I’ve been a patient of Dr. Baxi for over two years now and he is the first doctor I’ve ever come across in my entire 56 years of life that was so compassionate, shows such care and concern, and very knowledgeable. I was very impressed the first time I saw him. I’ve been to several gynecologists in my lifetime and he is the only doctor that has taken the time to explain what has happened to my body and what could happen. He has been very consistent in his professional medical services. I have recommended friends and they are all very impressed with him. I believe in his knowledge and talents and would highly recommend him. He is certainly living in his purpose. Thank you Dr.

Dr. Baxi is not my usual doctor, but he was recommended to me to discuss my birth control options. He took the time to really explain how the female body works and what the different forms of birth control actually do. I got an ultrasound, and he didnt just say Looks fine. He explained to me what the normal parameters are and what he was looking for. I felt like he respected me enough to want me to understand what was going on and not just take his word for it.

I recently moved to Maryland, not even a month ago and my annual pap is due so I gave this office a try! This is the best pap appointment I’ve ever had. The best doctors visit period. Dr. Bax is amazing and he took the time to talk with me before starting the exam and ask me questions about my health and just genuinely cared. Erin was the nurse and she was great too! Really sweet and easy to talk to. I don’t remember the office managers name but she was sweet and friendly as well. So happy!

After my first visit, I definitely have a new home. Everyone there was respectful and made me feel welcomed. My visit was very informative and they handled me with care.

He listens! He actually listened to my concerns and he was great at explaining and helping me understand (even drew a diagram on a paper towel 😂 which was very helpful). Everyone from the office staff to the medical assistant were so friendly and helpful. That and the decor made me feel calm and comfortable! I 100% recommended! I went to Dr Baxi after years of being in excruciating pain. And he was so helpful and amazing! He talk me through every single thing he was going to do before he did it. When I ultimately needed to have surgery he treating me like one of his family members! I sent a few people his was and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Baxi is awesome! Very knowledgeable and patient. He takes the time to answer your questions and give you information you never knew you needed! He and his office staff are kind. He will make sure you understand what is going on with your body. He does illustrations so you can visualize what he is saying. He is the best in his field in my opinion.

I have never given 5 stars,because i have never received 5 stars worth of service/patient care. Either the doctor is great and the office employees/nurses are horrible or vice versa. Here i received excellent service from everyone! Everyone had a kind,compassionate and sincere bedside manner. I left with a clear understanding of my path forward and all details involved.(a plan)! I am extremely happy and pleased to continue my patient care here. It is extremely hard,especially during covid19 to find great care anymore,(i have been everywhere) but now I have found it!!!!!

Unfortunately Dr Baxi hired a horrible representative at front desk. I’ve had numerous experiences with this one particular woman. She is rude, condescending, and inconsiderate. It’s unfortunate to have a such a nice doctor but horrible staff. The woman creates problems not solutions. She makes any situation amplified. And any inconvenience she will blame everyone but herself.

Worst customer service!!! The person that answers the phones is rude, no customer service skills and talks to patients as if she was doing them a favor. She’s even quick to hang up the phone on you if you stand up to her and ask her to talk to you with a little respect. I don’t recommend them at all unless you are looking to be treated as less than what you know you deserve. Remember the way they treat you on the phone is only the way they’ll treat you when you’re in their office in person. I’ve dealt with other doctors offices and your well being is their priority from the person that schedules your appointment to the doctor that sees you until the end.

I had surgery with Dr. Baxi August 11, 2020. My entire experience pre, during and post surgery have been outstanding. Even though I live closer to reknown hospitals and surgeons in the Baltimore area that perform robotic laparoscopic surgery, I sought out Dr. Baxi because of his excellent reviews, experience with dualportgyn and minimally invasive surgery as well as his professionalism and personally invested attitude towards his patients. I was not disappointed in any way. His staff were professional. I was surprised at how quickly my calls were returned and the courteous attitude of everyone I met there. Dr. Baxi made me feel at ease. He took time to explain my situation, at no time did I feel rushed since I had a million questions. He listened and addressed all my concerns. He encouraged me to seek second, third opinions prior to making a decision. I felt very confident with my decision to go ahead with surgery with him. My recovery has been much easier than expected and I would recommend him to anyone!!! It is definitely true that it is not the hospital but the skill of the surgeon and of course Gods hands in any issue can never be negated. Thank you so much Dr. Baxi and Oasis!! My life is much better already.

