

My cat 🐈‍⬛ became suddenly ill and was unable to walk. They took him in immediately, found the problem and he was home in two days. He’s happy and healthy and I’m thankful for the vet.

My cat was squeezed in on an already fully scheduled day - with no notice - after he was wounded. The staff had no obligation to work him in.They are friendly, professional - and they work very hard because they care about animals.Also, the cost is much lower than at other clinics Ive been to. I dont know what wed do without them.

They are very dedicated and caring. I have a feisty cat (pardon the redundancy), but they are great with Lil Bär. I feel very confident that my cat is receiving the best treatment and care possible. I have no hesitations in recommending then.

Pros:- Nice new facility (from outside)- Reasonable boarding ratesCons:- Communication:- Website states office hours on various pages, but these differ from boarding hours. Needs clarification.- Practice is still in lockdown, with no opportunity to view the facilities.- No info on turnover- No write -up on their stay, how they ate, any issues.- Dogs were very hungry when picked up. No information on when they were fed, how much, etc.In all fairness, we did have to change both drop-off and pickup schedules, which may have disrupted their routine. The primary concern was that both dogs seemed absolutely starved when picked up.

This business has always provided the best care for my pets. They explain everything in an understandable way. They are highly skilled and really care about the animals. Theyre the very best.

I called about 2 hours before the office closed on a Friday afternoon with somewhat of an emergency. The office said they were double booked the rest of the day. She put me in hold to go talk to the Dr about my situation and I was told to come in as soon as i could get there. My 4 month old Lab had chewed on something and broke her back tooth and shoved the broken piece through her gum up towards her jaw bone leaving a deep cut in her gums. She had to be sedated the tooth and piece were extracted and she was stitched up. Animal Medical Center has been my vet for going on 8 years and Dr. Al and Dr. Ed will do whatever they can to get my babies better. Best Veterinarian in Greeneville!

I had a cat for 19 years and both Dr. Claibornes fought so hard to save my Snoopy but his age and illness finally won. Words cannot describe my gratitude and respect for the doctors and staff. I plan on getting another puppy for my new puppy to have a playmate....it will be taken there too. I dont know what I will do when they retire..🙂. We came to Animal Medical Center of Greeneville because one of our dogs needed management of diabetes insipidus. The entire team is always so helpful and explains everything so thoroughly. Great customer service for the pets and the owners! They have also done an awesome job of managing office visits during COVID. I have no doubt the valet service has added to their work load, but you would never know it. Nothing but smiles, even when they are meeting you in the parking lot in rain. :)

They were booked solid but worked my Bella in when she fell down the stairs. Bella isnt a social baby but she loves the staff. They are very attentive to the pet parents too.

The worst day of my life. My cat died getting spayed. You all charge an extra $65 dollars to monitor their heart rate, and we couldnt afford that. Im sure it costs you nowhere near that to monitor their heart during surgery, that should be mandatory not a luxury some animals get and some dont. If she was being monitored she might still be here. I had three cats spayed, and by the way the other two are still acting Im thinking to much anesthesia was given, and one of my cats was unlucky enough for it to kill her.

My dog was having problems with her rearend bleeding. I was able to get in with a sameday appointment even though they were fairly busy. The Dr. identified the issue and was able to get her all fixed up. She had to have a antibiotic shot, pain shot, inflammation shot andsome other things and 2 days later shes able to potty like nothing ever happened. Ive been going here for years and wouldnt go anywhere else.

Will never use them again. I took my dog in today to just have her nails trimmed . They said they had to sedate her to cut them. I asked the price and was told the sedation was $30, When they brought her back to me she could not even stand up and they charged me $145. Now hours later she still is not right. I used them for years but now I will never go back

The folks @ the clinic really care about you and your pet(s).

Our cat was in a lot of pain from a wound, and we suspected she had a fever (she did), so my husband called to see about getting her in for treatment. The receptionist told him that they werent sure about treatment options, and to please email them pictures of the wound. We did. I waited for two hours to be contacted back while our girl was struggling, and *NEVER* heard back! I finally called another hospital that got her right in as a walk-in and treated her. It was a good thing, too, as she was in so much discomfort and had a fairly high fever.

Dr. Al Jr is an amazing Vet! You can tell he truly loves what he does. He has went above and beyond to help all 7 of our animals, especially our husky Leo that has epilepsy. I highly recommend him!

