If I could leave zero stars, I would. We arrived at this establishment and signed in for cuts for 9 year old twins- one of whom has very obvious, visual physical disabilities. After waiting 20+ minutes outside the store, we were called in for the first haircut. During this time the handicapped child was being held and visible to everyone there. As the first was almost done the other childs name was called and we were asked if he would be able to sit alone and informed that if not- he could not get his hair cut. It was clear to anyone with eyes that he was unable to sit, hence the reason he was held during the entire wait. While I didnt think this was a case of discrimination, it was definitely a case of poorly run business. Rules like these should be posted clearly on the windows alongside the signs informing us we had to wear masks to enter. We left and took the other child to Smart Styles inside Walmart where we were warmly welcomed and received a better quality cut to boot.

This is the 5th time Harley has cut my hair with a razor and she does a great job. Havent had my hair look this good in many, many years. Just thrilled to find someone who cuts it the way I want it. Ive found myself a permanent hair stylist. Shes great.

Before the pandemic I really enjoyed going and getting my haircut here. However, more recently its become nearly impossible to get my haircut here. I have a child I often have to bring with me who is under 12 years old. I was refused once because she wasnt getting a hair cut and she couldnt stay inside unless she was a customer. I was expected to find someone to watch her, not everyone can do that.The mask mandate was lifted a while ago now, and she isnt allowed inside unless shes wearing a mask. Not everyone can or will be vaccinated and if you dont get it, youre not treated as normal anymore. I dont like the fact that Im asked about my vaccination status either as thats medical information and in my opinion protected information that shouldnt be forced to be shared and is personal choice. Id still recommend them if you can go alone, but they are no longer friendly for people who wish to not be vaccinated, masked, or have children under the age of vaccination. I am sadly forced to look for another salon that is willing to accommodate my family and our needs. I may consider returning when they will service everyone equally. :(

This was a good experience except for a couple minor details, on my hair I as getting a 1/2 inch in the sides and back and 2 inches on the top and front, that’s what I got except it was uneven in the sides and I had a whole chunk up hair missing in the front, good thing I could cover it up though. I guess you could say no so great clips.

I love going to great clips for haircuts bc me and my fiancé can both visit, have stellar service, for a way affordable price and I’m always happy with my result. Plus you get a coupon after every visit that you can then you use on your next visit making it even insanely cheap for the great service and professionalism. I asked to take my side shave up a little higher on MY right side (the left in this pic) which a previous salon said it wouldn’t let right when I straightened it (my hair is actually very curly) BUT she cut my hair so it would still lay right and was able to accommodate my side shave and it lays perfectly straight or curly. Plus anytime I’ve not been happy or wanted something changed I’ve easily been able to say something (in a nice manner of course) and get it taken care of. They are personable and follow covid precautions. I highly recommend. They also have my info on file so I don’t gave to keep up with what level guard was used or anything bc they do it for me! Oh yeah, they also have an app where you can schedule and check in and not even get out of the car until they are ready for you! Even when I had long hair they still did great! (Pic is not the best of me but it’s the day of the cut after I came home and had just showered and styled it). Give them a try, it’s not just for men’s hair cuts!

Online check-in is a joke! I checked-in online with at 19 minute wait. When we arrived & checked-in with the location we were advised there was an additional 45 minute wait. They are not honoring online check-in, it is first come first serve. Defeats the purpose of online check-in. Horrible experience! If you have lots of time to wait & dont mind lots of people in the waiting area, this is the place for you!

The place is filthy. There is hair in the corners of the rooms, dirty floors, and the chairs have not been sanitized. We also saw several people not wearing masks, so they do not care about the safety of their clientele. The receptionist is atrociously rude and frequently yells and cusses at customers. I would give zero stars if I could! We will not be back!

I never write reviews, but today I just have to. I went for a haircut at a different salon, and the woman there absolutely ruined my hair, leaving a huge uneven hole cut out of the back of what I thought would be a simple layered A-line bob. I wanted to cry. I decided to try great clips immediately after to see if there was a way to fix it without having to cut my hair to a pixie cut. I was able to be seen right away, and Rebecca did an amazing job! She was super sweet, very professional, and I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a cut. Thank you Rebecca for making my hair look so cute after such a disastrous cut. You’re amazing!

Unprofessional does not even begin to cut it! Staff are rude, there was gum in the seat when I sat down, which tells me they dont clean or care. Front desk girl asked me what I expected her to do about it, rolled her eyes, and walked off to the hairdresser section. We wont be back.

Went to get 3 hair cuts & high lights. Was told they are only doing hair cuts. I walked back to car to talk to husband & daughter. Daughter said she didn’t want one then. I walked back up lady told me they had to check temperature, ok i was fine with that. She was 3feet away from me when she said i had a fever of over a hundred. How the hell would you get a temerature from that far away & I know for a fact that I would know if i have a temperature that high. Horrible service & clearly don’t want customers at all. If that is the case just say you don’t want customers just close the doors & don’t bother opening. We won’t be back!

Went in for a haircut, Showed the girl who cut my hair the exact haircut I wanted, She used an 8 guard at first and then said she was going to go down to a 6 guard, didnt bother to even explain how much shorter it was, the sides are uneven and the top is way too short and is impossible to style, even with the $35+ I spent on products, The only redeeming thing about this experience was to know to never go back again! Avoid.