Dr. Baxi is one of the best doctors I have ever been too. Hes completely invested in your health care, and while it should be that way across the board its extremely hard to find. His office staff is friendly, and they are organized over all. He also has one of the most personal medical assistants I have met in a while. As someone who would not see a male OB before since our first meeting I have referred him to several people. From the first meeting he is compassionate and empathetic. He engages and asks questions and my favorite part... he teaches. I leave each visit not only understanding whats going on inside my body, but with the ability to teach someone else about it if necessary. I want to say do yourself a favor and put him on your list of healthcare providers but at the same time want to be able to get appointments when I need too LOL. All in all you will not regret going to see him. Youll probably wonder why you didnt know about him before.

If you struggle with fibroids and you’re looking for a surgeon who is extremely knowledgeable, warm, thoughtful and thorough, you need to contact Dr. Baxi! After years of struggling with uterine fibroids, and searching for a doctor who didn’t want to immediately remove my uterus without even knowing my medical history, I did my research and came across Dr. Baxi’s practice. He was the only one that made me feel seen and heard. We came up with a medical plan and executed it not even 3 months after my initial visit. I am now 10 days post op from my myomectomy with uterus still intact and on the mend. I am so grateful for him and all the medical support staff at Doctors Community Hospital. They were all amazing! From the receptionist to all of the nurses, anesthesiologist, and discharge teams. I’m blessed and grateful to them all.

My experience with Dr. Baxi and his staff was life saving. I had surgery on 1/25/21 because Dr. Baxi didn’t ignore my symptoms. Because of his belief in what I was saying, I’m here to write this post/review! I felt heard, seen and validated when I put my medical concerns in Dr. Baxi’s hand. I would highly recommend this center for all your Gynecological needs. I’m beyond pleased with everything.

First I must say Dr. Baxi and his staff are amazing. I’ve had nothing but the best experience from the first appointment until now. I had surgery 11/7 and I couldn’t have made a better decision. I couldn’t have asked for a better Gynecologist.

I love love love Oasis Women’s Center. I had an unexpected health issue come up which put me in the hospital last year back in August. My follow up was with Dr.Baxi a few days after. When I tell you I couldn’t have found a better doctors office, the nurses at this office goes above and beyond. Especially Erin. She was very pleasant and patient with me. She explained everything to the T of what to expect during my visits. To this day I still have a close bond with everyone at this office. Thank you guys for taking care of me.

Love the receptionist they been nice to me since day one when I came before time and had to wait which it’s understandable I got there before opening time as well. Once I went in paper work went fast they are very nice love them. And the Dr so adorable he is nice as well he wells inform you in everything.

Be careful!! Medical assistant will disclose your medical information and has a very aggressive attitude not good for service as I experienced. On 7/6, only medical assistant at office (easy to figure out small office) disclosed my specific HIPPA condition in hallway as a personal insult to me, after I asked for a different medical assistant to finish my exam because her aggressive attitude made me not trust her with my medical info. I was right. I reported her to Dr. Baxi, after he heard me repeat the comment he quickly told her to be quiet and directed her to sit in a room by herself. I told him I was reporting this incident to medical board, HIPPA and referring agency he then refused to treat me and asked me to leave without being seen.

I have nothing but rave reviews for this office. From Jereese at the front desk, to Erin who assists Dr. Baxi, and of course, Dr. Baxi, you will get the best care all around. Dr. Baxi is one of the best doctors hands down. He takes his time with you, listens, and explains everything. His demeanor is so calm and comforting. And he’s an amazing surgeon to boot! Wish there was a Dr. Baxi in every discipline. Recommend 100%!