My husband was erroneously delayed, and his truck towed, while coming through the area. The tow company called me in TX, and said that they could take our 8 month old Malamute to this clinic, for boarding, as we didnt know what was happening, and wanted her safe. They were easy to work with over the phone, and she was happy when my husband came to pick her up a few hours later, after the issue was corrected. They were more than fair with their charges, and made me feel a bit calmer, during a chaotic time. If we lived in the area, I would have no problem entrusting our fur kids to them.

I brought my dog here because I saw all of the amazing reviews. I will give credit where it is due. I was a non-client and brought my dog in as an emergency. The doctor saw her within 30 minutes of me calling, no questions asked. The staff were all very friendly and the place looked very clean and professional.However, she had been there for 2, going on 3 days when I stopped in to check on her. When I told them I was there to see her, they told me she was ready to go. I never got any call saying that she was ready to leave (believe me, I stayed by the phone the whole time she was hospitalized). They handed me her medicine and told me how often to give it to her. They didnt tell me what it was or what it was for until I asked. I wasnt even made aware that she had been prescribed any medicine. I had to ask for all of the information I received about her diagnosis and aftercare, they werent going to tell me anything. When I asked what they determined was wrong with my dog, they told me the vet she had been seeing wasnt in so they asked another vet working there about her diagnosis. That vet then told me what they think MIGHT be wrong with her.So basically, I paid over $1,000 and was strung along for 2 days just for someone to guess what MIGHT be wrong with my dog. I received no definitive answers whatsoever. And what little information I did receive I had to explicitly ask for. On top of that, they didnt even tell me that my dog had already been ready to go home. And Im still going to have to take my dog to another vet to find out what is actually wrong with her, and get her proper treatment.

We take our cat and dog here. They are always able to get us in quickly. The waiting room and exam rooms are nice and welcoming.

We are very happy that we finally found a good vet to take our pets to. We took our sick puppy to Animal Medical Center of Greeneville last week and we were very impressed by how friendly the staff was and how efficient they were. He is doing much better. We will be bringing the rest of our pets here from now on as well.

The most expensive phone call Ive ever made in my life. Not only did we never make it to the clinic (after hours for an emergency), we never got out of our driveway--our baby passed away in our arms while we were warming up the car.. But we were still charged the $125. Nice.

We had taken our cat into another vet, where we got poor service. When we brought our cat into the office at Animal Medical Center of Greeneville, we were treated very kindly and everyone had a great interest in the animals and trying to do the best thing for them. Our cat had to be put to sleep, but the doctor and nurses were very kind, gentle and compassionate. I will be bringing the rest of my animals here and avoid the other vet I went to at all costs.

What a great place! We had our first appointment with Animal Medical Center last week, and we were totally impressed. Our German Shepherd had just given birth to her first litter, and to our surprise- she rejected the entire litter. We were panicked because we could not get those little fellas to take bottles. We met with Dr. Don and he knew exactly what to do, and by that night, she began bonding with her new babies. Within twenty-four hours she was taking care of them like a pro! The care that she received was awesome, and their level or professionalism and compassion was outstanding. They even called back a couple of days later to check on her- all of that for a VERY reasonable price, We will be switching all of our animal care to him and his staff. Cant say enough nice things about this place and the staff.

Dr. Claiborne turned around on his way home to see my after hours emergency. My dog had 3 seizures in 20 min. He treated him told me what to do and it has worked. He knows his stuff. Hence why when my Chihuahua was attacked he was whom I took him to. The staff listen to you.

My kitty Angel has been with me through some bad years. I lost respect, health, a good job, my home...some family turned away. But I could count on Angel. On the night of November 17 ,2016 .my five month old black lab Bobbie Sue was struck by a passing car at our home.i immediately began trying to find help calling my vet .Bobbie Sue was in serious trouble.all I could get from the vet I had trusted for many years was a after hours vet service in Talbot near Morristown.no Bobbie Sue would not make it to morristown. With one call to dr. Claibornes office I got to his emergency service which he answered . I know if not for his quick response time Bobbie Sue would have died.her lungs were bruised and filling with fluid,struggling for each breath of air. Dr. Claiborne saved Bobbie Sue that night Im sure.my usual vet called me back an hour and a half later. But I knew by then dr. Claiborne would be the vet of mine and Bobbie shes choice now. Trust dr.