I took my daughter here to get her hair cut. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and the prices are great. I showed the women a pic of of how I wanted her hair cut (it was actually a pic of herself) and it didnt turn out as good as it did when I took her to a high in place but it wasnt horrible. I think great clips is a better place for men and children to get their hair done.

The staff was nice. There was only 2 ladies working so the wait time was kind of long. They did a good job but one forgot to cut the side burns on one side of my childs head. I didnt notice till we got home. Still would probably go back just pay more attention next time.

My 9 year old decided that she wanted her haircut and cut it herself twice. We ended up going to Great Clips and they fixed it up the best that could be fixed as she had cut her bangs too far back. We go here for the entire family most of the time. Great people and great service must be why theyre called Great Clips.

Grate hair cuts.

I went to get a trim on the back of my hair at the end on very bottom lenght at base of neck....Ive been trying to grow it out for over a year. The guy that cut it said so what are we doing, I said Im trying to grow out to all one length. I showed him where i wanted it trimmed off. I said just cut this straight across even with the next longest length. Then trim my bangs up. The first thing he did was take his scissors reached and grab a handful of hair in the middle of head in the back and cut at a down angle. I simply said hey Im letting hair grow out didnt you hear me. He was too busy talking and laughing with the other stylists to pay attention to what he was doing or what i said either! So if you go there to get a haircut and especially if you are trying to grow it out....MAKE SURE THE GUY DOES NOT CUT YOUR HAIR! When i got home and looked at it i got sick to my stomach....even worse he left it about 1 longer on one side in the back than the other, and the front he cut one side and left the other about 2.5 inches longer than the other side. I called back and talk to management and the lady ask me to come back and let her fix it. When i went back and she took one look at me and said Oh my goodness! I said yeah really. Then i told her i was growing it out and showed her where it was in length. She apologized and said i wish i could do something more. A years worth of letting it grow and taking vitamins shot to h_ _ _! in less than 5 seconds!

I walk in and theres two customers with 2 stylists. Both guy customers. Was told would have to wait 45 minutes. They tell me they dont do appointments so what am I waiting for?Just another Greeneville business that only takes care of the good ole boys... .

Now my husband needs a his head shaved. My husband just returned home from here. He requested his hair layered and thinned. She told him ok. But when finished he asked where the layers was, he say she looked at him as said what so he just paid and left. I told him he needs to shave his head. It looks like a crazy scientist off back to the future. Hate hate hate what was done to him, and this was for vacation. He should not have paid for it. Now I have to find someone to cut his hair and hopefully fix it or I will shave it.

They really take good care to make sure you like what they do. When you register they put how you like your haircut in the computer and no matter who cuts it is the same. Good work.

Not enough people working the store to get people in and out in a timely manner. I went in Saturday to get a hair cut,and again today on November 5th. Still no hair cut. I cant make reservations because of my job. I normally walk into one your stores in Johnson City,and have no problems.

Today with Chloe. Not a good experience. Made me walk out feeling bummed. She never spoke a word and she was as cold as ice. I believe in good customer service, not looking for entertainment, but a cheery outlook and perhaps acting like you want the customer to return would have made the experience worth a return visit. 🤔😔 Id try another Great Clips.

I avoid conflict if at all possible but I really wish I had spoke up about the quality of my sons haircut while we were in the store. I paid $11 for a cut I couldve done at home. We always leave a little bit of bangs on him and they are very uneven and choppy. I do not know the sytlists name but he needs to find another career. It has been probably 6 months ago but the same stylist messed up my hair. If you do go there do not let the male stylist torch you hair.

When we arrived, admittedly close to closing, we were rudely greeted by an employee. Later, after sitting down in the chair to begin, he/she simply said “what are we doing” with a tone that said “I want to get you done and out of here” so I told him/her and the haircut was well done, however when taking off my glasses I had accidentally bumbed him/her with my elbow. I apologized quietly due to the latent awkwardness of the situation. Later, after giving a tip that was 63% of the total cost of the 11 minute haircut we left. When sitting in the car about to leave, I looked back and saw the employee visibly upset and seemingly fussing and making gestures that were reminiscent of mocking in my direction. Then he/she made an elbow gesture similar to that which I had accidentally done. I’m sorry if the employee was having a bad day but it was unprofessional and rude to take it out on the customers. I will not be returning because of this employee and the aforementioned awkwardness which I’m sure will return given the mimicking I had witnessed he/she direct towards me. I stress that the haircut was well done but not good enough to excuse the unsettling atmosphere and demeanour of the employee. I unfortunately will not revisit this otherwise convient and clean establishment.

I went in to get my hair trimmed and sadly I walked out with my hair all chopped up. None of it was even. It looks like someone just grabbed scissors and started going crazy. I want to do something about this but I don’t know what to do. I had pretty, healthy hair and the woman clearly didn’t know what she was doing, ruined my hair. 😡

I just got the worst haircut of my life. It was so terrible I was to emharassed to go in Wallmart when I left. I cant believe they would let someone walk out like that. I just paid $12 to have to go home and shave my head. My receipt says the name Kandi, and a coupon for $2 off next cut. No way will I go back to use it.I called management about the problem and they were very courteous and apologized and asked me what they could do to fix the problem. They gave me a free hair cut and put it in the computer for whenever I wanted to use it. I still havent went back, but Im writing this to say the management is very professional and considerate of there customers satisfaction.