I have concerns about this doctor visit, August 2020.First, I was not properly greeted by the receptionist, who say she did work for Dr. Baxi and just let me sit in the waiting room til I spoke up. The receptionist for Dr. Baxi did not have a face mask on. Dr. Baxi set too close to me while discussing my visit but he did have a face mask on. I don’t recall the Dr. washing his hands before the exam.

Dr. Baxi and his staff are AMAZING! Erin and Jereese are so kind and patient. They make you feel comfortable and go above and beyond to help and answer all of your questions. Last week I had laporascopic surgery for two large cysts and various other issues. Dr Baxi has been nothing short of amazing. From my initial appt he has been patient, caring and genuine. I knew he had my best interest at heart from day one. He never tried to persuade me to do anything. He gave me the facts and his professional opinion, and let me make the decision. The surgery and recovery were exactly as he said they would be. Everything was seamless! My cysts were large and he was able to remove them both with two small incisions. I honestly had little to no pain after surgery. There was discomfort from the gas in my shoulder/side and some cramping which was to be expected, but they were easily controlled with meds. In fact I stopped the strong meds after 2 days. The staff at Doctors hospital was great. Very caring and professional, especially during covid when I was unable to have anyone in the hospital with me during the surgery. They made me feel comfy and cared for. The only thing I regret is putting this off for so long.

Dr. Baxi, Jereese, and Erin are the BEST hands down. Dr. Baxi was thorough about everything. We discuss all my options. I felt so comfortable him and his energy was uplifting. I finally met a doctor that listens to my concerns. My pre, during, and post surgery experience was amazing. My two incisions from my laparoscopic myomectomy are healing beautiful and I have a healthy uterus for the future. Again, Dr. Baxi and the ladies at Oasis Womens Center are the best! #fibroidsurvivor

Its been a long road to recovery and Dr. Baxi was one of my last stops. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and made me feel comfortable very quickly. Also, he has a pretty witty sense of humor. I needed something to laugh about. I could not have made a better choice in a doctor. He is very empathetic and compassionate. The staff is also A+. Appointments are on time and is very important since I was traveling 2 hours both ways. Hopefully I will never have to return, but if so, #1 choice. Highly recommended.

My primary care physician and her PA referred me to Dr. Baxi for a consult on lady parts issues. Long story short, when I walked out of his office, I felt like I could go to med school and become a doctor! He explained so much in our consultation. He took time with me. He drew various diagrams. He asked me over and over whether I had questions about anything that he was explaining. He was very attentive and answered every question I had. He made sure that I understood what was going on with my body and provided education and understanding of my options, those feasible and not-so-feasible. Would I recommend this doctor? Hell yeah! I am so happy that I found a doctor that I can trust. He explained everything to my husband and I and even showed us pics so that we would leave with a better understanding of what was going on with my body. The best office I have been to by far. My experience with Dr. Baxi was wonderful, and exactly as he described. When I initially met with him to get a second opinion about the possibility of surgery, he took the time to go over my test results, explain his recommended path forward, and answer all of my questions. He clearly articulated what he would do during surgery and what I should expect for recovery. He said I would need a few days of rest and pain medication, but I would not have any limitations except for heavy lifting. I got another opinion from a different surgeon who said I would need 2 to 6 weeks for recovery. After getting different opinions, I’m glad that I chose to have surgery with Dr. Baxi. I felt well-educated about what to expect and well-cared for by him and his team. I had a positive and seamless experience at Doctors Community Hospital. I went home the day of surgery and rested over a long weekend. I recovered quickly and was able to go on an already-planned family vacation 12 days after surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Baxi for minimally invasive GYN surgery.

Dr. Baxi is the best doctor I have ever had and this is not an exaggeration and trust me I have seen a lot of doctors. He truly cares about his patients. On my first visit he spent about 45 minutes with me going through my history, and just having a conversation with me like a human being. In that conversation, I learned so much about my gynecological health and how a body works. He made me feel so at ease and on my subsequent visit, he remembered me and things I had told him without even reading a chart. This is the type of doctor you want ladies. Not only is he attentive, he is extremely knowledgeable. His surgical skills are top notch. He was honest about my prognosis, the risks and my recovery. I would recommend him to anyone with a serious gyn issue who needs someone to listen and take action. I was very sad to discover he doesnt do obstetrics but grateful to have had him in any capacity.

Today he called, himself, not a staff member, to follow up and see how I was doing. In a time where doctors are over booked and too busy to return calls, Dr. Baxi was the complete opposite and such a breath of fresh air. The last time I saw a GYN, I sat in the waiting room for three hours before being called back to the room. I vowed that I would simply go to my GP and let her provide my GYN needs, and I did for the next 17 years. Recently, it became necessary to see a GYN, so I reached out to a friend and she referred me to Dr. Baxi. My life is forever changed! I am so very pleased with the service. Above all else, Dr. Baxi medically taught me so much I never knew about my body. I just kept saying, I was never told this! There was no three hour wait. I was in and out in about one hour. If youre looking for a great GYN, go to Dr. Baxi! You shall not be disappointed.

GREAT! AWESOME! FRIENDLY! INFORMATIVE! WELCOMING!I am new to the DMV area and it has been a little difficult trying to find new doctors for my needs because I became very comfortable with a certain level of care. However, Dr. Baxi is the only doctor I am absolutely convinced of so far!I happened to stumble upon Dr. Baxis name when I requested my insurance send me a list of doctors in-network. I was referred to an OBGYN by my primary, but I was not satisfied. That office could not provided me with an appointment any sooner than 2mos out (a huge backfire for the teacher trying to knock appointments out in the summer). However, when I called Dr. Baxis office, they gave me availability within a week span. I think I even gave a sigh of relief on the phone saying oh my gosh, you guys are awesome when she gave me my options.Calling the office to schedule appointments and or speak to the clinical staff is not complicated like most offices. There are literally two easy prompts and youre talking to a human being. Nurses/staff are welcoming! The wait time to be seen and filling out paperwork is quick. Appearance is very clean and organized.Dr. Baxi did a full greeting of who he is and his expectations in serving in his practice upon my first appointment. That was a new experience. For me, it breaks the ice and builds a quicker and more comfortable relationship with new clients and I really appreciated it. He also mentioned how he likes to educated his patients so we can actively understand what is going on with our bodies - it didnt take long for me to believe how sincere he was on that and I really do appreciate how he invests time to break things down/make me become an active student and participant in my health.I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

I was admitted into the hospital on January 2nd that’s when I met Dr. Baxi the ER dr called him in for a consultation on my case he immediately came in and said he wanted to help me after reading my profile. He came to my room and took his time to explain what was going on with my body he even drew pictures so I could fully understand. He is very attentive and he speaks to you in a way that you can understand what he’s saying. He listens to what you have to say and doesn’t brush you off like your not important. He treats you like a person instead of a patient which is very important to me. His bedside manners are awesome. He is a very humble person. He performed my hysterectomy on January 3rd. Three small incisions and I had little to no pain afterwards I was up and walking around in a few hrs. I was discharged on January 4th no pain meds needed. After I left the hospital I went to target that how great I was feeling. I was just a little aching for the most part just very mild cramps. It’s been two weeks now and I had my first appointment with him in his office and the staff are just as wonderful as he is. The office is very clean and comfortable. I would also like to take the time to acknowledge his partner Dr.Williams she is amazing as well they are a good team and I highly recommend them. Thank you Dr. Baxi for stepping in and stepping up. You are awesome!!

Dr. Baxi is fantastic. He has always treated me with overwhelming respect, listens to concerns, and actually remembers things about you even if he only sees you once or twice a year. I have never felt like an appointment was rushed or that anything was overlooked, his attention to detail is excellent and he takes so much pride in what he does. I was so sad to see him leave upstate New York (because that meant he couldnt be my doctor anymore!), but I am happy he is on to greater things, and I also know I can always give him a call if I needed any health advice or have any questions! Always goes above and beyond. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an OB/GYN.
